- Batman Arkham Knight is an amazing game that has been ruined by WBs decision for live service. The unalive squad ruined every great plot point in this game.

@@Bushberry I know they say that it takes place in the same reality but there are many continuity errors in the game that point to the opposite.
1. The Deadshot thing is fucking wack
2. (SPOILERS) King Shark is alive in this (and looks incredibly different) when he should be dead after "Assault on Arkham" which is meant to be arkhamverse canon.
3. It's not made by the same people, yes by Rocksteady, but most of the staff that worked on the original games were not there and are not there for this game. In my opinion all of that is PLENTY reason to say it's not a sequel. It's like a weird, poorly-written fan game that somehow has an "official" stamp on it.

by far one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Honestly better than most games we get now.

0:58 OK I guess this is a joke, but in Arkham Knight one of the first things you can see when playing as the police officer is a newspaper and a news broadcast talking about Bruce Wayne donating a large portion of his own personal fortune into fixing the ruins of Arkham city into housing for the less fortunate. This creates hundreds of jobs and new homes for the people of Gotham.
So no, Batman does more than spend money on cool cars and gadgets.
Can we all just agree that SSKTJL is just one of King Sharks fever dreams?? Like genuinely what if the world denied that game as canon, and we all just pretended it wasn’t real, no matter what the creators push out in bias toward the game.

Arkham Knight is far from the series best. The Batfamily is utilized better here, at least, but Bruce's rogues are all completely wasted. From Penguin and Twoface having completely generic sidequests that aren't slightly challenging, to Azreal and Hush both having absolutely lame anticlimaxes. And the less said about Deathstroke the better. Pyg and Manbat were at least phenomenal, but the side content felt very "matter of fact". Like they knew they had to include sidequests but didn't have any really cool ideas for them. Then there's the over reliance on the Batmobile (once again, more so in sidecontent than the main story), and just how predictable and boring the Arkham Knight Jason Todd reveal was (showing us flashbacks to Jason for no reason completely spoiled the twist). Scarecrow was fine, but John Noble just did not have anywhere near the energy and fun of Dino Andrade. The combat was vastly improved, but the game also lacked nearly as man creative predator environments, with most being able to be easily cheesed with vents. It has incredibly high highs, such as the finale in Bruce's mind, but the drawbacks will always keep it from being the best in the series.
Rocksteady lost 200 million because SSKTJL. I can guarantee you that it's not canon anymore.
Until they say to me it’s canon. Plus an entire section of the game (Arkham museum) confirms canon. Which is sad…
@Bushberry Rocksteady said it's canon, but I'm pretty sure the people who actually worked on the Arkham games left Rocksteady a while ago

A lot of what happens in the game becomes utterly pointless now the SSKTJL is out since it all exists in the same universe. Developers kinda back pedaled on some of the games bigger moments.

Eh no. It’s just a lot of the events of the game just basically make a lot of the Arkham game pointless. Jokers death, Ivys death, Batman kinda stepping is basically made a joke out of. Among a few other things.

Batman: Arkham Knight was a great end to an amazing franchise. Then Warner Brothers ruins it with a garbage looter shooter. Suicide Squad is a game that shouldn't have been made. A Batman Beyond game should've been made instead. That would've made more sense than a Suicide Squad game. But Warner Brothers is allergic to good ideas and making money.
Kind of my final thoughts once I saw the new Arkham game was gonna be VR

@Bushberry It wasn't a compliment it was genuinely generic and boring to watch. You had a pretty basic take that everyone on UA-cam has and you did it all in the same "youtuber reviewer" voice that everyone does like your teaching a class. It was short and you clearly didn't put any thought or effort into it and are just trying to farm easy views through a basic opinion nobody can really disagree with. But that doesn't matter because you know people will still watch it because you present your boring take on the game in the same way everyone else does. I don't dislike you and I didn't comment just to hurt your feelings. The video is objectively just empty and generic and that's not how you build a name for yourself on UA-cam or any media platform. What do I know though?
