what about half a cat family?🤭 We keep 3 kitten brothers from a stray cat that we captured.❤ We keep mommy too. they play together, sleep together. eat together. they are so sweet❤the vet thinks mommy is 4 years old
I was always so amused about my cat and snap being pretty much the same age cause me and simsie are also close in age and our sisters too. But then my cat died at almost 14 to a rapidly growing tumor... Like we were at the vet Thursday for a x-ray scan cause she's had problems pooping for a while and they said "she's fine and probably gonna live a few more years" and on Saturday she was so bloated from the tumor (previously so small that no one saw it) and had to get put to sleep Monday

Yeah. I had a cat on my front porch about a year ago that came right inside when I called her. She wasn't chipped and no one in the area was reporting her missing. Thank you, Kayla, for saying you'd introduce them to Snap very, very slowly. I see way too many videos of people introducing their cats to kittens just straight up face-to-face and the adult cat hissing at the kitten while the kitten is terrified. And then the person not even instantly separating them when the adult hisses and the kitten doesn't back off. So it's nice to see someone actually care about the cats and doing things the right way
Oh no! A cat hissed?! Do you even know what that means? It can mean many things. You can introduce cats face to face and very quickly. You can also introduce them very slowly. It really just depends on the cats involved. Snap already knows they're there.. even if she's old she has a sense of smell that's higher than ours. People always act like you need to take months to introduce new animals but you really don't unless they were feral.
@@Eventide215 You can always think that you know your pet perfectly but at the end of the day, you don't. They're animals that are driven by instinct. Even the sweetest, most gentle cat and turn around and kill a kitten. Cats are super territorial and a hiss can turn to claws and teeth in a second. And even if it is just a hiss, it's still not okay. The kitten will be scared and confused and that's not fair to the kitten. And the adult cat will be angry and stressed. @@TessuDrawsYou're also an animal driven by instinct. You can't ever know anything about any person in the world so I guess we should never introduce ourselves to people? Slowly do it over the course of months? Again, it depends on the person. I'm extremely territorial and don't want people just coming onto my property. I know that about me. I also know my dog is extremely happy to see anyone and any animal as long as I say so. If you don't know your own animal you're a terrible owner. As for a hiss, that can be *many* different things. It also won't just terrify a kitten. They know what hissing is and what it means. Cats communicate with each other through many means. You can introduce your animals in whatever way you want, but you can't admonish everyone for doing it in a different way from you. I've had many cats and many dogs and have never had any issue with them being stressed out or causing issues. Why? Because I know my animals. I know what they will tolerate and what they won't.
it's really a great call to keep them paired like that! kittens having a young friend or sibling (or parent!) is really important to their socialization and keeps them happy and active and less destructive! : ) really great work! may and june are what is often called kitten season where stray and feral cats all start having lots of babies, and shelters have a hard time accommodating them during that time - you being their foster was a really lovely idea.
Kayla and Dan are such sweethearts for fostering these poor babies. Thank you so much Kayla and Dan! Best wishes for you both, Frank(ie)and her babies ❤
WOW as someone who is obsessed with the Sims, been fostering kittens for 3 years, and started vet tech school this year, I am so happy about all of this
This is so funny, in the beginning of the year we also fed a black stray cat that always came to our door. The she started to get bigger and we thought it’s because of the food (she was very thin before). But she actually was pregnant! Took her to the vet and they said that she is pregnant with 7!! babies. We took her in and then 1,5 Months later she gave birth to 7 healthy babies and it was such a amazing experience seeing them grow and play🥹 they all found a home outside ours and we kept one! He’s now 4 months🥰 he always plays with our house cat cookie😂
So cute!! Clearly Frankie knows that you and your family are good people and she could trust you with her babies 🥰 Also, Frankie and the Sewer Cats would be an excellent band name
As someone who's volunteered at an animal shelter and seen many cases like this it makes me so happy to see you and your family taking such amazing care of these little ones. You can tell they're healthy and happy ❤
I took my 6 month old kitten in to be spayed and they told me she was actually just going into her first heat. Just a baby. So yeah, Frankie can be under a year old and have three kittens. Very glad you found them. She obviously picked the right family to bring her kittens to.
Reminds me of my own black cat, Phoebe who is a rescue. She is 15-16 years old now but she got out when she was 2 and ended up having 4 babies, 3 boys and 1 girl. They were named Rhino (because he kept charging and headbutting into his siblings like a Rhinoceros) Monkey (because he climbed literally everything) and Taz (because he had the constant zoomies) and the girl was Princess, because obviously my cat is the Queen and she was just as vain as her mother grooming herself in front of a mirror all the time. They were all adopted and their names probably changed, all the boys but not Princess, who was adopted with one of the boys by a dad who said he was getting the kittens for his two kids, a son and daughter. ❤
I have a foster kitten right now as well, and we seriously think someone just dumped her on the side of the road, because she came right up to my mom when she found her, and immediately became attached to us. It’s so sad to me that someone would do that to her when she’s literally the sweetest little baby :(
If the mama cat was that gentle, it could be a sign that she did once have an owner or at least was used to being around people. She could be a cat that is missing. Mine went missing for a year and a half after she accidentally got out because a kid left the door open. and someone found her and brought her to the vet. She was microchipped, which is how the vet was able to contact us and let us know they found her. Aside from a tiny frostbite on one of her ears, she was in really good condition. So we're pretty sure she had been taken in for a while. I was so happy to have her back. I was 12 at the time and I still have her. And i'm twenty five now. I also have another cat that looks exactly like the mama cat. He's fine he's chilling in my window.
i'm a few months away from graduating with a master's degree in animal behavior and welfare, and here's my opinion: you're doing everything right! you're using your observations of their behavior to help guide the decisions you make for them, listening to qualified veterinary professionals on their guidance, being attentive to changes in their behavioral patterns, and of course loving them with all your heart. i know it's easy to worry that you're not doing the right things, especially with The Internet being the way it is, but you and your family know these kitties best! you're doing amazing, kayla!
Thank you to you and your family for looking out for Frankie and her babies. She definitely knew human love as a tiny kitten or she wouldn’t be so friendly now. She’s still a kitten now. Babies having babies. One less kitty making more kitties thanks to y’all. What precious little voids! Sam is going to be fluffier I think. Funny that the big boy is named Shrimp 😂
And I honestly believe cats know where they’ll be safe and find their way there. I’m thrilled Frankie will stay with your sister. They whole furry family is very lucky!
Keep the updates coming! Also re the University student thing. I kinda agree. When I was in Uni there were SO MANY students that adopted cats they couldn't take care of/couldn't keep. Thankfully, of the ones I knew about they all ended up in good homes (parents mostly) but university students keeping cats they ultimately can't take care of is unfortunately a very real thing.
This is so heartwarming to see! As a volunteer at my local animal shelter it makes me so happy to see that you are taking such great care of these little cats! There are so many stray cats that never get homes and never get properly cared for and it breaks my heart. I love that you are doing this and keep us updated!!!! This is so cute!!!! ❤
maybe you can make a build for the kitties, each room representing what you see in their pursonalities? and its nice to have a game break, less editing. glad you are taking care of them and judging from the looks in their eyes they are happy and comfortable.
I’ve heard the story several times on stream, but it still makes me cry. They’re so precious, and Shanna (all of you, really) are kitty rescue heroes! I’m so glad it worked out the way it did. Love to all of you! Happy birthday!
A mother cat can totally have kittens at a year old; the mother of our two cats had them at that age. Also, Frankie and her little cuddle voids are so precious!
As someone who rescued two kittens (found them under a car in the summer), watching them grow up together is the cutest thing. Unlike other cats, they’ll snuggle together and play together it’s so cute. If you’re going to keep any kittens I really think it should be all three (if you’re able to) but if you can’t, giving one or two to your parents also works
I have two black kitties and watching this video made me so happy - my babies are also gutter/sewer cats and I remember them being so little and being so proud of how well behaved my stinky gutter babies behaved during vet visits (Multiple visits because I was always so worried about their health) watching this made me think about when mine were little tiny babies running around and causing chaos and then passing out on my lap for some pretty serious nap time. It was so fun to watch them grow into big beautiful housecats (who still cause chaos - just a little less than they used to) ❤
OMG THEY’RE SO CUTE!! I can’t believe she had babies so young! The cat distribution system is really doing it’s thing, so glad the kitties have an amazing family to take care of them ☺️ I have a black kitten and he is a menace so good luck 😂
Bless you for taking the little ones in. My cat is a rescue and I know what it takes to rescue strays. People have to understand not to jump to conclusions. If I was there I would certainly adopt one but alas I am across the country. But I am sending prayers from a fellow cat mom
I love content like this. My husband and I have almost 3 acres of land and we have 12 cats. Most of them were strays we rescued that were in bad condition and the others we adopted from shelters. We bought them an Aluminum loft shed and did the insulation, dry wall, electrical, flooring, painted the walls, did the outside decking and steps and created them wall mounts to attach beds to the walls. They love their space.
We had one put in our yard and my son found it while working on his vehicle. 3 months old now and loving all the fun he brought. It's so sad these things happen. Wish people cared more. Your kittens and Frankie are adorable. Enjoy. Such love.
Watching this with my own foster kittens snuggling in my lap 😊 they're so cute! Don't feel obligated to keep them, the greatest joy and worst part of keeping foster cats is giving them up for adoption. If you do keep them though, kittens are the cutest thing ever, and congrats!
Please don't say sorry for such a cuuuuuuutte cat content! I'm happy you and your family are taking care of the cats. That's so adorable. Its fun how you told that on stream and then it happened for real, that happens to me a lot too, when I say something and later what I wished or said happens, idk why but that happens a lot to me
This is so uplifting! My cat has FIC! It’s more common in male and orange cats (like mine), but possible in any cat. Diet and meds help, but cat comfort is key! You’re a good egg, Kayla.
I recently rescued a older stray after two weeks of feeding and gaining trust I managed to bring her to a vet, she had broken teeth and a hernia in her belly and went on to be adopted by the sweetest old lady. Brings me to tears everytime i think about how long she was living on the streets abandoned. So glad you helped these kitties and that you are able to keep them you are doing a great job Kayla trust me. Introduce them slowly and don't give up, i used garden mesh to block off my spare room door when I was introducing my new kitten to my older cat so they could see each other and get used to each other, and definately keep at least two, Snaps not gonna have the energy to deal with a kitten when they get too playful. Great job and good luck XD

these kitties couldn’t have fallen into better hands, im so happy for you guys! what a cute kitty family 😊
One of the many reasons why we love Kayla ❤
Too many to count tbh.
Cats can actually get pregnant as early as four months old sadly. Spay and neuter is critical ❤thanks for rescuing these sweet void bbs!
please continue with the kitten updates, we need to be kept up to date with these babies 🥹🥹🥹
So cute!! Clearly Frankie knows that you and your family are good people and she could trust you with her babies 🥰 Also, Frankie and the Sewer Cats would be an excellent band name
Just lost my 23 year old dog to, well, old age so this is comforting seeing someone care for animals like this, so thank you.
so sorry for your loss and 23 is crazy! glad they had a long life ❤ my deepest condolences
23 years for a dog is an amazing age, so you must be a wonderful pet parent. I’m so sorry for your loss.
As someone who's volunteered at an animal shelter and seen many cases like this it makes me so happy to see you and your family taking such amazing care of these little ones. You can tell they're healthy and happy ❤
I will always believe cats and dogs know they're being saved and are happy to have it happen.
I rescued my black cat 7 years ago he was also abandoned near ucf 😭 so glad you saved these cuties! 🖤💛
I took my 6 month old kitten in to be spayed and they told me she was actually just going into her first heat. Just a baby. So yeah, Frankie can be under a year old and have three kittens. Very glad you found them. She obviously picked the right family to bring her kittens to.
Kayla, you are such an angel! I'm so happy the kitties found you and your kind family. ❤
I hope they have a great life!
I hope you keep them all in your family! It would be so cute! I’m glad that you were able to save them!!
i'm a few months away from graduating with a master's degree in animal behavior and welfare, and here's my opinion: you're doing everything right! you're using your observations of their behavior to help guide the decisions you make for them, listening to qualified veterinary professionals on their guidance, being attentive to changes in their behavioral patterns, and of course loving them with all your heart. i know it's easy to worry that you're not doing the right things, especially with The Internet being the way it is, but you and your family know these kitties best! you're doing amazing, kayla!
Yes Frankie is an angel, but you're also an angel for taking such good care of these cats❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
as someone with 9 dogs this hits home, currently fostering a dog and her four pups plus my own dogs ❤ fostering is amazing!!
as an ex-shelter volunteer and employee, its really lovely to see so many black cats taken care of so well
The cat distribution system is at work!! I'm so happy for you Kayla, they're so cute
maybe you can make a build for the kitties, each room representing what you see in their pursonalities? and its nice to have a game break, less editing. glad you are taking care of them and judging from the looks in their eyes they are happy and comfortable.
Such cuties! Hope they all continue to do alright.
Cuddle voids! 🥺
Much like humans cats are sexually mature before they're fully grown. I've met an 8 month old mama cat. Spay and neuter your pets!!
They can get pregnant at 4 months. Two of the kitten strays I took in were pregnant.
Ah yes, I saw a UA-cam video about that
As someone who rescued two kittens (found them under a car in the summer), watching them grow up together is the cutest thing. Unlike other cats, they’ll snuggle together and play together it’s so cute. If you’re going to keep any kittens I really think it should be all three (if you’re able to) but if you can’t, giving one or two to your parents also works
She trusted you & your family to take care of hers!
The cat distribution system is really doing it’s thing, so glad the kitties have an amazing family to take care of them ☺️ I have a black kitten and he is a menace so good luck 😂
the adoption plan is PERFECT! just the most ideal way, i'm so happy!
i love the mama so much she'll be so well loved
Came for the Simsie, stayed for the kitty content.
The good thing about having your family members adopt the other ones is that they can still see each other.
Aww, thanks for taking care of them!
Shrimp, Snap, and Sunny, a (hopefully) dynamic trio
cannot believe that me and kayla both have kittens rn. this is the closest i’ll ever get to her but this is a slay in my book
Bless you for taking the little ones in. My cat is a rescue and I know what it takes to rescue strays. People have to understand not to jump to conclusions. If I was there I would certainly adopt one but alas I am across the country. But I am sending prayers from a fellow cat mom
So happy for all the kitties that they found a great home❤
I love content like this. My husband and I have almost 3 acres of land and we have 12 cats. Most of them were strays we rescued that were in bad condition and the others we adopted from shelters. We bought them an Aluminum loft shed and did the insulation, dry wall, electrical, flooring, painted the walls, did the outside decking and steps and created them wall mounts to attach beds to the walls. They love their space.
This just goes to show that you are one of the most kind hearted people out there
It makes me so happy to see a UA-camr fostering kittens and doing everything right❤
Omg! You should keep them even though it might be too much but you know who does foster animals Joey he has golden retrievers right now!
We had one put in our yard and my son found it while working on his vehicle. 3 months old now and loving all the fun he brought. It's so sad these things happen. Wish people cared more. Your kittens and Frankie are adorable. Enjoy. Such love.
What a good cat foster mom! Good job being a great friend to your animals. :)
Watching this with my own foster kittens snuggling in my lap 😊 they're so cute! Don't feel obligated to keep them, the greatest joy and worst part of keeping foster cats is giving them up for adoption. If you do keep them though, kittens are the cutest thing ever, and congrats!
NO! ONE MORE REASON TO LOVE LILSIMSE! GOD KAYLA GIVE US A BREAK.
I love following these on Twitch and I'm so happy UA-cam now knows about it 😆
Please don't say sorry for such a cuuuuuuutte cat content! I'm happy you and your family are taking care of the cats. That's so adorable. Its fun how you told that on stream and then it happened for real, that happens to me a lot too, when I say something and later what I wished or said happens, idk why but that happens a lot to me
I'm excited to see them on the cat cam on streams!! 🤗💕
This is so uplifting! My cat has FIC! It’s more common in male and orange cats (like mine), but possible in any cat. Diet and meds help, but cat comfort is key! You’re a good egg, Kayla.
i read '3 kittens' and gasped. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Saaaaaaaame 🤩🤩🤩
