I found out through my ancestry report that my late father was adopted from a young, poor blood relative of my grandparents in shinnston WV. My grandfather was a very private man and didn’t share anything about this with us. I had heard some things in the past about my dads “favorite aunt” from WV and my dad did mention this a few times but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I wish I had paid some attention to these things while he was still alive. My grandfather passed away last year, I found out things he didn’t tell me about his parents names and always wondered about the family he never wanted to talk about. I took the ancestry dna test and low and behold, I share dna with some people in shinniston WV!! Thanks for your video, I often wonder about how different life is in WV. I grew up in New York and have been living in Florida for the past 12 years now. Life is so very different all over our country, I find it so interesting ❤
