The Eastern & Oriental Hotel was established since 1885. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful hotel in Penang. ☺️
There are 2 wings, the heritage wing and the victory annexe. The heritage wing is built before the victory annexe. If you are staying for the first time, I would recommend to try the heritage wing first. You will get to enjoy what guest in the olden days enjoyed, and feel like you have time-travelled back to colonial area. 😆 Besides that, the guest of the heritage wing gets the access to the heritage wing pool. This is what the victory annexe guest cannot get to enjoy.
It was really such a pleasant experience staying here. The deal included free breakfast so I get to try the Buffet breakfast at Sarkies and Palm Court. Sarkies has more variety whereas Palm Court has lesser variety but you can get to eat breakfast with seaview. 🌊
