Dave was a great guy, sorely missed. It was a privilege to know him and to operate his layouts.

Dave...... Then Verne Miner... We're losing the Masters of this craft, in On30. Beautiful Model.

Sadly, we've lost a couple of more than that...

Busy railroad. That coach driver will soon be looking for a job on the railroad.

Hi James, thanks for your kind comments. Sadly the builder of they layout, David Angell, is no longer with us but here's a link to some of my videos which includes three shorts of the layout. ua-cam.com/users/rogerbegoniavideos

Sadly Dave Angell, the builder of the layout, died a couple of years ago and I'm unable to answer your question. I keep the little train videos going in his memory. - Regards Roger

I believe this was kitbashed from an HO MDC/Roundhouse box cab (I had one way back when I was in HO). It looks like Dave (R.I.P.), redid the roof, the roof details, and it has a Tsunami galloping goose sound decoder in it. This is a very cool model and a great job of kitbashing, I'm sure these MDC box cabs are still around at train shows. They need some tweaking to make them run really nice.

I'm wrong about the decoder, that's a diesel decoder. When I first heard it I thought it was the galloping goose. I just listened to another video of an engine that has the galloping goose in it (the builder of the model stated that in his post). The more I listen to this video, it sounds like and Alco RS3
