That frame stutter...is this how the gMe runs or is it a capture card thing?
Probably the capture card although it did have some frame drops in intensive fights. I haven’t gone back to the game since it’s had updates so they’ve perhaps sorted out a few of the issues.
The switch is a 2014 tablet cpu at this stage - cross-platform 3D games like this have most always had some issue. the developer can't really justify expensive optimisation for a title that is going to have insignificant sales on Switch imo.
Ok thanks for letting me know that. Does that mean the game should look like a GameCube/Wii title though? Especially since sales of this sort of game would probably do better on the Switch than they would on other consoles
@@DansDistillery Nintendo can put all their effort and know-how into optimising the switch for first-party 3D titles that are only going to appear on switch but even they fail on the switch like with Pokemon Scarlet which is poor. with cross platform development the low-end always suffers most - that's a story that plays out again and again. maybe we will see patches if the sales are decent. the blur is from dynamic resolution scaling to make the fps acceptable.
@@huzcerNintendo don’t make Pokémon games and they didn’t have anything to do with this game. Everyone knows the Switch isn’t the most powerful machine on the market right now but if you’ve used one then you’ll know what it can put out in terms of visuals. I’m not saying this game looks terrible but it should look better running on the Switch. There’s no ifs buts or maybes it’s just what it is. Hopefully they will patch the game though as I think it has potential to be very fun it’s just not optimised the best for the Switch right now.
@@DansDistillery Pokemon scarlet still published by Nintendo so under their watch and the dev will have access to Nintendo tools for coding and dev. cross-platform always similar as I said - lowend suffers most.
@@huzcer Published by them not developed that’s a Gamesfreak problem. Anyway in regards to this game hopefully they can patch it as in ‘my opinion’ it should look better than it does considering it’s not a graphically intensive game that’s pushing the Switch
I Can't figure out split screen on switch? Any help?
Hmm you should have 2 controllers connected, once in the game go to the pause menu and it have the split screen option there
Really? Yeah it just shows host local game. No split screen option.

@@dakotahcranford3262 No I just checked again and that option is now gone. Just has host local co-op now and online mode
