funny how Coinbase will allow massive purchases off exchange, but then when some large selling needs to happen, they do it on exchange to drive the price down. That way, the ETF buddies can keep acquiring at a lower price. This is obvious manipulation of prices. Why is it legal?
That’s what will force crypto market to be more regulated so I guess this intentional on more levels in favour of institutions!

Well... DUH!! No regulation means easy to scam. The regs in traditional finance have been introduced over time, as scammers have found loopholes. BTC is no different and your comment justifies why BTC needs HEAVY regulation!!!
@@NothingTosee-xo2bj depends. If heavily regulated then only those holding the strings of power can manipulate prices and the lack of volatility kills profit (and loss) for everyone else. It never ceases to amaze me how many wish to be coddled and handheld.

Coinbase will absolutely shut you out during the most dramatic moves. If Bitcoin drops 60% good luck trying to buy that dip until it comes back up to 20-30%. That is an absolute killer!

Yeah I've seen this happen many times, they shut down and blame it on computers crashing meanwhile big wigs buying behind closed doors and then they reopen when the price goes up, coinbase is staring to suck ass..

Buy it up when whales do this ... eventually it will be in diamond hands ... there is a limited supply of BTC so they are only hurting themselves if we buy it and they can't get it back ... but there is an issue with price only being determined by activity on exchanges ... needs to also reflect what is going on OFF exchanges

And they won't disclose the cause, because we all know the cause is they don't have enough liquidity for all the transactions they are having. Thats why every time the market or BTC pumps, Coinbase goes down. 🤔
Crypto itself is a circuit breaker, so you don't classify when a chain is overloaded and certain chains go down completely and or just failed transactions over and over again as a circuit breaker or a means to shut down, be overloaded, or just fail and stop transactions?
WHO is actually in control of these "ETF's" Why would any sane person buy an ETF when self custody and total control is so easy????
why worry about someone dumping?.......when they dump it, someone else buys it......I wouldn't even be concerned if they dump it in the trash ......even then it just becomes more rare.
Thank you Toby. Real Bitcoin is not Fiat, but ETF Bitcoin is a political hybrid so can we expect it to respond, in the long term, as Fiat does? While real Bitcoin would not?

I already knew they were going to do that. I just didn’t know which company (exchange) the Feds were going to use to manipulate the price.
They're fully recovered, FOR NOW. Sooner or later Coinbase will crash again and because of that, a lot of people will lose their money. Coinbase is just the next FTX. Thats for sure.
all i can say is get your funds out of coinbase while you still can. if they're cutting corners on servers now, they'll keep doing it, considering their exchange barely brings in any revenue.

My DCA is on auto-pilot, and I will never sell, so market manipulation of Bitcoin makes no difference. Michael Saylor has the right idea. You can only manipulate a market that has a finite amount for so long before you run out of supply. The whales can keep selling, and I will keep buying. I thank them every time the price goes down. And I am just a tiny fish in the pond.

That's not really wise is it. A 6 mos civil war will break out after the US elections causing the stock market to plummet. Bitcoin will be 25k or lower next year. If you sell at the top in Oct/Nov this year and buy back in next year, you could quadruple your bag.
