I think that what makes Appledash such a good ship is that the two are just similar enough and at the same time different enough to keep things interesting. I'm okay with the series finale seeming to make it canon.
They're not kidding when they say to marry your best friend. You can still be silly and have fun. Dates are nice every now and then, no need to be fancy and overwhelm either party . So long as you're able to be yourselves together that's all that matters.

I may not like romance tagged fics but I decided to give this one ago and by golly did I enjoy it. If anybody have any other recommendations please do suggest it. The author made his/her message really clear and easy to understand, not to mention that the hook was pretty good. I've always thought and stereotyped that relationships needs to be romantic to work out but this fic proved otherwise. It also helped shape and change my view and perspective of how I view relationships of others as well. Summary: I reeeeaaallly loved and enjoyed it!

you'd be surprised, it's actually more common than one might expect. there can and will be "exceptions" to one's attractions, though not everyone will actually encounter or pursue them, and it works both ways so either rainbow is bi and hadn't discovered that fact until after officially dating aj, or aj was rainbow's exception
