This is antique store that has a booth filled with my Mom's wedding/shower gifts. I often run across a piece here or there, but that booth had like 6 of them. (Not the actual gifts, I have those). Fun place.
So davey crockett was born in Tennessee and was famous for his exploration along the American Frontier in1786....where as Daniel Boone was from Pennsylvania in 1736 and opened up Kentucky to colonization and became an American pioneer in case you really wanted to know😊
I remember the waxed Dixie cups. I so enjoy your videos and seeing things from my childhood. Brings back great memories of a much simpler time with family who has since passed.
I love how Mark holds your basket and double checks things for you - my hubby does that for me too. When I go to Estate Sales he follows around and holds stuff I pick and checks them for me - I have ladies ask me "how do I get one of those?" As they are pointing to my hubby holding my stuff LOL 😂
Sorry I couldn’t remember more details at the time but that might be a good thing so you didn’t get a full book report on each because it’s not something I wouldn’t put past myself because I love history
I love Fort Wayne! My favorite place to shop. SO many thrift stores, so little time. We had that big, wooden fork & spoon set in our home, until my older brother broke them over my rear end...left welts.
I can remember I had a stuffed Pammy Panda from Shirt tales 😊 Also, fun fact..when I was in 5th grade Somgmakers (like a choir group), I sang a short solo to the Oscar the Grouch I love trash song lol. My teacher even set up trash cans on the stage for myself and the other that had a solo & we popped up and sang our part 😂
I worked at Keebler who is owned by the Kellogg Company. I played Ernie twice. Once for a 911 fundraiser and once for a St Patrick's Day parade. It was a lot of fun
I just about screeched when I saw that purple bottle with a pointy top for 89.00! I collect those and have been looking for a purple one. I know what you mean about liking the dixie cups. I would have bought those. I collect vingtage kitchen plastic from the 40's, 50's and 60's, and alot of people think that that's strange.
Misty at 24:08 When you say "You look like Buddy Holly" I thought it was him at first, maybe a school photo I somehow hadn't seen, but nope. 🤓 Another great shop with me thanks for sharing!
Saw so many things I have or mom had when I was a kid like the ballerina picture and her guitar dude mom had the amber fairy lamps I have in that green bottle with the topper that you put in your basket I have also I love glass or what a great video I really enjoyed it
Hi Misty, I was in love with the Davy Crockett boy and dog. It was so cute. So was the Murano glass dog. I liked some of the other things you did pick up even though I was sad about the two you didn't. Mark is such a trooper but yall are so cute together and obviously in love. You have great taste by the way. I love when u get the kitschy stuff. We shouldn't always be so serious lol. Take care
so much to catch up on, not had broadband for two weeks! missed you and M.T such a cool place. LOVED the cups. I would have the wisdom board on display. you have great taste why we follow you.
This was fun. Could of spent hours looking around, especially at the vintage toys. The Dixie cups were fun to look at. Didn’t like the spooky dolls at all and glueing the vases onto ashtrays, what were they thinking! Always fun Misty. Mark is such a trooper. My husband would be sleeping in the car🥺
😵💫Glued vases!!! I could see if they were all chipped up maybe...and could definitely tell you were not a fan of the "creepy doll upgrades" 😟lol..this was fun shopping with you guys!! 🤩
You were in my home town. That is one of my favorite places. Would have loved bumping into you. I could tell you were enjoying yourselves. As always, enjoy your videos.
Yes beurre is butter in French. I use mine to make ghee. I have two one flavored with cinnamon which is fantastic on toast and one flavored with herbs and garlic - great for cooking and on French bread
Love all the finds! Aw poor Mark, I get the same way. I always always carry a granola or protein bar with me cause I get seriously hangry. When the blood sugar drops look out! 😄
i always wanted barbie townhouse. mary beth depeter had that. i never had a house for my barbies :( i had a stupid vw thing that they didn't fit in. it was my sister's hand me down.
i walk through those antique malls and do like you. "i always wanted one as a kid." my daughter tells me, "get it." but then i realize that what am I going to do with a pound puppy now. I got Grease playing cards, they just sit on my desk. My Barbies just sit in a box.
I am one of those drawn to old buttons. My mom taught me to sew when I was little and my favorite th8ng to do was look through her jar of buttons. It was an old Plochman's mustard jar. I loved those Dixie cups, too!!lol
They pound puppy sold on eBay for $35. I searched for sealed in package on eBay. I would have bought just to keep. Loved my pound puppies when younger.
I have my younger sons Pound Puppy still. He's 41 now My grandson Matthew loved to cuddle with the Pound Puppy when he was little . Puppy still in great shape
Misty you should start carrying snacks in your purse for Mark. I get hangry when the hunger starts creeping up. I always carry cashews or peanuts. I'm on a diet that's why I don't carry chips or I would.🤦🏿♀️
??? You have on the shirt I want to order from Temu (I think). Do you have a link for that. I have browsed Temu forever…I was going cross eyed. YOU LOOK LOVELY….especially in that shirt.
Misty…you and Mark look so happy and in love for sure. He is such a trooper and participates in your EXCELLENT TASTE.
Thanks so much! ❤️

Your not crazy Misty! I swooned over those Dixie cups! ❤ You have EXCELLENT taste! ❤❤
At the wakeboard park in Orlando Florida watching my grandsons wakeboard 87* I decided to sit in the shade and watch my Misty girl
Oh neat, I live about 40 mins from Ft Wayne.
Mark is a patient shopper. If another man said he was hungry, it means let's checkout and go ( I've had enough of this). ❤
When you come up to Fort Wayne, you need to come to Grabill and go through the antique shops. So quaint and one large building and more!
Daniel Boone was from Berks County, Pennsylvania, and Davey Crockett was from Limestone, Tennessee. Awesome shop a long! Beautiful treasures!
So davey crockett was born in Tennessee and was famous for his exploration along the American Frontier in1786....where as Daniel Boone was from Pennsylvania in 1736 and opened up Kentucky to colonization and became an American pioneer in case you really wanted to know😊
I do like creepy dolls, but not creepy clowns. It was fun watching you shopping. ❣️
Misty I love you but that bracelet is giving me so much anxiety LOL I'm glad you are Nimble fingered
I remember the waxed Dixie cups. I so enjoy your videos and seeing things from my childhood. Brings back great memories of a much simpler time with family who has since passed.
Men do get grumpy when they are hungry! The worst part is they don’t know that they are hungry and you have to remind them to eat lol
I’m stopping the video to say, you like colorful Dixie cups because you’re fun and playful! I like them too!
Misty, Suggestion...Keep a granola bar or something in your purse for Mark when he's hungry while you're shopping.💕
As always, Love your show!
Love your videos! Humor and expertise. So cool to see your husband shopping with you. He's a keeper!
I love going treasure hunting with you, Misty. We don’t have anything like this here.
Daniel Boone lead the way through the Cumberland gap and Davey Crocket was in the war at the Alamo
Sorry I couldn’t remember more details at the time but that might be a good thing so you didn’t get a full book report on each because it’s not something I wouldn’t put past myself because I love history
We met a group of businessmen on a trip in the U.K . One had a badge that said Hi I am Randy 😂 that's a different thing over here.❤
I love Fort Wayne! My favorite place to shop. SO many thrift stores, so little time.
We had that big, wooden fork & spoon set in our home, until my older brother broke them over my rear end...left welts.
I had a Miss No Name doll when I was a kid. I didn't play with it much and my mom trashed it. Who knew she would be so expensive now. 😳
I can remember I had a stuffed Pammy Panda from Shirt tales 😊 Also, fun fact..when I was in 5th grade Somgmakers (like a choir group), I sang a short solo to the Oscar the Grouch I love trash song lol. I can’t believe they ruined that vase !!! 💯% support your decision to cancel that booth 🤣🤣
I worked at Keebler who is owned by the Kellogg Company. I played Ernie twice. Once for a 911 fundraiser and once for a St Patrick's Day parade. It was a lot of fun
that is a really smart idea with the black light with the desk lamp.
You like them because they are fun and colorful just like you ❤

That character was Howdy Doody.

Niloak is Kaolin backwards and the kaolin used to make those pieces most likely came from Georgia.
Love the skunk and Davey Crockett
If you fill that planter with cleaning vinegar and let it sit for a half hour or so, it will remove the calcium build up.
My mom would buy the bathroom size Dixie cups.
Yes beurre is butter in French. I use mine to make ghee. I have two one flavored with cinnamon which is fantastic on toast and one flavored with herbs and garlic - great for cooking and on French bread
Sounds great!
I had that Barbie Townhouse!

Davy Crockett fought at the Alamo with James Bowie, and both died at the Alamo. Daniel Boone explorer of Kentucky.
I have to laugh that Mark is always hungry when you shop together! Maybe you should eat a huge breakfast, then shop.😂
So true!
All the neat nativity scenes ! There was a small one by the tree topper angels. I was waiting for you to tell the price
Really enjoy your shopping vlogs. Thanks for sharing the experience.
Glad you like them! Thank you!

💕
Daniel Boone did not wear a Raccoon skin cap, but rather a Beaver skin cap, he thought it was more stylish.
Big boy looked like an oompa loompa
I don't like the creepy dolls, another fun video 😊
curious how to clean the snowbabies. mine have dust/smoke/tar build up
I use my hair dryer, but mainly just run them under water.
He’s a weasel not a chinchilla!!!!!! Howdy Doody was the other guy!
Mark is a keeper 👍
the creepy booth was pretty extra
Misty who sings your theme song?
It was originally sung by Sophie Tuckers. This version is a rendition from Soundstripe, a music app I use for my videos.
