You actually can. I've found out online but the only issue is there will be a slight panel gap on the bottom of the light if you do because the new ones are slightly thinner. However if you don't care about that you can totally do that.

Look at your views of the Accord vs the Camaro, the Honda gettin views IMO but who knows
