  • Decades ago, people used to gather at traditional teahouses unlike today's youth who gather in cafes. But globalization and modernity have made it difficult for these teahouses to thrive, and the culture might soon die. CCTVNews visited a traditional teahouse that has stood the test of time in Southwest China’s Chengdu, Sichuan Province, which still maintains its old-school charm.
