When you are glisading on your butt you should hold your ice axe across your front. Then to apply brakes either roll onto stomach and dig in pick. Or as you are going along dig in your non-pick end to slow n come to a stop. Not a wise choice to glissade without use of ice axe. Tired?? You had several if not all day-adrenilin rushes.
Love watching you Glissade down and the 2nd was intense! Of course I probably never do this but fun watching you get such adrenaline rush! 👍🏻. The scenery is gorgeous and I think you made a wise choice - I wouldn’t like to flip - just wouldn’t feel the same or “right” again a very personal choice 👍🏻. I think you made a wise choice, I believe it will put you in Wyoming in better weather than if you would’ve flipped. I lived in Wyoming a few years ago just east of where your going through. Take Care
