You are so wise to make your surroundings the way you want them to make you feel good about your space. I was a teacher and cannot tell you how many bulletin boards and walls I painted, how much furniture and lighting I brought from home and how much rearranging I did to make the classrooms feel good to me. Happy teacher, happy kids?
I wish you well in your new adventure. You have the vision of your space in your mind, and getting rid of the clutter will free you up to do the creative stuff. I love to spend time with you each day, but it hurts my heart when you are feeling *less-than* or frantic. You just said many people in your town are into primitives. Put them in your window with a sign telling people to leave you email or text messages to buy them. Schedule times that are convenient for you so they can pick them up. There are probably many people that pass by your windows and wish they could buy the things they see. Couldn't hurt.
"This bucket of rusty metal...no. Meat Grinder...No! No rolling pins! No primatives! No baby buggies!" 🤣🤣🤣 I would round all of that stuff up and send it with the things going to auction and be done with them.

I’m so excited for you and your new venture! Once your environment is less chaotic, your anxiety will improve greatly! It would be fun for you to one day have a “rent a shelf” day for small sellers to feature their items. I wish I lived closer, I’d love to visit your shop when it opens!

I have been screwed over because I have a big heart n try to help people out , but in turn I have quit making cakes and sweets for “ people “ because I have delivered cakes that have taken me weeks and people have told me they’d pay me on Friday and then I was blocked n deleted.. so I have trust issues with people trying to be friends with me because when they find out what I can do.. they use me.. sorry for my rant. I feel watching you Misty makes me feel better.❤❤❤

One more thought: everything you purchase would have to really matter in order to fit in your travel home. It would be a wonderful way to declutter my life.

You're such an inspiration! I started my ebay store in the covid season, and as a beginner, I ended up accumulating so much "dead" inventory. LOL. Now I need to purge that inventory, but I'm overwhelmed and have to figure out how to do it. Ugh! I thought of taking all of it to auction, but don't even know where to start with that. Man! Misty I can really relate to that overwhelming feeling when there is too much stuff in your space, home, building! For me it my basement 😮 I have 24 years worth of lots of stuff and it clutters my mind and i feel unsettled. I am my husbands caregiver and its been kinda hard to be motivated to even start to organize and condense plus throw out, sorry Misty I digress. Love that $10 box-what a SCORE! The transformation of your shop is overwhelming when you think about it all the way to completion. Take it in steps as it will bring less anxiety. The top of the mountain seems way too high. When standing on the first step the second and third step are reachable and so on.

MY one cat Chip, HATES the carrier and it is such a production to get him in his when we have to go to the vet. Pop up mall sounds GREAT, Good Luck! Mystery box was really worth it.
I spent all day thrifting & I thought, "Misty would be so proud of me!" I came home will a full box of items; including a Napco ceramic lamb vase & a Norcrest anniversary set for 33¢ each!! The shop plans sound like so much fun. I know what you mean about being tired of being surrounded by stuff that's Meh. I started to redecorate my sunroom and am going all out on whatever makes my colorful heart happy(you've seen the Kit Cat clock wall already haha!). That room is my happy place and if feels great to be surrounded by things you love. Go for it girly! You are there nearly everyday and it'll be such a joy to walk in and refreshed and not burdened. I really hope to be able to make it to the pop-up(s)!!!

The reason I started watching your channel and other channels is that you all are so darn positive and it's infectious. If I'm around positivity and optimism I find my mood and outlook are positive. I'm not a fan of primitives either so good idea to get rid of them somehow and surround yourself with things you love to sell. Not that I'll be anywhere near Indiana but maybe have the 2nd sale in September and load up with autumn and Halloween items. That's when I start looking for stuff like that (although here fall & Halloween start coming out in JULY and I'm late.... boo 🍁🍂🎃)
