Day 5 on my Southern Caribbean Cruise and today we explored the island of St. Lucia. We booked another tour and spent the day driving the island, sitting in a volcanic black muddy hot spring, cooling off with a waterfall, and drinking a lot of local drinks including rum.

We had lunch in Jade Mountain resort overlooking the pitons. Just the best
First time cruiser here... I really want to book an excursion outside of the cruise line but it gets us back to the ship 30 mins before sail away. Is this enough time for St Lucia?

What tour did you go on and how much was it per person?
I honestly don’t remember exactly, St Lucia tours or something like that. I found it on Viator and google. It’s been over 2.5 years. Sorry. I need to get better and writing things down

When you do these tours, do you pay in cash or by card? Also, do you pay in american currency?
We booked most of our online with credit cards except I believe 1. They are all in US currency and you give cash as tips to the tour guide!
I'm from St.lucia. I'm not a tour guide, but from my recollection, they are paid in cash. And in St.Lucia, despite the fact that our legal tender is predominantly the Eastern Caribbean XCD, financial transactions are also done via the use of American currency USD as well as Euros.
