New to the channel but I love the idea. More importantly, I was once involved in a start-up business that bootstrapped itself into existence by taking old PCs and parts and making them into systems for resale, exactly like this. It raised enough money to launch the business, which had nothing to do with computers. That was just how the starting money was raised. They are still in business and profitable almost 25 years later. From humble beginnings, great things can grow. I wish you that same kind of luck.
Thanks for joining the pc rehab my dude! So happy to have you here! Yeah I loved this concept and this is just the first season! More to come and more good flips coming out soon!
The series has progressed so fast
Yeah we are moving right along
This may be the dumbest question(s) on this video....or any really haha. What are you spraying on the board to clean it and how to do ensure its dry before using?
its just isopropyl alcohol so it dries quickly and it’s nonconductive
99% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol.
Forgot about non conductive products like that. I was so confused
your level of depth and professionalism in the way everything is filmed and edited is awesome for how small your channel is. mega underrated
Are you entertained ? , yes i am , great work , just binged your build up series .
Haha that is awesome! Glad you are enjoying the series so far! Got some fun ones in the works so stick around 🫶
what is the product that you spray on the gpu for cleaning 4:55 (is it water?)??
99% medical grade isopropyl alcohol. Evaporates fast and disinfects 👍
Best series on all youtube in 2023! Great show man!
Thank you so much!! So happy you are enjoying it!
I love the fact that you actually take the time and properly refurbish the used parts you buy. You likely gave that 1070 a few more years of operation alone by just cleaning it and re-pasting it. I wouldn't be opposed to selling you my old system when I get my new ITX build done.
Love the videos man keep up the great work! The content is only going to keep getting better!
Thanks! Will do!
What was the blue solution that you sprayed down the GPU with around the 5:00 mark?
It’s 99% isopropyl alcohol. The bottle is just a little blue
@@ThePcRehab Thanks! I kind of figured it out later in the vid, looked like a windex bottle the first time I saw it. Really appreciate the videos. The detailing you do on the parts to make your builds look factory clean is really impressive
Thank you! Yeah I try my best to make sure every piece is 100% clean. It just gives that extra punch to the overall look of every system
Man 1070ti and i7 - 4790k is still a solid combination . That was my dream cpu and gpu wayback 2014
Still fully capable for a great gaming system for sure.
Huh so this is like a 4090 for 2034 then?
Awesome video. Really loving this series and the channel
Thank you man! Glad you are enjoying it!
How did you set up the 5 inch screen that you installed in the PSU bay.
When you find the perfect channel for your refurb fetish. The quality of these videos is so much higher compared to the view count. He deserves triple the base he currently has.
Well I appreciate that a ton man! I am happy that you found the channel! Hopefully to content never disappoints!
What are you spraying over the GPU at 5:00
99% medical grade isopropyl alcohol. Evaporates fast and disinfects 👍
Hey, I just recently came across your channel, but I really like this series. Subscribed immediately. However to improve the quality of your videos you may consider to choose more like relaxing or elevator tipe of music which doesn't hurt anybody, I would really appreciate it. Greetings from Europe!
Thanks for joining the channel! Happy to have you here! Sorry you did not enjoy the music, I try and change it up for every video. It’s hard to really find one type of music that fits all. But I appreciate the advice
the transformation is perfect.
So glad you like it!
When you soak the MB with isopropyl, do you blow it out with your duster afterwards to make sure everything is dry or just let it air dry for a while?
I do a mixture of both. I will blow out as much as I can right after I clean it then I will let the board sit for a few hours and blow it again before I install it
@@ThePcRehab Thanks for the reply! I’ve been on a huge binge of your videos. Your channel is awesome!
@@travisbirchard3659 haha glad you are enjoying the content my dude!
That came out Dope AF ! Great job Brother, keep on keepin on Bud! Take it easy, be safe and God Bless..
Glad you like it my dude!
That is a classic Z97 motherboard, one of the best ever made. I had one then I got my first top tier board with The Asus Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1.
I'm a motherboard fanatic. Right now I'm rocking a ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial. It's sooooo bad a$$.
Thanks for the reply. Have a good day.✌🏻
Sir what u used for cleaning on taht spray is it alcohol ?
I love your videos bud thank you for sharing the content im with ya for the long run awesome job you did great getting that tar off
Thanks 👍
*Great price, love these risk free finds!*
*Also is it worth taking out the CMOS battery when cleaning the MB?*
It’s not truly necessary. I will remove it for every build to make sure it’s not gunked up if it’s already clean the. The rubbing alcohol will run under it anyway.
@@ThePcRehab Great thanks, also love the addition of the screen! Will really stand out on the sales page!
Yeah I thought so as well. Honestly anything that not typical gets amazing views online. My joker pc was getting 200 clicks a day because of how different it looked.
What a deal love this series 😁😁 always a good day when the PC rehab uploads 😁😁
Glad you are enjoying the series my dude! Yeah this pc was a great deal
What did you spray on the gpu to clean it?
Isopropyl alcohol
what kind of water did u spray to clean it up ? thanks
I use 99% medical grade isopropyl alcohol. It disinfects and dissolves quickly so it does not harm the components
@@ThePcRehab omg ! i just knew that we can clean up computer parts use liquid . thank you bro for all ur content u provide to us ! keep it up bos ! 🫡
Love the series! Did those cables come with more cable combs? my OCD always has me putting the combs all the way till you can't see the cable anymore lol.
Haha yeah they did, I for sure need to add more towards the back lol
this video was so great i clicked it on the 2nd time in my feed
Incredible content man!! you deserve the sub!! Could I ask how do you connect the small monitor to the motherboard?
Thank you! Glad you like it! The monitor is just a usb and hdmi connection, you have to run the cables through the case and out the back to connect to the gpu
@@ThePcRehab thank you so much 🙏
I love this series
Glad you are enjoying the series
Congratulations for 10k
I waiting for 100k soon ❤❤
Thank you buddy!
Wish I had more info on that screen on the PSU opening. I use CF wrap to cover it.
Great Video you got yourself New subscriber from South Africa 🇿🇦 Keep up the good work bro 👏
Awesome man! Welcome to the channel!
Respect for your content from the UK
Your channel just came up today, you got a bargain and really made the most of it. Glad YT recommended you.
Welcome aboard! So happy you found the channel!
What do you use to clean?
99% isopropyl alcohol
That's a killer deal on the original pc. Did you check the speed of the corsair vengeance RAM kit it had originally? I have some sticks of that stuff clocked at 2400 mhz, which is pretty crazy for DDR3, might be worth keeping in there (if it fits under the cpu cooler lol). Also, ive cleaned up some smoker gaming pcs as well and it takes forever to get the brown stains off parts, good job. Definitely worth the hassle if you can get a bargain
Yeah it blows me away that people smoke next to there systems. But people are going to do what they want. That ram was 1666mhz so it’s not too special. But there was no way that ram was fitting under that size cooler lol
you earned my like an sub, good job bro
Süper temizlik , ellerine sağlık. Rahatlama videosu gibi. Teşekkürler.
You make great videos and you definitely deserve a subscription. Nice greetings from Germany
Thank you! I am glad you are enjoying the videos! Welcome to the channel!
you've outdone yourself with the cosmetics on this one.
super clean
Haha I’m glad you like the build! It did come together real well
nice video bro, 4th and 3th gen is very common in brazil
I'm gonna be honest, I was looking at Facebook marketplace but have never purchased from there, mainly cause I get very nervous, I want one so bad so I need to get over it eventually. This has helped a little bit and I'm gonna sub yo watch some of these adventures ❤
Marketplace can be a great resource as long as you are careful. I make sure and test all the parts I buy off there. But sometimes you can get shocking deals
@@ThePcRehab yeah I wanna be really safe so I just look at the moment
Great Video Sir
🙂 broh, whats the name of that euro trance song? its good
Clean and simple.
But, really,a little bit too "juzzed-up".
IMHO.
Except for a 5" lcd,it would be cheaper to get one WITHOUT touchscreen.
Well the lcd was a last minute addition. It was not planned for that pc. But when I saw how bad that psu looked in the finished build I had to do something so I added it in.
The white looks so good
deal hunting is amazing my biggest score was a brand new 3080ti! back in 2021 !!! yea 2021 for ONLY 300 !! yes 300 2 years agooo!!!!! to this day i cant believe it such a dream deal
That is a monster deal!!! Those almost never come around!!!! Great pickup man!
with this cooling case in you can overclock the cpu abit
What if you try making a windows 95, 98, or xp computer? That would be a fun video and it probably would be nice to have for old software and games.
I was thinking about getting a old pc with ribbon cables and floppy drives haha. But I’d have to track down some old floppy’s lol
W vid man
Ty Ty 🫶
Dang....Nice!
That is some Air Cooler for 35 bucks.
Yeah it was a good deal. Thermalright makes nice products for a pretty decent price
Necer seen someone soak a motherboard before
Great video
Thanks!
What is the name of the pc?
Does not have a name. Why don’t you come up with one :)
@@ThePcRehab so the old office pc didn’t have a name?
Hope it sells well
Me too
wtf?!? replace the PSU now, this psu looks like an IED
It works just fine, just looks ugly. I took care of that
Thats the cleanest $300 pc ive seen!
Yeah this one came together very well
My heart melts with this device, I just look at my ugly device and wish....
the 1070 is really a great steal even its almost few years old and its rocks at 1080 p
Yeah I still love the 1070ti. Totally capable
Looks like my old computer 😂
😂😂 the before or the after?
@@ThePcRehab the before 💀
That was gross. I swear I hate when I get in a smokers system.
Yeah it’s never fun trying to get all that tar off a system
Making the computers look good with those nice little "extras", like a good CPU cooler, cable extensions and LEDs and all that stuff, might cost a little bit more and might eat into the profits a little bit, but as someone who has bought, fixed up and flipped quite a few computers I know for a fact that "curb appeal" is super important.
Good photos of the computer you're selling, too. A lot of sellers seem to take photos using a potato from 2007, which is not ideal when selling anything. Making a computer look nicer and taking good photos of it might not give you significantly more money in the end, but the thing will almost guaranteed generate a lot more clicks and views and it will most likely sell significantly faster.
Oh yeah I spend a lot of time on my listing pictures to capture as many clicks as I can. And people love flashy computers! Lol
0 to 10 episode very attractive till now
Love the build, making wanna built my own not going to lie. I’m a console gamer
How much more cheaper will this get?
Lol oddly enough…it does get cheaper 😂
All the cool kids who thought when he said no before he first put the back panel, he was going to cable manage
👇
Oh I managed to get every single cable inside of there don’t you worry!
I love your content
My friend just got a ps4 slim 1tb for 80$ 😅
Eww consoles 🥴 haha jk that is a pretty good deal
That GPU was gross! 🤮 Nice clean up!😁
Also the RAM. 😳
Oh that gpu was caked in tar as well. All the thermal pads were yellow and sticky 🥴
1070 is good enough, this one is Ti version
32gb ram is perfect for the 4790k and the board
Yeah it needed the ram boost for sure! Definitely worth the investment
This is another awesome value-for-money PC
Man that LED screen thing is awesome never seen any PC builders doing that
Hah yeah you see those on more pricy builds, I just needed to hide that ugly power supply
You are a legend bro
Nice transformation, but can't let it slide you forgot the backplate reassembling the GPU LOL.
Yeah in the interest of not turning a 20 min long video into a 45min video. I skip quite a few steps. I think it can be assumed the backplate is on, as well as all of the power connections and usb case connections. ;) can’t have the videos be too long, people will fall asleep lol
@@ThePcRehab Looked like you put the screws in before the backplate, but yes, I don't think anyone is watching 45 minutes of you screwing the parts back together! Great video!
The molex fan chain lol.
You espend more money on stethic, but no bad
I spend money on things that make people want to buy the pc ;)
legends of marketing broh
New subscriber from argentina
Funny thing is i used to smoke in the same room as my pc but then my buddy told me not too bc of the tar and gunk that can build up so started smoking in the bathroom lol
Haha that’s one way to protect the pc haha
You are awesome
I really need that
Amazing find and build.
Thank you!
W video,
W sersies
bravo
I have to watch the whole fast forwarding music video on mute 🔕 so Can someone please tell me Why everything and everyone channels on UA-cam is all nothing but a hour long advertisement for a computer or any th repair "business" and a fast forwarding loud annoying music videos on fixing and cleaning up things? I have lots of videos of my channel just live and uploaded it building my first and fixing my computer I just started making UA-cam videos of me working on computerrs I been 1997 and yoirin a few times in 2011 and making videos of my building computers in 2020
Sorry you don’t like the music. I find it relaxing to enjoy some music while watching a build come together and seeing as how the channel has 10.4k subscribers in 10 months I’d like to think I am not the only one. Take care man. Thank you for the comment
Get rid of the music explain what you're doing
Bop

Hey at least you are here :)
Pls do not pin me
DDR3 Junk
Well seeing as how this system was able to play any game that is out right now I feel like your comment right here makes you come off as a bit foolish and possibly a little spoiled because there are plenty of people would love to have something like this. But thank you for taking the time out of your day to comment on the video
Beware the "old junk car" that doesn't look modified at the dragstrip.
Same lesson here
