True. This was Park 1. I'm still trying to get used to this machine. I did test it in the river Fri and it was exceptional at finding non-ferrous targets among the iron!
Hello, Bill and thank you for the comment! Yes, I have found some variation due to that too. It's strange how different soil types and depth can change the number. Good luck on your hunts!
Just got my 900 for Christmas. Thanks for the video, as the numbers will help. You do a great job of explaining! Keep up the good work!!!
Congratulations on your new machine and good luck on your hunts! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Nice demonstration my friend, very interesting!
Thanks, AMP!

Thanks for taking the time to put this together!
My pleasure. Thank you for watching and commenting! Good luck on your hunts
Just did the same thing last night, then just saw your video. Similar results. Love the 900. Was on a xterra705 for the last 12 years.
Cool. I'm used to the Nox800 so this is quite the transition. Thanks for watching!
Hey TC
Great information. Thank you for sharing. Much appreciated 👍. Great video. Enjoyed it thanks. G.
Thanks, Gregg!
Thanks Treasure Charger! I always wondered what the numbers meant in your videos!!
Well, I have to re-learn these numbers as my other machine only goes to 40 and this one goes to 99. It's quite a shift in thinking
Good info, Rich.❤
Thank you, Cynthia!
dont plan on using the 900 anytime soon but i watched anyway!!! gr8 video rich.
Thanks, Shane! I needed a starting point so I figured might as well share the test!
I am amazed at the coins you have, Bravo 👏 🙌
Maria, I forgot to test the IHP! Oops
@@Treasure-Charger ☺☺👍
Thanks Treasurer Charger
Thank you, Brian!
those numbers will change slightly depending on what setting you are using (field vs park mode)

Thank you, Daniel!
interesting how some different metals are in the similar ranges
the pull tab and gold ring are the same. GRRRR! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the educational video. Be nice if they did a software update to the 800 to make them match.
Great idea! Maybe they will offer that someday.
Thanks!
Thank you, Hap!
Were you using 5 tones or all tones? Seems my vdi numbers will change slightly when I use different tones. Thanks for the info
Hello, Gene. I just used the factory settings on Park1, no iron. I should have mentioned the settings in the video.
Happen to have tried an Indian head penny yet? Wondering what they are
I just tested that and it rang 49 open-air test. I had some but forgot to add that one to the video. Good luck on your hunts!
My Indian head pennies show up between 60-65
@@patrickdolan. I might have tested a Fatty IHP. They ring up 16 on the Nox800 where a regular IHP is a 18/19.
Thanks but to let you know the deeper the coin and gold the lower the number is except for some silver coins. 👍

Great information but considering I am a complete amateur, I would need a lot of training.
JC, I learn something every time out. These machines are way smarter than I!
