I chose HDZero due to that exact reason. Got in with Whoops with HDzero and Analog. Don’t regret it but I did then purchase DJI goggles for bigger drones 🤷🏼. Usually can’t satisfy every desire with one system.
Firstly, i would like to say the learn to fly series was amazing and has helped me a lot! I bought an Avata 2 hoping to get into some beginner FPV flying. I went through your whole series on liftoff and felt very comfortable. The day came when i decided to take the avata 2 outside for the first time. Right away it felt weird and I eventually realized i have been flying in liftoff with inverted on the Y axis the whole time! Pushing forward kills throttle while pushing down gives throttle. Not sure how this happened, i followed the same calibration as your video. Now I'm stuck in a decision if i should relearn my muscle memory of flying the default way or stick to inverted as it comes natural to me now. On top of that i cannot for the life of me find a way to invert the Y axis on the Avata 2, not sure it's is possible. Are there any cons to flying inverted on the Y axis? Are there FPV pros that fly inverted on the Y axis? If i can get your opinion on this it would be greatly appreciated!
Absolutely re-learn the normal way! If you ever want to fly anyone else’s drone ever, learn with throttle position down for zero throttle, and moving the stick upwards increase throttle.
26:31 - So many people recently switching from SBUS to CRSF or vice versa and getting tripped by the fact that you have to re-flash BF to switch between either. BF devs could save people so much time troubleshooting by hiding the receiver SBUS option if SBUS not flashed and same for CRSF!
On an Avata2 the goggles are 85% filled with a warning and it will tell you what you're too close to. I will also tell you may have a fly away and you may lose any return to home.
On a brand new flight controller/ESC, is there anything on the firmware side that needs to be done before you install it? I understand beta flight settings need to be set up, but otherwise shouldn’t work out of the box?
@JoshuaBardwell watch the first 20 seconds of 'Alwsys' 1989. Great firefighting movie. These guys drop out of nowhere. There's also no way in hell that a DJI mini 3 penetrated the leading edge of that wing without a rocket attached to it. Quit drinking the cook aid Joshua.
Fun view at the beginning

When does 05 come out? I'm scared to buy 04 this late in the cycle.
lol

Some of these questions are wild lol.
Do some research on your own and stop expecting the silver spoon

The ones I used worked just fine. Everything is there and beta-flight just establishes settings.
if your esc is a blheli_S most people would recommend changing firmware to bluejay if its not tbh just leave it alone and have fun
Keanu Reeves? Love the movie Knock Knock. But of course, the answer is The Matrix.
Never would have taken you for 49 man! 40 at best! lol

So what you are saying is that you are retired...
No. Plane hit the drone.
Regardless, it's on the unmanned craft to see and make way for the manned craft.
