I think they will duel lead for the list part, techno leading on his “better” games and the same with dream, like handing it off to each other every few rounds
@@pzapi Well Calvin and CPK have good chemistry, but SB and Mini don't know them as well, so even if there good players, not being able to work together might hurt the team.
@@pzapi i know that you know how competitive and passionate dream is even techno simping for him so hard, dream will be the very foundation of the team
I've been there. And when you put it like that, confidence in a Dream/Techno leadership team may not work. I never got along with the 2nd smartest kid when paired together
Everyone here is talking about how Techno and Dream might clash as leaders, and who will step up, but I think we should focus on the huge advantages these two get by being able to switch between the two of them. I mean yes, from streams and everything, it’s clear that Dream likes being in control and clearly he has the skills to do so, but at one point you gotta realize that Dream gets quiet frustrated when things don’t go as planned. Like how mad he got over rocket spleef getting played instead of hole in the wall. I think it’s fair to say - judging from the past 2 MCCs - they could’ve played better IF Dream would’ve kept it together as a leader. Like after rocket spleef, their team COULD’VE recovered but Dream was clearly bringing the mood down, and being silent meaning their team didn’t really have a leader. They only started to recover in sands of time when I think Sapnap really stepped up and brought the mood up. The same goes for Techno as well. I honestly think that Techno COULD’VE won the first MCC with Callum, and seeing by how close they got to winning in MCC 7, I think that this is fair to say. A huge contribution to why they didn’t do as good in MCC 6, I think, is because of how stressed out Techno was during the whole tournament because of the potato war. So the fact that they can essentially switch out leaders I think is a huge advantage because Dream and Techno both has a heavy affect on mood and overall team preformance. Let’s pretend that Dream starts off with the leadership Role, and maybe something goes wrong with like... build mart again: then easily Dream can go be angry (and shown, he still preforms the same while angry) but Techno is there to make sure that the mood is still light and can keep the team going. They both can make sure if one fails, they can take charge and make sure the team doesn’t fall. Edit: Spelling/ Grammar
True, that's something I didn't even think about. Like having a leader and vice-leader, swap them out to keep them fresh and ready to lead the party when necessary so nobody gets overly stressed or high tension
I agree with this 100%, perfectly summed both of their strengths and faults, as well as describing the best case situation. If they play like this, they will be a very strong team.
thats actually super true! i think theyd be very balanced as leaders since im pretty sure i remember dream saying that he is still okay under pressure, but he doesnt like when things dont go as planned. on the other hand, techno could probably be the one to pick the team up after a curveball with his banter and stuff. basically, in a stressful situation where techno cant perform well, dream can step in easily. same goes for if something doesnt go dream’s way, techno could step in to bring the team up easily as well! its all a matter of communication and understanding each strengths and weaknesses!
There's also the fact that their team would absolutely dominate Build Mart, since Techno's plan dominated last MCC. They really have no 'weak' games. If Michael and Burren get trained by the 2 tryhards and pop off, they could dominate.
I also didn't take this into consideration. Last MCC, Dream was very frustrated and his mood affected the way the team could have done in build mart, it was very quiet and there was no hype to bring the team up, no adrenaline. If techno took over as a leader if dream got frustrated, the team wouldn't be as down if no one took up the role as leader. But if they were both frustrated at the same thing, i have a feeling the Michael would cheer up the group, since i watched a little bit of his stream, he seems like a funny guy, and who wouldn't be cheered up with a good laugh. I don't know much about Barren, but in the MCC's I've watched he's a good player and he is a good asset to the team. Overall, Dream and Techno could switch the team leader roles at any point they feel frustrated. The thought I can't get out of my head is I feel like they still are enemies even though they are still in the same team, I feel like they'll compete to see who will be a higher player overall, secretly.
Techno probably plans, because of how MUCH INSANE WORK he did on Potato Wars, his planning skills majorly excels. Dream, on the other hand, with his Hunter vs Speedrunner series, have a bunch of High IQ Plays. And when his plan doesn't go well, he goes madman mode
bruh calvin is a smaller version of techno with more knowledge of the game, he is at the same level as techno and even better. im 100% sure seapeaplays is underestimating himself and his team, because they should be close to techno & dream.
@@sealdraws1984 ik i watched it, techno usually doesnt play on 1.9+ but he is suprisingly still good at it, all he needs is to learn more and practice a little in these versions and he will be a good player (not that he isnt now)
Either Dream and Techno will fight together very well and destroy everything, or they'll continuously bicker with each other and fail miserably. Edit: Okay, here's what I mean. I know they're both friends, but remember their styles. Dream tends to work alone and do things himself. Techno is a team player, who spends his time helping out the rest of his team and strategizing. What the outcome is, will be revealed in the championships. Hype! Edit 2: They won, and worked pretty well together. But does everyone see what I mean by their playing styles?
“Win everything” and “fail miserably” are very different it’s very possible that they’ll not make it into dodgeball, or something along those lines, although with the speed running world record and one of the best PvPers it’s hard not to win, people underrate Michael and burren but they’ll do spectacularly aswell, with dream and technos help
I like how this guy somehow managed to come up with two scenarios in his premature brain that he holds to constant possibilities for the future. And that 128 liked it. Very sad
@@BlablaishBlabla it's all up to technoblade to let dream take the spotlight. Dream takes things really seriously and Techno's gonna back down a bunch cause he realizes it's just a game, it's not worth it
For me, Red Rabbits depends on: -Will Tommy take it seriously and pull himself together enough to perform well -Will Wilbur and Tommy clash so much as to hinder the team (looking less likely than ever considering their Dream SMP shenanigans) -Will Wilbur take the event as proving that he is a good player without Techno, or will he use the narrative that he's been heartbroken and is now demotivated (could go either way) -Lastly, will Phil step into Techno's shoes, or will he be overshadowed by Tommy/Will Overall, I think the team will perform pretty badly in PvP (too used to Techno and no really strong PvPers), but do well in games like Rocket Spleef and Sands of Time, but it all comes down to whether Tommy will come through
i think tommy might carry in the pvp events for the team (MIGHT) since in the event when he was with technoblade at the first round (skyblockle) im pretty sure he got 8 kills, while technoblade only got 6 btw you can say its luck that technoblade didnt find alot of people to kill but tommy survived against 8 people in pvp, so they got a chance
I think the Dream SMP stuff is bringing Tommy and Wilbur closer not making them clash. And I might be forgetting but I’m pretty sure the only time Wilbur Phil and Techno won was with Tommy, so I’d say he’s a pretty strong competitor
but dream and techno together isent even. (unless they have disagreements which is possible because of how competative they are against each other) also burren and micheal are REALLY underated so if they all get along, other teams dont stand a chance
@@Naustinn_ Maybe it's so, if they do a leadership switch on different minigames, but atleast remember that mcc is still for entertainment and i think we can all agree that we are going to love watching Techno/Dream's POV. :)
I agree tbh, none of the teams have nearly as much blowout potential as the one Techno won, not even the Techno - Dream I don't see any of the teams as winners with more than 2 players in top ten (except maybe Cyan), for one thing. My impression on contenders for top 10 by team, and performance of teammates: (in order of the video, based largely on the video) Phil and tommy (Neither top 5, likely only one of them top 10 if at all), both teammates top ~ 15/20 Shubble good, idk about her team tho Falsesymmetry is solid, but that's all I know Pete (definitely top 5), teammates all decent and have notable highs but inconsistent SapNap, Krtzyy (likely only one of them will be top 10, neither will top 5), George ~ top 15, Eret decent, could pop off Everyone on Cyan is a top 10 contender, but Sparklez and Puffy are inconsistent, and TapL could be nuts but is unproven Quig top 5 is likely, Hbomb top 10, definite contender for top 5, Smallishbeans idk but probably average, Fwhip idk but probably similar Cal is probably top 10, maybe top 5, Seapeekay top 15, Minimuka either top or bottom 15, SB737 could likely be top 25-15 at least Krinios contends for top 10, Fundy is probs top 15, Kara seems decent, idk Sylvee Dream top 5, Techno Top 10 could easily be top 5, Micheal and Burren seem decent but don't seem like they'll pop off tho. The issue when laying it out like this is that the event's gotten so stacked that due to math, *someone* is going to be bottom ten, despite being solid. A third of the players given any sort of analysis in the video will score bottom half. That's kinda nuts, so it really depends on everyone's performance during the time.
q00w on a team these two probably won’t argue unless about kills or who’s doing better but I think it will be done in a friendly tone. At the end of the last championship Techno and Dream had a forty minute convo and they clicked really well. It was super entertaining and there was a lot of banter and laughing. The two seem like best friends already,
Me too.... I find it kinda funny most of the time because of TechnoBlade. I mean like, he's always trying to rig the votes. And now that he and Dream are on the same team, Dream won't have to worry about the audience takeover because TechnoBlade can just rig the votes.
Being completely honest, when I saw the teams, I thought it was fake or a joke. Four great players on the same team? However, the more I think about it, the less likely it seems that they will be in first. Not to discount the skills of any of them, especially Burren and Michael. The reputations of Dream as a well balanced fighter, and quick thinker, and TechnoBlade a cunning strategist, and an excellent pvper despite his complaints about the new system, and the hours of prep they both put into this event, all speak for themselves. The problem is, their reputations may cause more harm than good, the only good I see from it is that Burren and Michael may be able to fly under some of the radar and do exceptionally well this time around. This will be largely dependent on what games are picked, but I'm certain that the mere mention of Techno and Dream being on the same team will paint a gargantuan target on this team's back. I would not be surprised if multiple teams work together, even if it is an unintentional alliance, to try and bring that team down. Especially in games where pvp/knocking players off is allowed, whether it is clout hunting or just trying to beat them before they can rack up a ton of points, I think that the odds are actually stacked against Dream, Techno, Burren, and Micheal. Based on the skills of these players they SHOULD win, but depending on the behaviors of all the other teams, I doubt it will be a clean victory. That said, I will enjoy watching this MCC regardless of the outcome.
I DEFINITELY think that your point of others creating an alliance to bring down that team would be plausible because this isn't the most competitive event ever, proven through the structure and the win conditioning of some games, there would be a nullified viewer response from it, meaning that it would be slipped under a small bit, and a small bit when it comes to those particular viewerbases can go a long way, trust me
despite techno and dream having competition i hope they can pull through and work together, and if that happens, its gonna be like mcu, even a 3v21 wont take them down
Techno and Dream seem to have good chemistry and I think they’ll definitely do good. Either they’ll win or maybe get 2nd or 3rd place. I don’t think they’ll lose horrendously because of Dreams quick thinking and Techno’s PvP skills. A lot of people think they’ll bicker a lot but they’re good friends off camera. Everyone is acting like Techno is always like “clout stealing time” and “I am #1” but he isn’t. He definitely is a bit loud at times but is a great strategist and has clutched a bunch of times. Dream on the other hand is a quick thinker and has a lot of knowledge about Minecraft in general. ALSO also, people aren’t giving Burren and Micheal any encouragement because both of them are underrated as heck and are also really good at the game. TL:DR I think the Pink Parrots team is absolutely stacked and will do good, and not lose horribly.
Creeping Tornado um what, he’s only awkward around new people and he makes jokes like “it’s clout stealing time bois” and “blood for the blood god”. He’s joking ffs
well, thats was last year, with all the tournaments that hes been joining, i think that has gotten better, but is it tru that he doesnt speak up much if hes in a call with a lot of people
But also he has pretty good chemistry with dream, which you can see from the end of the last mcc, but only because they are so similar in personalities. I reckon it’ll be a joint leadership between them, with the other two cracking jokes and doing what they say
In pink parrots who would be the leader tho.. both Techno and Dream are such leaders when on diff teams, how would they work out the dynamic? If they pull this off it'll be amazing Edit: them passing around the leadership acc to their best games/ just working thru it as a joint leadership would be amazing to watch
I think if Techno is comfortable with his teammates then a joint system may work, if not then I think Dream would be leading the whole time since he is quick to process and react.
@@PetrePetrescu That only happened a few times though just because Tommy was being Tommy and randomly doing things anyway lol, but you do have a point, I don't think he cares much as long as it's not a stupid idea that will lose points. I think it might be more like how his team in mcu was (at least between Dream and Techno) They all had a mutual respect for each other and general understanding of their strategy so whenever one of them suggested something they just talked it out and then did it, there wasn't really anyone person leading, because it wasn't necessary.
Felt like Dream would most likely lead the team. Techno only steps up if he really wants to win the game, like in battle box or there's no one else that is showing dominance. but most of the time he just minds his own business, also cheers the members up if things aren't going as planned.
@@cwispem206 they stated that Dream doesn't win most of the manhunts and that they post the one that is the most entertaining. Dream isn't a god but he isn't bad. He's undeniably lucky but he is also a good player.
That's because dream always has secrets and is also very smart. Also dream would probably have a water bucket. So pushing him off a cliff is like throwing air at a person
pink parrots, undeniably, has a high chance of winning. whether they’ll get in by the skin of their teeth, like orange ocelots in mcc 7, or through a crushing lead throughout the majority of the event, like purple pandas in mcc 4, depends on the leadership, games chosen, and the team’s overall chemistry (although i believe this might the lowest factor out of the three i’ve named). as for the leadership, i agree that dream will take over the role as leader, but i believe techno might fill in the gaps and holes dream will leave (as everyone makes mistakes. no one is perfect). banter and disagreements between them will undoubtedly make or break the leadership, because while callum stated techno is less vocal, i do believe techno will voice his concerns and thoughts, because him and dream know each other, even if it is somewhat well. here’s a somewhat irrelevant opinion: i don’t believe techno is a natural born leader. why? in every team he’s been the leader of, it’s because he was the best player of the team, and i believe he recognized that so he stepped up the plate. the only team he wasn’t the leader of? minecraft ultimate, season 2. why? because not only do techno, nestor, and calvin all have a mutual shared respect for each other, but they are all of similar high skill levels, and with the addition of their great chemistry, it makes for a pretty good team without a definite leader. you could argue who was the leader of that team, but i won’t. analytics, opinions, and predictions aside, i’m so stoked for how mcc 8 is going to play out. i’m definitely going to watch more than one pov this time around (i watched “only” techno before, and hopped around to his teammates’ povs). definitely techno for the live pov, then switch between phil and wilbur for the second (i love watching phil’s povs because when he dies of laughter, it’s even more entertaining when you watch it from his pov. and wilbur’s povs are astounding too. i love the entirety of sleepy bois inc!). and i’ll probably end up watching calvin or callum’s pov third! this is,,, way too lengthy and i def turned on grammar mode for this. whoops
I do agree with your other points, but I feel in MC Ultimate S2 Techno was more over the leader of that team. Granted they all did get on well and all had generally well rounded out PVP skills, I feel like Techno had mostly the final say in what went. He was even the only guy they had in full diamond- That’s just my two cents tho. I’m open to opposing opinion.
@@gwenkyra1364 i agree with the above reply, also the fact we all thought they’d be battling over leadership and they’re out here cracking jokes and just having a blast and making up plans as they go,,, mcc8 was incredible
I think dream and techno will be interesting because they’re both the leaders. I can’t see any scenario where dream let’s someone else lead but I’m not to sure how techno will react to that kind of player on his team. I’m a fan of both and I’m super excited to see them but I don’t know how good teammates they will make. They’re either going to have the same ideas and be right in lock step together or but heads the whole time. Either way should be fun to watch.
I think they'll get most of their planning done beforehand, so probably not much butting heads, but maybe further strategizing. There doesn't have to be a leader for that, they can just discuss pros and cons and then probably pick the best idea.
Ashfer2 that’s what I think too totally agree. It’s a small chance but something could go wrong and it that case I think dream will probably just take the lead. I can’t imagine techno fighting that hard for it unless they start doing REALLY bad which at this point doesn’t seem very likely.
Bro the way Techno and Dream both played team leaders together, but the whole team bounced off each other so well, that was my second favorite MCC of all time (first being the sbi MCC).
Pink Parrots definitely have very strong players all in all, I’m just concerned about them working well as a team. Considering most of them don’t have the chemistry they had with previous players/teams.
@@churpyfurball5280 Ya. And last time Meg said she would probs not participate anymore as it was too stressful, so she probs told Scott she only would do it for fun with people she knew.
Here's the thing. Pink Parrots as an objective talent is EASILY the most OP team, hands down. Skill alone, Dream and Techno are both T5 players, and I could argue potentially both T3 players. Michael and Burren are also both fantastic. However, because of their natural roles as the overpowered team leader (Both having been hailed "Best Minecraft Player in the World"), it could be a problem for one of them to try and slip into the team leader position. Of the two, I would say Dream is the most fit to take the position. Techno is brilliant at the game, but his leadership role is a secondary aspect to him being talented. Whereas, Dream is also amazing at the game, but his analytical leadership has always been a primary factor of his success. That being said, I'm seeing a lot of concerns that Dream and Techno wouldn't get along, and I just want to clear the air that the arguments are purely for show, and they're actually friends offscreen. Long story short, if they can pull off a good synergy, they will wipe the FLOOR with everyone else
Honestly, i think dream and techno get along quite well, after the mcc last time they were joking abt idk if they do the whole 'rival' thing for the viewers but i think that theyll do well because if one starts to fall behind in leadership the other can easily hype their team back up! basically i believe it will be another mcu if the teams all team up against them xD
Techno has openly voiced how socially awkward he is, I believe dream will lead. Usually techno leads because he is the strongest. This time though dream is a better leader so techno will probably just be a “Co-leader”.
Vayun Upadhyay no they wouldn’t fight over that. Techno and dream would both lead in different games since they are both good at different games. If you have seen the pink parrots streams, at dodgebolt you can see techno and dream leading the eachother
For me, I don't see Techno and Dream will banter too much. I think their biggest weakness is either getting targeted or taking the win for granted. I don't know anything about Burren and Michael, so I don't know how they're gonna do. Good luck, Callum!
Micheal is the kind of player who usually ends up in the 9-15 range in placements, burren is a little lower down maybe 19-26ish but they're both solid players, Micheal especially
@@oscaro3977 and if you were to put 2 people with the highest egos, they are most likely to compete with eachother of who will get more points rather then the other teams , which might end them in a bad way
Alot of people are saying that Techno and Dream might like, clash as leaders. But what I think is that, before the day, they would probably plan that out, and as a team decide together, or, they both take the act of leader and discuss their tactics and such, so like both take the role as leader and before the tournament try this. Another thing I think they might do is split up their jobs. So for example, Techno taking lead in Hunger games, and Dream take the lead another and so on. Personally, I more believe that in Hunger/survival games, they both work together as leaders as it would mean they could choose the better gameplay and such. This could totally work, and stop them from battling for leadership.
@@allensullera1565 just the thing is, I think its team points matter in this tournament. If they aren't the ones responsible for killing others teammates, they'll be losing a lot of points.

Everyones talking about how its really catastrophic that techno and dream got teamed. I'm over here anticpating how many orphans are gonna get stabbed 😂
tbh the biggest issue with the pink parrots team is that I’m not sure who would lead them, even tho dream has a very dominant personality that’s good for a leader, I’m not entirely sure he’s actually the best leader for the pink parrots and like he mentioned in the video, techno might back down bc he’s more introverted and quiet even tho he’s the most experienced leader (and best one in my opinion), worst case scenario is that they clash too much bc neither knows how to back down from a leadership position, tho tbh I don’t see this happening unless smth goes wrong in the event and the other tries to take the reins from the established leader, best case scenario is that dream actually backs down and techno leads the OP team to victory
My concern is that Dream and Techno will get caught up in individual points, and prioritize that over team performance (that's why Wilbur is actually a good balancer bc he's always willing to give up ind points to take one for the team like in Sands of Time). While the other two will probably compensate a bit, I think the competitiveness of Techno/Dream might drive them to kind of cancel eachother out in a way. As for leadership, Techno is def a stronger leader imo. He's more experienced (both in leading teams and MCC in general), is better at handling his competitiveness without lashing out and staying calm, and is better at task delegating.
I agree with both of you! Another reason Techno might back down from the leader role, is to avoid too much of the competitiveness their audiences are expecting. It’s good for the content, but like you said, he’s definitely more anxious and introverted than Dream and won’t go looking for things to rile up and mess up their chance at a dub.
I remember thinking when he talked about the Green Guardians. If there is one big thing that will cause that team to do badly, it'll be Georges colorblindness. We've seen from past Championships that it affects his performance a LOT in games like Build-Mart. So if there's one big thing that'll break that team and bring them down, it'll be Georges performance being dampened by his colorblindness.
Pete being super humble is a love hate relationship. He's a great guy, but he also doesn't focus on winning, which he totally could. If he really tried to put his best team together, I think he'd easily win. Just like how Dream and Techno had their own squads.
I am awaiting the day Tommy is on a team with 3 girls, as there may be MANY outcomes, but all will be hilarious. As for whom will lead between Dream and Techno, both are great as leaders. But both are generally prideful, so I wonder how they will work together.
I’m really grateful for these teams, Scott manages to balance the teams fairly well while creating teams with personalities that synergise for an amazing viewing.

Both Techno and Dream are extremely competitive, they will not just plan everything, they will also train their teamates

Nah Phil wouldn't argue, he'll laugh at all the others bickering haha
Either Dream and Techno will fight together very well and destroy everything, or they'll continuously bicker with each other and fail miserably.
Edit: Okay, here's what I mean.
I know they're both friends, but remember their styles. Dream tends to work alone and do things himself.
Techno is a team player, who spends his time helping out the rest of his team and strategizing.
What the outcome is, will be revealed in the championships. Hype!
Edit 2: They won, and worked pretty well together. But does everyone see what I mean by their playing styles?
From that chat they had at the end of last MCC, I think they'll do good, they have good chemistry and seem to think similar in terms of strategies.

@@BlablaishBlabla it's all up to technoblade to let dream take the spotlight. Dream takes things really seriously and Techno's gonna back down a bunch cause he realizes it's just a game, it's not worth it
The Householder ? techno also takes the game seriously
For me, Red Rabbits depends on:
-Will Tommy take it seriously and pull himself together enough to perform well
-Will Wilbur and Tommy clash so much as to hinder the team (looking less likely than ever considering their Dream SMP shenanigans)
-Will Wilbur take the event as proving that he is a good player without Techno, or will he use the narrative that he's been heartbroken and is now demotivated (could go either way)
-Lastly, will Phil step into Techno's shoes, or will he be overshadowed by Tommy/Will
Overall, I think the team will perform pretty badly in PvP (too used to Techno and no really strong PvPers), but do well in games like Rocket Spleef and Sands of Time, but it all comes down to whether Tommy will come through
i think tommy might carry in the pvp events for the team (MIGHT)
since in the event when he was with technoblade at the first round (skyblockle) im pretty sure he got 8 kills, while technoblade only got 6 btw
you can say its luck that technoblade didnt find alot of people to kill but tommy survived against 8 people in pvp, so they got a chance
True i think when Tommy wants he's actually good in PvP if Tommy actually tries to win they might be second
I think the Dream SMP stuff is bringing Tommy and Wilbur closer not making them clash. And I might be forgetting but I’m pretty sure the only time Wilbur Phil and Techno won was with Tommy, so I’d say he’s a pretty strong competitor

I agree tbh, none of the teams have nearly as much blowout potential as the one Techno won, not even the Techno - Dream
I don't see any of the teams as winners with more than 2 players in top ten (except maybe Cyan), for one thing.
My impression on contenders for top 10 by team, and performance of teammates: (in order of the video, based largely on the video)
Phil and tommy (Neither top 5, likely only one of them top 10 if at all), both teammates top ~ 15/20
Shubble good, idk about her team tho
Falsesymmetry is solid, but that's all I know
Pete (definitely top 5), teammates all decent and have notable highs but inconsistent
SapNap, Krtzyy (likely only one of them will be top 10, neither will top 5), George ~ top 15, Eret decent, could pop off
Everyone on Cyan is a top 10 contender, but Sparklez and Puffy are inconsistent, and TapL could be nuts but is unproven
Quig top 5 is likely, Hbomb top 10, definite contender for top 5, Smallishbeans idk but probably average, Fwhip idk but probably similar
Cal is probably top 10, maybe top 5, Seapeekay top 15, Minimuka either top or bottom 15, SB737 could likely be top 25-15 at least
Krinios contends for top 10, Fundy is probs top 15, Kara seems decent, idk Sylvee
Dream top 5, Techno Top 10 could easily be top 5, Micheal and Burren seem decent but don't seem like they'll pop off tho.

ALSO also, people aren’t giving Burren and Micheal any encouragement because both of them are underrated as heck and are also really good at the game.

whether they’ll get in by the skin of their teeth, like orange ocelots in mcc 7, or through a crushing lead throughout the majority of the event, like purple pandas in mcc 4, depends on the leadership, games chosen, and the team’s overall chemistry (although i believe this might the lowest factor out of the three i’ve named).
as for the leadership, i agree that dream will take over the role as leader, but i believe techno might fill in the gaps and holes dream will leave (as everyone makes mistakes. no one is perfect). banter and disagreements between them will undoubtedly make or break the leadership, because while callum stated techno is less vocal, i do believe techno will voice his concerns and thoughts, because him and dream know each other, even if it is somewhat well.
here’s a somewhat irrelevant opinion: i don’t believe techno is a natural born leader. why?
in every team he’s been the leader of, it’s because he was the best player of the team, and i believe he recognized that so he stepped up the plate.
the only team he wasn’t the leader of?
minecraft ultimate, season 2.
why? because not only do techno, nestor, and calvin all have a mutual shared respect for each other, but they are all of similar high skill levels, and with the addition of their great chemistry, it makes for a pretty good team without a definite leader. you could argue who was the leader of that team, but i won’t.
analytics, opinions, and predictions aside, i’m so stoked for how mcc 8 is going to play out. i’m definitely going to watch more than one pov this time around (i watched “only” techno before, and hopped around to his teammates’ povs). definitely techno for the live pov, then switch between phil and wilbur for the second (i love watching phil’s povs because when he dies of laughter, it’s even more entertaining when you watch it from his pov. and wilbur’s povs are astounding too. i love the entirety of sleepy bois inc!). and i’ll probably end up watching calvin or callum’s pov third!

Not pete, but vicstar123
@@whatcouldgowrong6224 no, pete is better
Eret would probably be a double agent for dream and betray the green guardians
rip the original founding group of L'manberg
Yoooooooooooooooooooo suck it green boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii (if you know you know :) )
Its gonna be weird not hearing Phil and Woolbur's voice while watching Techno.
But atleast we got Techno and Dream ON THE SAME TEAM, just imagining the view count from these mad lads combined.
I'm excited to see if Sapnap and George become more competitive against Dream and vice versa lmao
I honestly CANNOT wait! I’m very excited for Dream + techno team and also super excited for red rabbits because I cant wait to see the dynamics with Scott thrown into the mix! Tommy is such a unique character and he loves to take the lead and get his opinion kind of out there and loves to lead so I’m wondering how it will be with Scott there as well! I’m definitely gonna have SOOOO many vods to watch of this (hehe like I don’t already watch like 6 different perspectives each time) I honestly have no clue who I’m gonna watch live! I will probs save some ppl’s streams who stream on YT to a playlist because ppl like dream make their streams go unlisted after so I can’t watch em ;-;
Idk why I wrote this much ._. Also can’t wait for your team Callum! :D
Bye!
Oh god why did I type so much? No ones gonna read it ._.
I read it!
Deji Adeyale legend! 😂

It'll be funny though...
we want content ok?
Dream in the thumbnail...🤣😭😂
if he put Dream’s minecraft head in the thumbnail it would literally just a green square with a black line on the bottom lmao
it is such an inconvenience for not having a face according to Dream
Where did dream say that?
OoOoF in one of George’s streams
Tbh statistics mean jack shit when Techno and Dream are involved they're both like anime protags
😂😂😂
Good thing Eret isn't on a team with Tommy and Wilbur, for.... reasons
Is that a reference to the war I smell?
@@boba_ocha7782 Indeed it is
Everyones talking about how its really catastrophic that techno and dream got teamed.
I'm over here anticpating how many orphans are gonna get stabbed 😂
Who is here after the event to see how his predictions held up?
do you know the final leaderboard
Calvin and Callum the ultimate duo
Quig - Techno - PeteZahHutt - Dream
If they team together they would 100% clap everyone
Everyone:
Dream's Team

Techno's Team

This second channel vids have been top quality content so far, I'm glad Callum's continued making one off vids here, I really like them
Aaaa! Seeing this video pop up on my feed made me smile!! :D Thank you for posting and being able to make my day :D

"The hermits don't usually do that good"
FlaseSymmetry goes and wins two MCCs in a row
I'm excited to watch Shelby's stream 😂 Meghan and Joey with be annoying each other ~ just like they always do haha
Jimmy and Martin will just be laughs
George will have trouble if there's some colours involved, but the rest of the team will help him
I don't know anything about the cyan creepers so yeah
Joel will know fwhip, but they're both mostly builders but H and quig are actually quite good
I don't know cxlyvxn or sB737 but mini is average and callums Callum (chaotic)
tbh the biggest issue with the pink parrots team is that I’m not sure who would lead them, even tho dream has a very dominant personality that’s good for a leader, I’m not entirely sure he’s actually the best leader for the pink parrots and like he mentioned in the video, techno might back down bc he’s more introverted and quiet even tho he’s the most experienced leader (and best one in my opinion), worst case scenario is that they clash too much bc neither knows how to back down from a leadership position, tho tbh I don’t see this happening unless smth goes wrong in the event and the other tries to take the reins from the established leader, best case scenario is that dream actually backs down and techno leads the OP team to victory
It’s good for the content, but like you said, he’s definitely more anxious and introverted than Dream and won’t go looking for things to rile up and mess up their chance at a dub.
who’s here after the tournament?
I remember thinking when he talked about the Green Guardians. If there is one big thing that will cause that team to do badly, it'll be Georges colorblindness. We've seen from past Championships that it affects his performance a LOT in games like Build-Mart. So if there's one big thing that'll break that team and bring them down, it'll be Georges performance being dampened by his colorblindness.
ok, but joels 1v3 clutch in the final,,,,, damn.
Pete being super humble is a love hate relationship. He's a great guy, but he also doesn't focus on winning, which he totally could. If he really tried to put his best team together, I think he'd easily win. Just like how Dream and Techno had their own squads.
this means as a techofan I may have to see eye-to-eye with dream stans..
Hi yes i am a dream stan👁️👁️

SEAPEEKAY GET THAT CLOUTTTT also i love this video
dream and techno will probably win if dream doesn't get mad at techno, but once they've practiced together for a while i think they'll be fine
I watched this after the battle, Seapeekay be a fortune teller, nobody sleepin on burren #burrencarry
For the Techno-Dream team, I'm looking forward more to the banter and seeing them get along with each other.
This MCC could be really close
Lol and after a year I come in here knowing how well they did and hiw amaizing the chemistry was... one of my faves ti watch
ngl mcc8 was the best mcc
I am awaiting the day Tommy is on a team with 3 girls, as there may be MANY outcomes, but all will be hilarious.
As for whom will lead between Dream and Techno, both are great as leaders. But both are generally prideful, so I wonder how they will work together.
That would be hilarious
It’s honestly just a loaded event
As a long time Pete fan, it sounds so nice to hear that he is the strongest competitor in the biggest tournament of his main game. What a legend
DOOD imagine the team has dream, technoblade, petezahutt, itsfundy
Honestly just happy that Tommy and wilbur are in the same team, I love there brotherly like relationship
Rest in pieces technoblade, you will always be king
I’m really grateful for these teams, Scott manages to balance the teams fairly well while creating teams with personalities that synergise for an amazing viewing.
So, Seapeekay, about your bet on Aqua...
I’m just saying as someone who watches TapL’s streams almost everyday, he has been practicing dude so much. Like it will barely matter that this is his first event
EARLIEST HAVE EVER BEEN
I’m so sad I have to work that day but I’m definitely gonna watch like 5 different peoples VODs
that dream smp team tho
you forgot to put an I afters you put s
@@araf9823 Yeah he made a typo there
Looking at this 10 mccs later I can't believe how much people sleept on aqua (who literally came 1st with techno and dream duo) and especially joel he placed 7th in mcc 15 and 6th in mcc 16 but before mcc 8 joel only had been in for fun teams
