I only want the hub. I hope they sell it separate, or a keypad version at some point. For me, there is no need for that giant tablet thing. Omg!
It makes sense to me for them to sell it separate, maybe have a keycard or just a LPR only gate version which doesn't need the whole screen setup, but I have not seen anything one way or the other. Here's hoping. Thanks for commenting!
I hope they do, I got 3 Intercom paired with the v1 door controller and kinda work but its kinda annoying that they don't launch/inform the plan for this gate controller bundle, if I knew the was coming I would have waited.
we are in the middle of evaluating gate opening devices and this came at the perfect time. We looked at several other LPR gate access devices and the cost of some of them is insane compared to this!
Perfect timing! I am in the same boat, I have a community center I am wiring and they have 2 gates with 2 doors on each and the entire rest of the stack is Ubiquiti so this is perfect. I will be filming the install so stay tuned
Hi, I have a few more questions. Firstly, is it possible to have 2 access points for driving in somewhere plus one for driving out? So can you put a switch on the top 4 R45 sockets to get more options for placing access parts? And then the second question is whether there is a possibility of connecting an electric key switch to the access points to open the gate? 😅
Are you able to connect the intercom viewer and if so, will you be able to open the two doors individually from it (gate and side door, for example). The picture of the intercom viewer it only shows one unlock button.

I need an Intercom on the entry and exist sides of the gate. Can I connect two Intercomms to one gate hub for a single gate? Or do I need two hubs?
I did a short where I tested this. You can have 2 intercoms connected to the same gate hub: Plug 2 Ubiquiti intercoms into one gate hub

Can you have a keypad connected to both reader inputs?
We'd like to pin code in and pin code out plus also intercom on both sides of the gate
Lucky for you I have 2 of them. Let me adopt the second keypad and see if it will work
Good news it works! I will record a video soon showing it off. You can have 2 keypads connected to the same hub and have the intercom on both sides of the gate for intercom and keypad access 😁
