I agree with Chris, I think the Smilo Ren Sith like person will be one of the two mothers.
They'll build it up to where the good-hearted sister (Osha I believe is the good one) has an "I am your Mother" confrontation with Smilo Ren because they won't be able to resist trying to modernize the infamous "I am your father" scene for their own pleasure and retconning of Star Wars lore.
Oh and like Anakin needing to wear the Vader suit because of his burns on Mustafar, the mother will have burns from the coven fire, which is why she wears the Smilo Ren outfit lol.
Totally agree...It's was Kathleen's plan to change all of STAR WARS. Might as well put that helmet on her.
Can you believe they scrapped the scene of Chewie fighting Smilo Ren out of this episode and kept that useless scene of Sol killing the fly

I think it’s Karey Ann Moss’ character. Her death was fake in the beginning, she’s the bad guy. Also, I haven’t seen a minute of this show, so there’s that.

@@B-eg2oc The masculine is also gender-neutral in English traditionally. It was the go-to for video games that wanted to hide the gender of a characters/a neutral gendered character before 10 years ago. Examples: Samus Aran in Metroid and Popoi from Secret of Mana.
Alan is correct that in modern Str Wars when it comes to reveals always go for the idea with the least Imagination
In fairness, yellow lightsabers were a thing in the EU, usually associated with Temple Guardians & Sentinels. Kyle Katarn & even Luke Skywalker used them.
I've been saying the same thing about the dark warrior: they look feminine. Their gate is feminine, their shoulders look narrow, and Koril was not among the dead witches.
They going the same think, they did in that Widow movie, with the Taskmastercharacter. Male stunt actor, doing all the fights. Then when character takes off the mask, it's revealed to be a woman.
Yellow is supposed to be the color of a temple guard.
Not that Headcase isn't on the record saying she ignored any old canon meaning behind the colors of the lightsaber beams.
Green: Force focus
Blue: Martial focus
Yellow: Temple guard
Orange: Sort of a Jedi marshal following its own rules
Red: corrupted crystal, usually artifical
Purple: super rare, special crystal/Sam Jackson
White: purified crystal

Guys the smilo ren character is obviously one of the Jedi, probably a guy and then at the end it’s gonna be a revealed that the two sisters are going to come together you know, power of one power of two and then suddenly joined by their mothers the power of many they will all defeat the Jedi because the Jedi, as we all know the evil bad guys in Star Wars

The real tragedy is that with 8 episodes, they should of had 8 jedi go to take the kids.
That way they could have one jedi killed each episode.

The creators of this show are showing Moral Relativism - the view that moral judgments are true or false only relative to some particular standpoint. No heroes or villains, no good or bad, no truth. That's fine but it does not work in a heroic story. And not for Star Wars which is about upholding the higher good. The Acolyte is what you get when Star Wars is hollowed out and the morals, fun, adventure and truth are removed.
Chris Gore’s comment about so many Yellow Lightsabers had me thinking and I did some research and as far as I can tell; the color Yellow in respect to LGBTQAAIP+ community represents Non Binary.
Green represents someone who identifies as someone whose sexuality is beyond male-female
Blue represent attraction to opposite sex.
Red equals life and sexuality.
If the theory about the villain being one of the moms holds, the Red saber is indicative of that. As to which mother, key may be in dialog. If there’s so much non binary ideology present, then I can see this Sith actually absorbing or adsorbing the “threads” of all the coven into one, hence no physical injuries to the victims. I’m betting it’s YAZ as the villain. That’s my Queer Theory @Film Threat.

True, but he's not wrong, why people care is that each color told you something about the Jexi who weilded it, even Sam's. What gets me is the sheer laziness of these people who are spending more to make one episode than most will see their entire lives. When asked Leslie actually said, "Its just aesthetic." Well, isn't that boring...
@42Mrgreenman I mean I guess they could go into detail why a character has a yellow saber but it doesn't really matter at all why they do, lol. They never did in any of the other movies, it's always been EU stuff or BTS stuff that actually talks about the colors

@bruceyoungberg6771. Just because the wife/ girlfriend of the showrunner/ director appears in a show does not mean she is bad or untalented. Resident Evil and Underworld had female leads who were dating or married to the producer or director at the time and they were amazing action franchises. It boils down to the writing and direction, both which seems lacking on the Acolyte.

I think the witches infect the Force with their witchy ways, which turns any male evil if they try to use the force. I think they are setting it up so the Ahoska witches can poison the Force only to have Rey cleans it in her movie. Only by making themselves the most evil ones, can they make Rey look good by comparison. Along the way of course, they are going to destroy the Jedi and all males, so that only females can be heroic. They will probably go all-in, so Rey actually has to destroy the Force and reboot it. So she is the ultimate key to everything.
Smylo Ren has to be Mother Aniseya, if Headland is not completely brain-dead. Koril could not wear the helmet with horns, though it would have fit her character better. However Aniesya was pretty evil, and infected Torbin, which likely made him go evil and kill everyone. The others probably just helped cover it up.

They did the same thing with the Brotherhood in the first episode of Fallout. I may have missed it, but I don't recall anyone saying anything about it.
8:00 The only hints to the mothers is that we only saw the body of the balck mother in ep.3, and she seemed to be the liberal or light one, so that would make strict mother maul the dark one, hence she becomes Smilo Ren...

I like the "SmiloRen" moniker, but I think "JokerSith" is more apt. The modern Joker is Gen Z's 'misunderstood' anti-hero, so it kind of fits better. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a crazy cackle once the mask comes off.

Every time I hear “Osha,” I automatically think OSHA - The Occupational Safety & Health Administration. It’s a *terrible* name for a character, and I refuse to believe that NO ONE in the writers room, had that thought. I realize that I’m making a huge assumption here, and that is assuming that ANY of them has ever worked a real job. I look forward to the coming characters Dea (DEE-UH,) and Cia (SEE UH). It’s a new set of identical twins.
Actually, Mr. Gore, no. Not generically 'cute' until Disney stuck their female pronouns into Star Wars. There was always a hit of 'ugly' about them. The Ewoks were meat, including humanoid meat eaters, for example. ONLY Disney has actually dropped that from their corrupted vision of Star Wars.

They lost Basil?
Yord asking Osha for the gun but 2min later is "concerned" for her safety?
Killing a bug is bad?
Yord is no longer goofy?
Mae has a late change of heart once deep in the forest?
Oshawa has a change of heart after repeatedly saying she wasn't going to join the mission?
Jedi wookee found dead in his chair, he was totally surprised and didn't fight?
Why did it smell bad in the forest at some point, the bugs?

First of the hand of the Smilo Ren is a white hand, not black or green, thus the Smilo Ren is not Aniseya or Venestra or Koril. And a Zabrek would not wear a Helmet because of the Horns ( Maul and Savage Opress)
Sol is the Master, Qimir is the Apprentice and Sol is The Acolyte. He is the suspicious one in the show.
Sol trying to keep any info from the High Counsel, thus Dark
Qimir to assist with Mae, and Koril to turn Osha
Osha because Mae is too obvious and Osha killing Mae is the turning point to the Dark side...OR Osha killing Sol because he causes Mae's death, is the turning point to the Dark side!!!
Rewriting Star Wars with witches fixes everything. Plague’s power for life = witches thread. Anakin creation = witches thread with mom. Palpatine infiltrates the republic = witches pulling the “strings”. Padmae twins = witches. Rae Palpatine = actually the witches made her not Palpatine. “Somehow Palpatine returned” = Witches brought him back using thread to sew him back together from the deathstar explosion. What a twist lol! :D
Maybe they ripped off yellow lightsabers from KOTOR where Jedi sentinels (the roguish type of Jedi) used yellow light sabers.

Smilo Ren is not the ultimate Master. He is the Apprentice to Master Plagueis. It will be a last episode reveal. The girl is only an Acolyte / servent to Smilo. Plagueis needs the Dyad nonsense of the "twins" to live forever...until Palpy kills him in his sleep. LOL.

I'm new to the channel so I have to say this. I enjoy the content 'somewhat'. My only hold on fully liking it is because of Chris. He often seems to be a radical lacking sleep. Like he's had a bomb shelter since the 2k scare containing a board of pictures w/ string showing possible connections. Maybe if he cut down on coffees, coke & got some sleep, I could view him (& the show) differently.
The one poster with Jodi Turner-Smith has her totally Big Bad-coded (position relative to other characters, pose, etc.). She's gonna be Smylo Ren.
I think in order for it to follow along the truly bad writing path, they mystery reveal will have to be achieved unfairly; an incongruous plot twist. My money is on the green Jedi lady. She's gonna be revealed to be this mysterious Sith. A collective "pfft... please" is coming.

13:55 when I used to watch The Walking Dead I would call these "episodes between episodes". The boring setup to the flashy payoff type episodes.
As they mention, the Jedi are being portrayed as the police. And what they implied is the Jedi started by harassing the coven and threatening to take their kids. Then, there will be the flashback where Sol explains to OSHA what actually happened and how the Jedi's negligence and/or aggression led to the coven being killed. The whole show will be a BLM-type story about police brutality. That's why the show was written for Amandla Stenberg, this is right in her activist wheelhouse.
Cmon Chris the big bad cannot be a whammen....the deseased mothers will appear as force/thread ghosts to defeat the male sith, and unite the sisters. Of course everyone will conveniently forget that Mae murdered 2 masters. She didnt kill the Wookie, smily ren did....i think this is a good hypothesis....carry on

Can Disney sustain this failure much longer? Or is this garbage making money? How many of you are hate watching this garbage and making the viewership strong? I cancelled my subscription after Ahsoka and have no interest in watching this.
This show gets worse with every episode. It’s so ridiculous that it almost feels intentional. Not even AI could write something this random, lazy, and just awful.
Qimir is officially only in episode 2 and 4 and then gone. However, Mae didn't kill him. From this fact it needs to be assumed that his role as Qimer has gone, and now he becomes the Master. It's lame and random but typical Disney, too.
Violating canon pisses hardcore fans off. Bad storylines piss all viewers off. Poorly written and acted characters piss all viewers off. Irrational and inconsistent behavior pisses all viewers off. Pronouns piss all but a tiny fraction of viewers off. So even the smallest element in the show achieves the creators' goal of pissing fans off. It is a finely crafted masterpiece, that puts Jessica Gao's amateurish She-Hulk in the shade.
He/them? So it's male when it's a subject and plural/neutral when it's an object? Doesn't make any sense.
Remember this is a galaxy far far away, so it's only natural they'd be suffering the same pronoun insanity as our own.

You know what's worse is that the Sith might be the apprentice, not the master.
Remember how Leslye Headland was explaining what the acolyte is? The apprentice of the apprentice who helps overthrow the master. The show is about the acolyte - presumeably Mae, that makes her master the apprentice.
So that's their big twist, Qimir is the Sith apprentice in episode 4, and the Sith master is one of the mothers.
This just makes me want to cry. Why did you do this to something we completely adored. I hated the force awakens. And its been all down hill from there. Culminating with this hot garbage

Might be an unpopular opinion but these type of disney characters dont bother me 🤣 maybe its cuz my kid likes the ugly space creatures but if the goal is just pushing plushies im not mad at it! I only enjoyed the first season of mando but my daughter has a ton of grogu merch!! If the show was good honestly pip and bazil mightve been great merch🤣
This is Disney Star Wars, so if the "Sith" master is more powerful than the jedi it has to be a woman. She's probably misunderstood and will turn to the light at the last minute like Vader. Because of course a woman did it before and better yaasssss.
