If I was a dad, I wouldn't mind this. It would be reasonable to introduce my son to the doom franchise in a slow and steady, yet reasonable pace. I would start by easing him in with Mighty Doom. Pretty tame, simple game, easy to get into, and of course cartoony graphics to keep the kid from becoming traumatized (you can even change the color of the blood of the settings, so that should make things even more easier). Next, as he grows up and matures, I would start introducing him to the real stuff. Now this part would be a little difficult for me. I'm not sure where I would continue. Should I show him the classic doom games Doom 1993, Doom II, and Doom 64 to show him where it all began and how it was like back in the day for those 90s kids? Or should I ease him in more by showing him something modern and closer to Mighty Doom and just straight up jump into Doom 2016 or Eternal? Either way, Mighty Doom seems like a nice game to introduce anyone to the franchise, even those who have never heard of Doom in their lives.
Shows you the love ID has for their games. Sure some missteps and mistakes are always gonna happen. But they love these games. So mick Gordon or not. They're gonna make their soundtrack rock as best they can. And this fucken rocks
You know it's kinda crazy how they made the games soundtrack so good. You can hear the doom music, but it's a little different considering it's more arcade. I really like how they found a way to make it work. Of course, it's not as good as DOOM music but very nice.
Even the soundtrack in Doom 2016 was just like that. Mick Gordon would take the music from the older games and incorporate the same feel in the music. He even worked in the Doom 3 theme into one of the songs.
Yeah but saying it's not as good as doom music is like saying Spiderman no way home isn't spider man 2. Like yeah no nothing is gonna beat spiderman 2, so it didn't try. It did its own thing and it was fucking awesome at it.
When the Slayer meets Doomguy, they don't care that they are the same person. They only have one goal. Making sure the demons pay for what they did to Daisy. E1M1 never dies, no matter how many times it gets redone, the original will always live on, but that doesn't stop the new ones from being good. But still, there is always Ole reliable.
No matter what version of doom ,from classic doom to mighty doom ,the music of doom awakens you the psycho killer mode... And it's really fun to play it imagine i follow doom since 1994. Don't forget also I really fan of quake franchise as well. Doom and quake are brother games.
There is nothing psychotic about killing for the proper reasons. Are you telling me you sympathize with mindless beasts, literal demons at that? I can tell you as far as Hell goes there is nothing sentient until the lowest reaches of the pit, and you'll long have since gone mad before and if you even reach that level.
@@nintendude794 Nope, it was *Joshua Richardson.* Mick Gordon's gone for good from the DOOM Franchise, and Bobby Prince Only composed the soundtrack for the very first two games
Damn this is good but not as good as the og but I do like how the mighty doom theme has that arcade vibe to it also how it has some of doom 1993 mixed in with eternal
This is your 10 years old son getting into doom franchise
A mini doom fan

@@crashingblow3753 think og game are better to start with because he will learn what makes games fun
@@mcelfy1006 You are right.
Just imagine doom slayer has a son and then they just fight together, it would be awesome, but I’m sure it won’t happen
I love how you can hear Opening to Hell at some point in here, like it's At Eternal's Gate 2.0.
Hello Brochacho
I like how you can hear Icon of Sin's whistle subtly placed in there.
Even if it's a mobile game, Doom is still DOOM.
It is these sound track which makes this cute little game feel like Doom.
It’s modern DOOM’s music specialty: Sneaking Classic DOOM pieces into the new tracks.
you can still tell that they went all out on the soundtrack even tho its a mobile game.
I THOUGHT THAT BASTARD WAS DEAD
yeah its reealllly subtle
Whoever made the music understood their assignment perfectly. E1M1, Icon of Sin wistle and Mick Gordon synth wrapped in a slightly arcady package.
1:46 i can not find a way to explain it no matter how hard i try but these little echoing notes make this part feel so much better
Most def!
Best part
5:36 I love this part, it's so heavy, quite the DOOM experience
this goes so much harder than a mobile phone game has any business going
I mean this is for a F2P mobile game.... THIS SLAPS!

@@therainbowraccoon3620 This game was developed by alpha dog, not id software.
Although alpha dog devs are 100% fans of the doom franchise.

1:27 my fav part.
I love how the Guitar emerges from the Rest.
Kinda wish this soundtrack gets used for a proper Doom Eternal Deathmatch.
But alas, ‘tis but a fool’s dream…
There's a death match mod, so it is possible
I've never imagined that combining Doom 2's final boss theme/Doom Eternal main menu with Doom 3 main menu would sound so epic.
From Eternal to Mighty
Yup

Man... It's perfect
doom is doom, idc wut others say "oh this is just doom music lite"; doom is doom
