Nice one, Sam. Good to see you again
Thanks Will, nice seeing you again too I might look at booking into next year's show with the lister or something. I have got a 8ftx16ft o gauge tinplate layout in the planning just need to make the boards small enough to go in the back of my van.
Thanks for another great coverage of this annual event, very enjoyable!
Trevor the train
Thanks Trevor I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
That's a cool show, must try and get there next year.
It's a small show but there is a lot to to see. A great day out I have gone for the past 3 years and it is gradually getting bigger in size.
Great video.
I hope I will get a wilesco d9 for birthday soon.
Wilesco steam engines are great fun to operate! I have a D16 and I always enjoy running it!
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Your wilesco D9 sounds good let me know what it's like if you get one. I don't have one of them but I have got a D21 wilesco engines are brilliant I have mainly traction engines and rollers not many stationary ones. I would highly recommend a Bix gas burner on double acting wilesco's engines you can get them to run very slowly.
Video of a Bix gas burner on my traction engine.

@@MuddyLakeEngineering The d16 that I have can also run very slowly but because running at low speed doesn’t use much steam, it causes the safety valve to blow quite often. I don’t have any traction engines or rollers but I do know someone who has.
@@jonesthesteam that's great. You can get the traction engines and rollers ticking over slowly with out a gas burner but they are really worth it just to fine tune the control even more. I can say the showmans engine has to be running fast to produce enough power for the lights to be bright enough.
