  • Recipe:-
    -Hesaru Kaalu Dosa-
    *Ingredients:*
    - 1 glass hesaru kaalu (green gram or moong dal), soaked for 2-3 hours
    - 4 green chilies
    - 1-inch piece of ginger
    - Little chopped coriander leaves
    - Little curry leaves
    - Salt to taste
    - Oil for cooking
    - 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
    *Instructions:*
    1. Drain the soaked hesaru kaalu.
    2. In a blender, grind the soaked hesaru kaalu, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and salt to a smooth batter, adding a little water.
    3. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and mix well.
    4. Heat a non-stick pan or a dosa tawa on low heat.
    5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
    6. Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until the bottom turns golden brown.
    7. Flip the dosa and cook the other side until it's cooked through and crispy.
    8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
    9. Serve hot with chutney.
    - Coconut Chutney-
    *Ingredients:*
    - 1/2 bowl coconut powder
    - 1 tsp roasted chana dal
    - 2 green chilies
    - 4 dry red chilies
    - Little tamarind
    - Curry leaves
    - 2 cloves of garlic
    - Salt to taste
    *Instructions:*
    1. Blend all the coconut chutney ingredients mentioned above to a fine paste.
    Enjoy your Hesaru Kaalu Dosa with coconut chutney!
