You are one blessed man and goodhearted Daniel. That's what make you a gifted artist as a singer, actor and very authentic in your spuritual and personal life! God keep on using you a light and remain true to yourself..remain to be generous in spirit, joyful and kind. Wish you more success. Would love to see you more in Hallmark movies though!
Dan, how refreshing to hear a man talk about emotions so openly. That's the ultimate demonstration of being brave and emotionally intelligent too. Congratulations for gaining the awareness to dive deeper and learn who you truly are, it's the hardest work one can ever do but it's the most rewarding and life giving. I admire that you love yourself enough to be truthful to yourself and stand strong emotionally to reach higher potential and inspire us, your fans along the way. Thank you for your contribution. And I wish you infinite success, adventure and lots of joy in life. As the ancient Greeks said "Know thyself", because they knew that if you accomplish that first everything else that happens you'll flow with, with total ease.
Dan....you are one of my big heroes! I believe it takes a bigger, stronger man to show your emotions. An even bigger one to admit he has made mistakes in his love. My dad used to tel me “ big girls don’t cry”. Oh my I STILL deal with that. It is hard to even tell people I love that I love them. Your video is giving me room to improve. I have rewatched it several times. LOVE IS AN EMOTION THAT THE WHOLE WORLD NEEDS TO SHARE! I love you Dan Lissing....you are loved by many!
Amazing!! So wonderful that you are working through this in yourself too! It is definitely something that impacts SO many of us...thank you so much for expressing your support and I'm so glad Daniel's words touched you so deeply!!
Bullying sucks! It’s all I can say! It does no one good... not the one who’s bullied and not the one who is bullying! I don’t understand how you can do this to another human.... no matter the way you do it! Thanks Daniel Lissing for sharing your story! It’s a very important topic in the nowadays community!
So true! For both the one who is bullied and the one who bullies...The unfortunate fallout when we aren't given tools for expressing our feelings and the hurt spills out onto others :( Thank you for your support!
Thank you Dan for sharing your stories and experiences! You are a strong and caring person who does show your strength through your emotions! Loved this video!
Wow Dan. Thank you for sharing your powerful words with us. We do need to hear more truth from the men in our society. Anyone can say words, but not all people can share from the heart. Paul posted one time that you were one of his friends that were truly in touch with his emotions. The world is better off because of your honesty.
Have to admit I was surprised- pleasantly - by Daniel Lissing's open comments about emotions. I am going to show this to some young men I know. Thank you Dan!
Hi Daniel, you are a very dear person to my heart. I hope you can always face problems that you may have from some uncaring people. It's ok to just smile and go on walking toward good caring friends. Love you always, Debi Hunsucker ♡♡♡
So awesome to hear the other side of Daniel. School often be a place where it can break you or make you as a man. Silly, but often true. It's how we rise above these obstacles that often makes us better husbands and friends. You have learnt from your ordeals and turned a perceived weakness into your greatest strength. All the best mate.
Lovely! Thank you so much for Sharing! The magic of being human lies in our emotional world. The road of self discovery, feeling found, loving myself. Embracing fierceness," living out load(Sia) is the only way I know how". Embracing our emotional world, gives us access to intuition. Being able to have eyes of fire, ability to "look around corners" The truth will out. Seeing it more and more
Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing this very wonderful video and for sharing your life experiences. I'm going to share the video to all my friends and family especially the families with boys. Hello from Vancouver, Canada.
Amazing! Thank you for spreading the message!! I'm also from BC (Nelson) and lived in Vancouver for many years...it's wonderful to know Daniel's important words will be seen by my home community!! Thank you for your support!
You are stronger than you realise, thank you for your honesty. Follow your heart wherever it takes you. I love the human being you are 🤗 just keep these amazing movies coming, there is a lesson in them for us all 🤗
Thank you Daniel for sharing your experience! !! I believe men absolutely should show their emotions... why not ?? My husband always did especially with wonderful emotional movies we watched together. ..we passed the kleenex between both of us. I loved that he showed that side of his manliness and just showed he did have deep down emotions and feelings.... he was a better man for it and for me !!!!
That was very awesome, sharing your private self with your fans and the world. Thank you! We do such a disservice to our young boys, telling them to detach from their feelings, to be tough and strong. Our feelings are what enables to love more deeply and fully. There would probably be less cheating and divorces in the world if men could fully embrace their feelings. (goes for many women too) Vulnerability can be a very scary thing. But it is where we reap our greatest rewards.
Why is that that people say men are not suppose to show there emotions and that if they do they are not a man .that is wrong because it is not good for your well-being to keep your emotions bottled inside.well said Daniel lissing
I was raised by a mother that would tell me "stop carrying your feelings on your finger tips". So I would internalize, withdraw into my own world. Yes, I was bullied at school, butterball, was a name thrown at me quite often. I did have friends, but again I was very guarded, easy to put barriers in place. I married but again I was told by my husband that he thinks women that show emotion were silly, babies, and weak. So once again my feelings were internalized. I am a RN, in the field of Labor and Delivery. I was able to give of myself but families that were grieving at a loss, I stood back and didn't really know how to comfort. I raised my children to show emotion and listened to them when hurting but still I feel I couldn't give my all to them. As Daniel expressed, many missed opportunities in my life. There are a lot of I wished...in my thinking. Thank you Hayley and Daniel. I wish....
Thank you for sharing!! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that :( But the fact that you can see it now and can make changes for yourself is AMAZING!! That's all any of us can do! Thank you again for your honesty and openness - this is exactly what will change the world!
Thanks so much for this video. Keep talking about it. Boys need to know that it is good to express their feelings. NZ has a high suicide rate, and some of that is because we still live in the "boys don't cry" system. Teenage boys need to hear from men they can relate to. I would love to see Daniel, Richie and couple of others do a tour Down Under talking to boys - they can start at the school I work at in NZ ! I know they are busy with their lives in the USA, but in a couple of years when they may be able to schedule a break, it would be awesome. I'd be more than happy to make this happen !
I believe 'purpose is the new status'... Not the money or a job you do, prestige business ranking and so on. In the end you are what you stand for! That's why I find admirable when someone who is a household name gives a voice to a problem concerning many. Admitting emotions is brave since it is viewed as exposing your vulnerability. We owe it to ourselves to be comfortable in our own skins and be who we are. Getting there can be at times confusing as it requires serious thought about our own actions and motives but it's very liberating in the end. Good luck Hayley in tackling social and peer pressure issues but I guess that is what you wanted to be when you grow up...:)
It seems to me you identified the issue close to your heart. I'd really like to suggest a little book to you called How To Start A Revolution by Lucy-Anne Holmes (just realised - Dr Watson and Holmes but not Sherlock..). She started the NoMorePage3 campaign in Britain causing Rupert Murdoch to drop the page from one of his newspapers. We live in wonderful times when ordinary people can change the world.
Even though your fear basic out on how you live your live that does mean you continue to have the same exactly fear every moment. Hey I tell you my fear is speak in front of people it just that I get scary of what people might say to me. In my life right now even through you don't like me for example I don't care I don't let that impact my life an example if someone get bullying I don't care how tall they all they can do anything to me. Especially, If I see someone can pick on I come in I get in front of you and you go to whatever you going and I will talked to them. Love you Daniel Lissing No matter what. Remember this: Don't let your fear impact your life and you a great actor I love that about you. God didn't give us fear he gave us love and hope.
Watching When calls The Heart again when JACK THORNTON HAS TO SAY GOODBYE TO RIP AND THE LOVE BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM I HAVE TO CRY AWESOME I LOVE WATCHING 🥰😍❤

I agree that he is a blessed and talented man. Does he have a website and does he use another social media account other than Facebook and Instagram? I am trying to get something confirmed that is sort of bothering me.
An incredible role model? After I saw one of the videos with him in it using some of the language he did I wouldn't want him for a role model. So glad I don't get attached to actors. Even though he has other good qualities over all no, he's no role model for my family! I can think of good wholesome people that have both courage and good morals that are good role models for my family.
You are one blessed man and goodhearted Daniel. That's what make you a gifted artist as a singer, actor and very authentic in your spuritual and personal life!
