Almost like a new form of slavery, no? I mean. These people aren't educated, can't speak English, most aren't able to get work visas. In addition, it's pretty clear very few of them are interested in assimilation. And why should they be? Half their home country is within our borders by this point. How are they gonna support themselves in this inflated American economy? Most will find black market jobs and get slighted out of fair wages in order to be paid under the table. That's my guess.

Completely off base. DocGo is corrupt but this was not the comptroller's fault. The contract began in September 2023, Landers had no choice to approve it, the horse had left the barn. What Cash should have focused on is how, among 18 and 21 bidders, respectively; did DocGo win two other "site administration" contracts in May with the city's Health and Hospitals network.
And don't forget, it's probably a black company, so the rules are different. That's how Adams rolls. Selective justice is the new democracy.😂😂😂😂

It was too much too soon. The illegal immigration problem was already bad, but this administration made it so much worse. We really need to close the border. All this is just ridiculous! It's time other countries step it up, start solving their own problems, and retain their own people. The American taxpayer is tired of always being relied on. When you come from another country from South of the American border and come into the country illegally, you are a beggar looking for help; therefore you cannot be choosy about the assistance you get. In Chicago, they do. The poor end up with nothing since in some NGO, they take care of immigrants first. Last year at Thanksgiving, the people in a housing project were assigned a certain time to get a bag of groceries and a turkey for Thanksgiving which was the yearly custom. But the undocumented folks were assigned an hour earlier. So when the folks in the housing projects showed up, all the turkeys were gone. Guess who were the "turkeys" that day?
