@@Stoicdexteras far as I know Jack Kirby made a lot of characters like the X-men for marvel. Then he got into a fight with marvel and joined dc. But I think the original comments is saying that modern marvel destroyed a lot of kirbys characters for their politics bs
@@achmahnsch No I’m saying marvel is infamous for stealing Jack Kirby’s artwork and not giving proper credit for its artist. Like if Stan Lee accepted he’s character the guy would probably receive some kind of bad royalties and marvel would take most of the money with possibility the credit.

Stan specifically said don't give him art or work to critique. He would rip into people because in his own words. That's how people learn. It wasn't that he was being mean, it was that he was being critical in the hopes they would do better.
Also if he sees other people art he legally open himself as and marvel to copyright lawsuits
It was the marvel industry (and for a different reason) not Stan himself I think and also if it was stan he’s an eleven year old does he think an eleven year old is gonna have their artwork rejected by their idol and say “I’m gonna work on improving myself so I can change the world”
I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, so I decided I to. Believe it or not but a character named bullet boy was created 80 years ago in 1944 by fawcett comics. He first appeared in master comics #48, but is nothing like this bullet boy, except the name and guns. Fawcett is also the same company that created minute-man bulletman, spy master, and most notably, Shazam. However, as we all know Shazam (and all the other fawcett characters) are now owned by DC. DC sued fawcett for similarities between Shazam and Superman in 1941, and with a licensing agreement, Shazam stories were being published via DC, and eventually they bought fawcett in 1991, gaining access to all there characters, but really only giving the spotlight to Shazam. DC also acquired the rights of now iconic characters, peacemaker, question and blue beetle plus some others through another company, named charlton comics, which DC bought in 1983. If you read all that, thanks, and I hope you learned something interesting from it.

Yo he actually looks sick, a sharp shooting speedster is hella neat and the more angular design gives him a more aerodynamic feel. And also, don't feel discouraged about them not confirming his character, this makes him special for your own type of supers. I'm also working on my own heros and villains. I would really like to see this guy in his own brand of comics!

That is a legal thing actually. Generally companies won't take fan work, because then if something with artificial similarities is released officially, they could get sued for plagarism

I did this as a kid too and got the same form letter along with the instructions on how to submit art to marvel for consideration for work (they had a script they used for prospective artists - a Spider-Man story) I also received an autographed Stan Lee photo

When I was younger, I created my own Marvel character. I called him the shadow of death. His power is invisibility and he was an assassin. And he was kind of like an anti-hero.
Name is a little edgy but he sounds cool. Like a ninja but instead of hiding in shadows he is the shadows

I remember as a kid I made a superhero team with my friends in it from 1st grade, I even made an unfinished comic book about it! (Get ready for a paragraph)
I was around 7-8 ish or 6-7, I had great friends in 1st grade, but now I don’t even remember their names, I was very creative and my imagination combined electricity and the human body, creating lighting pop (yes I, I came up with the superhero name lighting pop -_-), lighting pop was a super hero version of me, she got her powers by a unusual yellow/gold crystal (kinda like the Dino rangers) I don’t really remember the rest, but it’s all a mystery now
Im going to create a villain based of my accounts name, Mimi the ink demon, she is like an ink demon, she can control ink like tentacles, the tentacles are used for *snapping necks* and for picking stuff up, she looks like a blob monster wearing a Mimikyu coat, she turned into the ink demon by going to an abandoned factory with a friends, got lost, found a ink machine, got turned into ink (in my head it’s very gruesome, like getting burned by acid), and then boom! Mimi the ink demon was born! Well her real name is Mimikyu The ink demon.
Well my college professor told me that Marvel doesn’t wait for ideas, they go to artists and ideas instead. And then find contracts. Good thing she warned me

You and I are literally in the same boat. Are used to make comics with my own original heroes back in middle school, and lately, I’ve been doing fan films, because I want to go into the film industry, but now I’ve been working more on my original ideas and even creating whole new ones. And here’s a piece of free advice: who needs marvel, I’d say you should place your heroes and other characters relating to bullet boy in your own fictional universe, that’s what I’m doing. I’m calling my universe the MVU (Maximum Voltage Universe)… any case you’re wondering the fact that it sounds similar to MCU is purely unintentional

I have a ton of superhero ideas but if I could share 1 in here
I’ll have to talk about Color Clone
He’s a Hero in a costume similar to that of a Tokusatsu or Powerranger outfit
And his power is To Summon Alternate Versions of Himself from different dimensions ( but each of these dimensions have a different dominant color that holds everything together)
So basically for every color or shade their is there is a colored dimension equivalent
And when summoned into the Prime Dimension they all have their own powers
Other strengths are most generally will follow his orders and have about the same will
The ability to fuse his Alternate versions together to create things like Yellow with Green stripes ( which will either fuse their powers or give them both )
He can Heal his Alts by bringing them back within himself as long as they haven’t died
2 weaknesses is he can only command so many at a time and some of his Alts like Black and White go rogue

There is NO possible way to strip him of his powers because his blood was completely replaced by radioactive waste after a crane accident, in 2020 when all bad things happen

They already have a VILLIAN character called "bullet". He's from earth-616 and he fights against daredevil. He's also known to fight with Elektra, Punisher, and Captain America. Bullet boy sounds like his side kick. Also Bullet has nature strength and speed that no one knows where his powers come from.
