12:30 - Swainson's Thrush! My favorite! When I moved to Oregon, I heard this ghostly echo in the forest. I didn't even think that it was a bird - I was just mystified by it - never saw it though. He looks like a toasted marshmallow!
Bringing God's beauty inside..decorating my rooms with birds songs..love to listen while I'm sewing...cant wait to listen to this on a cold snowy winter day..in Wisconsin will surely brighten the days. God Bless you!
I love these bird songs. So beautiful. Takes me back to my childhood. We don't realize what we have until sadly it's gone. The population is down to a startlingly low. I am doing my part to encourage the population growth.
I used to have meadowlarks in my yard every morning. I miss them so much. I moved away and now hear none of them since I’m in the mountains. Hearing them brings back so much nostalgia

Hi, this is so beautiful. Might sound weird, but I (try lol) to chirp in the daytime to birds, at night I hoot, and click to the bats. They Respond!!! I LOVE NATURE, it's very spiritual for me. Thanks for sharing
Nor the canary. Pluss, for some birds they only give very limited example of their variety, from what I read. The mockingbird is a good example. I used to see and hear mockingbirds on utility wires, or prominently in trees, and they would go through a dozen or more different calls they had learned from other birds.
Very young red winged blackbird, that same signature song is much longer & diverse among the experienced. They have been known to sing up to 200 different songs.
Lovely, serene and sane sounds from the animal kingdom. What a pleasure to have this in the background during rest or work. Thank you so much for posting.
If you decide to make another one of these videos, I think you should add the Tufted Titmouse or the Baltimore Oriole. I’ve always loved how those birds sound.
While some would dismiss many of these birds as “plain” and not worth a second look, I find them more beautiful than the more colorful or more elaborately plumed birds. In my opinion, they certainly “sing” better.
I believe "birding" is a lost art. Done away by modernties but what a terrible way of thinking. My son wanted a dog so much but because of our children's activities it wasn't possible. So he endeared himself to our neighborhood ducks and now he has my husband buying him a 40 lb. bag of bird feed and he's attracted doves and blue jays I have never seen in my 15 years of living here. Now he has his eyes set on some parrots. He truly is an animal lover.
To do birds justice you have to put the best bird songs in geographic zones, so many birds missed out. In Europe there's over a dozen great singers and only a few have made it in the 2 videos for instance.
I love the Thrush Nightingale. The solitaire has thrush-like sounds and for me you can't beat a thrush for beautiful sounds, especially the Swainson's. I came here looking for a birdsong I awoke to a couple of days ago and still haven't found it. It was one of the most complicated and intricate songs I've ever heard.
Thank you 🙏 especially Paul Marvin for Sturnella Neglecta , the Meadow Lark. I could listen all day. There was a Latin man, who offered on UA-cam, one hour of meadow lark, high fidelity sound, only, every five minutes his voice would interrupt, saying: this recording is property of, FullAire. He pronounces it: FoolAyree. What a loss , that I can’t find his hour long meadow lark anymore….
The canyon wren is a very interesting song! I would have added the American Robbin, Mourning Dove, California Quail (Gamble Quail), European Cuckoo, South American Bird of Paradise and the California Mocking Bird.
I would love for the hermit thrush, veery, Bicknell's thrush, grey-cheeked thrush, and also our country's (Not official) national animal, the common nightingale to be included for part 3!
You can find Common Nightingale in Part 1 :) All Catharus Thrushes were considered but we descided with Swainson's as the most beautiful. Will certainly bare the others in mind for a future video. Many thanks
The redwing blackbird...one of the songs of my childhood in spring. Any hope of another series with the common Loon included? One of the most haunting bird calls out there (a call up there with wolf howls 😊)
Speaking of haunting calls, let's get a whole video of the amazing sounds ravens make. I miss the 3 that used to fly over me as I walked my dogs down a gravel road, making all sorts of metallic sounds like they were playing with their voices
Who could not sub to your great channel! my budgies are going crazy listening to these pretty birds!
Love this place!!!

Hope you had a good Christmas, happy and healthy new year. Thank you so much Annie

Very pretty, but I've found myself isolated in quarantine listening to birdcalls (am I losing it?) LOL
Not at all, although I do make bird call videos!

Wonderful bird song. A pleasure.
Greetings from a birdwatcher from Norway.
Many thanks!
It's a soothing experience that must be preserved in nature forever. I'm fortunate to have them in my environment. Thanks.
I love their color schemes. They are great fashion inspirators right along with flowers!
Nice, very nice Greetings from Costa Rica
The first one takes me home to Washington. I really do miss the birds, they sang much prettier than where I live now. They just scream at you here!
Such a lovely voice and a welcome song for Spring. Thank you! Best regards, Thomas

I hope you don’t let you cat outside because domestic cats have driven 63 animal species to extinction and threaten nearly 400 more.
My favorite is the black crowned Tchagra! It sounds so beautiful, close second is the song wren!
Thank you so much for the maps.

Perfect to listen to before going to sleep 😴.

I mediate to this one and the first one last thing at night and first thing in the morning. So beautiful❣️👏🏻🌌🌅🎁💖
I live in the coastal part of Texas. So I’m used to hearing Red winged black birds. They’re one of my favorite songbirds. 😁
I found myself in a flock of meadowlarks 50 strong all calling together and it was absolutely symphonic.
Little bird beautiful song. 👍🤗
I do like American robins, too. They start singing early!!

I'm surprised the Northern Mockingbird isn't in either of these videos. It's one of the most beautiful song birds there is.
