I've been watching your videos regarding Microbiology and I realised I cannot sit here at home and be thankful for these videos; I want and must tell YOU how helpful these videos you make truly are. They are so much easier to follow and also awakening an actual interest for the subjects brought up that a lot of times may not occur due to complicated teaching methods or text. Thank you for opening up another part of the world here, and you are doing a brilliant work with it! If you enjoy it, do continue :D
I think I'm in love! as a high school student interested in microbiology with no prior knowledge to the area you do wonderful in teaching about it, I've seen that you have lots of other medical videos on your page and cannot wait to check them out!! thank you so much
thanks for these videos Armando! I study biomedical sciences at Aston University, UK and I passed my first year final exams in physiology because of your videos! You make things a lot simpler than my lecturers. I am now preparing for microbiology exam and immunology. Hope I'll do well on those too. Thanks for ur effort, once again, and keep them coming if possible!
Hey Robert! What did you doing now a days ??.... If your share me I expired from there.... I'm from WB.... A microbiology student that's my first year....
Nice video. A small correction: you mentioned the size of viruses as being 1-2 micrometers. However, most viruses are much smaller (1-2micrometers is typically the size of bacteria). Viruses are usually in the order of several tens or hundreds of nanometers (so 0,02 to +- 0,5 micrometers). Exceptionally large viruses can be up to 1 micrometer in length.
Thank you very much for these videos! My first language is spanish but, believe me, I haven't found anything like this in that language. Congratulations!
I need this kind of artistic skills. Think I would get an 'A' in all my science labs.. Am a terrible "drawer". Thanks for the lesson. Very well explained and excellent illustrations..!! God bless you..!!
I came here because of COVID. You have me what I came for in the first min of this video. I watched the rest of it so that I could become even less stupid than I was yesterday. Thank you.

Your drawings and explanations are always so cool! Thanks!
It's brilliant. I'm just learning this for the same reasons I wanted to know how/why the sky is blue and how all we see around us came to be. It's beautiful and amazing and away beyond anything I could have imagined. The world needs to know this stuff like they know the back of their hands. Tks so much for the video and all the work and study put into it.
I am inspired😃 I am planning to attempt my paper the way you are presenting it here ..... It will take a very long time but I will try to practice 😉 Thankyou so much for this luxurious lecture for free....🤗
Studying applied biology right now. Interesed in eventually going for a master in virology. This is so fucking interesting. Thank you for these videos.
Does the viral genes code for lysis? I'm asking this because something bacteriophages can be used to infect bacteria to produce stuff like quorn, so in that case the bacteria would not go through lysis?
At 0:23 you mention that viruses are the smallest type of infectious particles, however, aren't prions even smaller? I'm not sure, but since prions are protein particles I would assume they are smaller. Thank you so much, btw, for all your videos!

The best way to repeat viruses before the exam. Thanks!
2:00 , not iso- but icosahedral is the right word. Thanks for your awesome videos anyway! so much helpful!
3:51 He has to say that HIV only infects cd4 positive cells or cells which has cd4 receptors, not only t-helpers.
Where is the second part?
Thank you very much for these videos! My first language is spanish but, believe me, I haven't found anything like this in that language. Congratulations!

I've watched so many of your videos that i say your intro by heart...
This is awesome!!! Wow... you have made my microbio class easy! Thanks a million :)

PURE SCIENCE,
Your videos really helped me in understanding pathophysiology of diseases
wow this video was so good i feel like crying i got it all in one hearing THANK YOU

Thank you so much! Your videos are very well done and the graphics are an amazing way to visualize cellular processes.
You are an amazing drawer. I also like that your speaking and drawing because other people learn differently.
I watch the video and want it. It is really learning and helpful. It is easy to understand and thank you very much for allowing watching the video.
Great lesson, 🎉❤best one I've found so far over the web
Well explained! Just one thing though: HIV not only goes for T Cells but for any cell which has the CD4 receptor, as some macrophage or others :)
It amazes me how something so uncomplicated can fool the substantially complex human body. Wonder why they evolved like this?
Fascinating video 👏🏻 Small correction.. there is a mistake at 1:57.. You said (ISOCOHEDRAL) while actually it is (ICOSOHEDRAL)
You are awesome, I just understood a whole chapter in 15 minutes!
This guy is a genius...Love from Bangladesh
It is really helpful in understanding through diagrams 👍
This video made the lytic cycle much more clearer! I can understand the replication of bacteriophages in a bacterium! Thanks!
Oh thank you so much.....I draw diagrams constantly when I study, so your vids are inspiring in more ways than one!
Can you please the upload the next video on viral replication within human host?
Thanks for the great video. what kind of pen are you using for this video?
Such awesome and explanatory videos! Love the drawings
Any chance that replication of viruses in humans video is posted and I just missed it?!
Teaching Skills... Legendary!
I'm a plague inc fanatic, I'm here to educate myself on the reality of different illnesses. This was interesting
I think the unit for the virus size was in micrometers (um) but it should be nanometer (nm) like you said in the video :) at 0:50
I'm a fan!! Good, easy to understand explanations, awesomely good drawings! I love your videos, thank you!!
where's the 2nd part? :)
+tsitnedance yes please I wanna learn everything about it before we finish microbiology course

That's a brilliant explanation really.
You are awesome.
wow! i learned it so quick!
thanks
Great video! Have checked the FB page for the picture, but it isn't there- has it been removed?
So what are the 4 types of virus coating? Not the GM. So 1 for example would be the bacteriophage...right? Cj
Thank you!! This video was really helpful!
This video was awesome, thanks for posting!
This guy is just good thank you
Does the viral genes code for lysis? I'm asking this because something bacteriophages can be used to infect bacteria to produce stuff like quorn, so in that case the bacteria would not go through lysis?
