You should definitely look at the northern suburbs along the Top End of 285. Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody are all really nice! Alpharetta is up 400 but its super nice with lots to do.
I miss Dunwoody. I moved there in 96 after the Olympics. I wished I had never moved away. I moved back home after 9 11 happened and boy was that a mistake.
I have no idea where I saw it originally, but there was a vague picture in my head of a highway with a skyline in the background at night and just had a feeling it was Atlanta for some reason. That’s the exact picture that was in my head
For whatever reason folks get confused about this in my city lmao. People make full stops at blinking yellow lights and wait for me at a blinking red light.
Me my wife and daughter are moving to Atlanta in a few weeks and I can't wait because my older sister lives there and we are going to be working for her business
Buckhead skyline is pretty dope too although smaller. It's basically part of Atlanta. Still in the metro area. That's where the famous lenox mall is at
So just a small clarification 😊. The city limits of Atlanta has half a million residents, however the metro Atl area (which would include the suburbs as most people in Atl live in suburbs) has a population of 6 + million residents. Nice drive!
Everytime you went by the Marietta sign, I kept thinking y'all are so close to me. I'm 17 miles from Marietta. About 45 minute's to Atlanta. I was tickled how excited y'all got when you saw the skyline of Atlanta. You should see it right before Christmas, or on New years Eve and 4th of July with fireworks everywhere. It's so magical. I'm from a little town north of here originally, (Blairesville) in the mountains. You guys would love it up there. I've literally moved 84 times since I was 17 and I still have another one to go. I'm heading to Florida, I need hotter weather and more beach time. Have you been past 6 Flags yet? I'm not far from there. Have fun and stay safe...Both of you guys 😜

Memories of driving with my mom to the airport, and falling in love with the scenery of ATL. I love living there
atlanta is such an amazing city to be in!
Only issue is the traffic
I just got accepted into the Georgia Film Academy and I cant wait to move to Atlanta later this fall!
Damn. Congrats.

37:45 Driving south, almost on the connector, where I-85 mergers onto I-75 is the best driving skyline view of the city.
When I was trucking, I'd always find a way to drive through the skyline. LOL
@@thebabbler8867 Good move! 18 wheels??? They usually have to travel on 285, around the city.

1. Miami
2. Charlotte
3. Austin
