for the old ace race fastest lap, it should go technoblade 1, technoblade 2, technoblade 3, then the rest of the people, cus you know he kinda dominated that run.
Quig is good, really good, but prob the only reason he's 1st in most is because he hasn't missed a single MCC, while Techno joined late and had to miss one or two due to health or personal reasons, so either Techno, Pete or HBomb would take most of the top 1's if they all participated in every MCC

Tommy especially. People tend to dismiss him as some loud British child but he's genuinely really good at the game. When he puts effort into it, he's one of the best players out there. Sure, he still *is* a loud child, so he screws around a lot too, but he has the skills to be great when it comes down to it.
I'm not really surprised he hasn't won. He is not a great player, but he is also not "bad" enough to be put on a team with better players due to Scott's "balancing."

I've been watching Phil since MCC1 and even I dind't know he was this cracked. I knew he had his moments on Hole in the Wall, Rocket Spleef, Ace Race and occasionally TGTTOSAWAF. I thought he was average at the pvp games but I guess not!
This isn't a good way to measure it, as most of these are total throughout all events. Dream wasn't in any of the first 4 events Techno was in, also where it was somewhat less competitive. Techno has been in 2 events more, and events which didn't have team balancing, I believe. I still believe Techno is slightly better, but this is a VERY flawed argument to use.
I’d like to see a player spotlight on techno because I always watch his pov and he’s made some really good clutches and found loopholes like neoing around the wall in hitw and the buildmart thing 😂 and he’s just a really good player overall

I think the part that shows just how dominant PeteZahHutt was in MCC Season 1 is the fact that he has the second fastest Ace Race completion on the original map, yet he wasn't there the last time it was played. He basically gave everyone an extra month to beat his time, and only Technoblade was able to beat it.
You know why Pete got the first record right? He was the only one who had access to the tester vods and used them to use the shortcuts, then every was able to use them after that event, Techno wasn't in the second event after pete set the record, and the first one Techno was in he destroyed pete's times while still having shortcuts in his pockets he didn't use, and then Techno never played in MCC again. What is more dominant is that Techno didn't play the last 3 MCC's and still had the record for things like most kills in dodgebolt, skyblockle, when other players like quig should have overtaken him.

Let's c, who has the courage to be honest... Who here (besides me) heard about Technoblade through Dreams rivalry with him in Dreams first MCC event? Honestly, that's how I found out about Techno and now I'm a die hard fan of both of em, I own a Techno and Dream Yootooz as well as a Technoblade plushy and Techno potatoes slushy (Technopane sold out in literally 3 minutes)
For me I first heard of Dream when he did manhunt 1v1s, then I stopped watching him and found Wilbur and Jschlatt through Pewdiepie’s lava rising video, then found Techno through Wilbur and SMP Earth, and then rediscovered Dream through the MCC rivalry
Lots of hypixel players knew who Techno was for a long time since he's a celebrity there. I actually found out about him in Minecraft Mondays, then heard more in hypixel.

That is a big flaw with using total of x to rank players. It heavily favours those who have been in more events, especially the earlier events where team balancing wasn't used.

For me I first heard of Dream when he did manhunt 1v1s, then I stopped watching him and found Wilbur and Jschlatt through Pewdiepie’s lava rising video, then found Techno through Wilbur and SMP Earth, and then rediscovered Dream through the MCC rivalry
I just heard of Dream because of the second manhunt, I've always played in hypixel and techno was a big name there(still is)

Lots of hypixel players knew who Techno was for a long time since he's a celebrity there. I actually found out about him in Minecraft Mondays, then heard more in hypixel.

Super interesting video and thanks so much for doing this as every time I see the leaderboards in mcc I really want someone to go over there so I can have a proper look! However I do think that a lot of these don’t really mean much considering so many of them are hugely influenced by the number of tournaments you have been a part of
I hope that they reset the leader boards so players like dream, Fruit nd sapnap have a better chance since they came later

Just a reminder that techno is in almost all the top tens even though he missed the last three mcc’s, that means this is him only getting around 77% of what his total stats could have been had he stayed

seeing phil and techno so high makes me happy :D phil is so underrated and techno is amazing considering he's close on a lot of the overall ones despite missing out on 4 events
I really do think that Quig is really underrated! The man is very good at the various games in MCC, which is very impressive.

That is a big flaw with using total of x to rank players. It heavily favours those who have been in more events, especially the earlier events where team balancing wasn't used.
Imo they should use like average battle box kill or smth
If Tommy had tryed harder in previous events he would be much higher I think.
