Hey Rashmi, it really depends on the place you are going to. Since I can only say about Mumbai and Kerala, if you are from these centres, you can text me or else you can ask your seniors from your centre, they can help you!

I want to know the weather and the best clothes to pack throughout the year, as well as the annual festivals to plan accordingly. Would love of you could answer this , as you have spend a lot of time in Kannur. also, what do they provide you as soon as you enter hostel?
At the starting of the year, it's very rainy and then after October it becomes very humid. So you can carry shorts, which is best for monsoon as well as summers. DON'T carry a lot of full sleeve t-shirts or dresses. I personally can't bare the heat, if you can go ahead.

Diwali

Hey harshita, it really means a lot. NIFT will send you all the details about the documents you have to carry before orientation itself. Make sure to check your emails regularly
Hey could u please reply that in nift kannur, we need to take buckets plates and all ..does nift kannur provide it or not.?
Heyy Deepthi, you will be provided plates in the mess for sure. I mentioned plate just incase you want to order or cook something for yourself in the kettle, so you might need it.
About buckets, everyone will need buckets in every hostel. No hostel provide buckets.
What about bags like to tote bag can we carry
Yes yes, most of the students carry tote bags.

Hello, orientation ke baad direct start hojata hai college. I guess you will have Saturday Sunday holiday, uske baad Monday you will have to go.

@@artisticstudio1211 15 to 20 days is a lot. More than half a month, and you will have to submit many things in the second week itself. I suggest you to go on time, it will really help you.

Can you tell me what’s the deadline to get your original documents verified? Is it compulsory to get it verified during orientation only or if there’s any issue can we get it verified little later ?
If it's about your 12th marksheet, then ig it's fine. But anything other than that, I think you need to clear it out from them.
I’m a pg student, so my bachelors degree is still in my college and I can’t really get it rn. I’m not sure what to do

You will get stationary in crowford market in cheap and in good quality as well
Also, you don’t really need anything in bulk, just get all the basic tools for now i.e colour pencils, sketch pens, alcohol markers, scales and stuff

It's not, but many people have it. (They hide it🤫)
When we have to pay the hostel fee
Well, we did it on the orientation day itself. But you can try and find their contact on their main website and ask them once too.
