I’m thankful for being able to get my son some new clothes for the spring/summer and his birthday and also the weather here in the UK 🇬🇧 being lovely and sunny ☀️ Spring is definitely on its way!! xx 😘

I love the classic look of oak. I feel like you could refinish it and enjoy it like that until you’re bored of it and then paint it black. Best of both worlds!

You are my thrifting spirit animal.
Another idea for your entry table would be to paint the legs, but sand the top and leave it natural. I like doing this when I'm too lazy to strip all the tiny, hard-to-get, detailed areas, but still want some of the natural wood look :)

Dang, I wish we had those prices in SoCal at our thrift stores! I got a solid wood cabinet we use for our bar/liquor cabinet from goodwill and I thought it was a steal at $40! 😆

Great finds! I LOVE thrifting and thrifting videos. I would leave the table as natural wood. It is a truly beautiful piece of furniture!
Lately, I've been IN LOVE with any piece speckled, I just bought some speckled pots and pans from Amazon in a creme color, I've been in love its made cooking so much more bearable...I meant enjoyable 🤣

I would go natural wood for the entry table. Black is so harsh with a larger piece of furniture I feel. Plus it will draw the eye just to that and not to the beautiful light entry of your home. I also, as a large greenhouse owner myself, would suggest placement in the sunniest part of your yard. Sunlight is paramount for its success. Best of luck and I know your excitement. Such a lovely young lady you are and with a beautiful family.
We did put it in the sunny corner!
I Would Use a Orbital Sander and get it down to Natural Wood and keep it that way and than later if u get tired of it you can paint it Black! LOVE all of your Purchases!♥️

You can’t go wrong with natural wood, but I think with how limited the black in your home is, the contrast and visual impact of painting the table black would be seriously so cool! I can’t believe it was so cheap!

That’s the great part! The roof has an automatic weather sensing spring mechanism that opens the roof when it becomes too humid!

I loved your Thrift haul you have brought some lovely pieces, the long table i think you should strip it and use chalk paint to give it a vintage feel to it. This would look lovely. I love your vintage cottage style its beautiful. xxx
Be careful about putting your favorite baskets outside in the greenhouse! The humidity will make them mold :( learned the hard way. Love the entryway table, you should Deff rope someone in to stripping it for you!

You could always start with the natural wood look. For the entryway table you bought. And you could paint it black later if you change your mind.
That’s a smart plan!
I would use Resolve - it on your table . It is easy to use and it covers really nice . It comes in several stain colors . I always get the darkest color .It works on all colors of wood . I have used it on several things . Some things looked worse than your table .
I would definitely try stripping it, black would be nice if stripping doesn't work but I'd always wonder what it would look like if you paint it right away!
