For this being the second highest trim level for the Traverse, I would have to say it's pretty nice. One of my uncles has an Equinox LTZ; it's pretty similar to this, with the only difference being that it has the wood paneling. I must say, Chevrolet has made leaps and bounds in terms of their quality over these last couple years.
yes! very. i have a 2010 .i have pulled a 7000 trailer from L.A. 4 times.never had a problem.it ia a monster on the freeway.awesome for long road trips.i traded in 2 toyotas for mine i love it the 2 wheel drive is awesome on gas.now i have 111.000miles on mine and NO problems.test drive one you will love it..
@corvetteboy10 Actually you can. Yes, it needs to be locked to use the remote start, but you can use the remote to then unlock the car once it is running. When you get in the car, you just have to put the key in the ignition and turn it-- not all the way though. The car turns off after about 10 minutes using the remote start, so if you get to the car before that time, you dont need to turn the car off in order to start it again and drive away.
@VegetaXFinalFlash I believe all the trims have an aux port at least so yes. You need the connect package for the USB. Bluetooth is standard as of 2012 as well.
@rml695 The Traverse was just released in 2009, so it really isn't that old. However the Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia have been out since 2007, and the Buick Enclave has been out since 2008-- and all of them are essentially the same as the Traverse. Auto manufacturers tend to go 5-7 years before any major redesign. It can go longer (or shorter) though depending on many factors.
It is a strange feeling to admit publicly that the Chevy Traverse is in many ways a design which is pleasant to look at, and it is even more so surprising, because I'm not otherwise enamored with the crossover segment. Still, an unbiased observer has to notice that GM at the end made major strides both in its design work and product quality. Alas all is not well, since GM does no longer provide a domestic price advantage to its long suffering NA customers. PS I love this colour-combination.
I saw the engine "segment" and wondered how hard it would be to replace a battery or do general repairs to these vehicles. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too much fun.
@MrGarryMurphy96 Remote start is more of a feature to warm your car up in the winter and cool it down in the summer.... Not really to start it up and go. As you may have noticed, he locked and set the alarm before he started it. Hence, you can't really drive it.
This car has Bluetooth and XM Satellite Radio. The 2013 has been redesigned, I suggest that if you're buying new, that you check out the redesigned 13'
My wife had a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx and the only good thing was the strong 3.5L V6. Everything else fell apart. Real POS car. We'll never buy another. Great review tho, Kyle!!
+Saabklye04 you failed to mention one very important thing about the cargo space of this vehicle. You showed that the 3rd row folds down flat but you failed to show that the 2nd row captains chairs ALSO fold down flat giving the SUV more cargo space that anything in it's class. That a big selling point to this vehicle. I have a 2011 model that looks just like this (except for the interior leather which is dark grey) and I absolutely love it.
Is it just me or does it seem like this has been around long enough to acquire a refresh or redesign? I like it as/is? But it feels kind of old for some reason.
Very nice video , I have a freind of mine who has a Chevy Traverse and Sonic but the Traverse is a 2017 and the sonic is a 2015 the sonic is silver and the Traverse is red
@mitchman2100 yeah that's what they like to do. GM would design one vehicle in a segment and just throw a different badge on it across all brands. That's part of the reason why Oldsmobile, Saturn, and Pontiac got killed.
nice video! Can you please do the E90 M3 (I've seen a white E90 M3 Sedan at Henderick BMW in your video when you were reviewing X5M, M6 and etc)... Thanks!!
Enclave is a platform mate to the Traverse and Acadia, so it's not a copy cat but very closely related, i thought everyone knew Chevy, Buick, Cadillac and GMC were the same company?
@saabkyle04 Hey Kyle I have a question, You've really inspired me to go out and make video's on car's like this, my question is if I did would I be accused of copying you?
I dont understand why GM still puts this old nav unit in some of their cars, they should all be the up to date units that are available on the Cruze, LaCrosse etc...
the 2009-present (North America) 2012-(Latin America) Chevrolet Traverse was/is assembled in Spring Hill, Tennessee, United States (2008-2009) Delta Township, Michigan, United States (2010-present)
when i came here me family rented one and i really miss it, so thx for doing the tour! nice job kyle!!

I've always wanted this vehicle and never got to own one. Its one of my favorite vehicles besides the Lincoln Town Car.
That's the ONLY in-dash storage compartment with a release that isn't completely counter-intuitive. Well done, GM.
just got back from LA, family had one of these as a rental from Hertz. Such a lovely car.
Had a Traverse as a rental in Florida. What a good car, really! Video on my profile.

you are best for depth tours!!
I hope you get to do the new 2018 Traverse High Country !!!

Yes they do. They seats also recline, and go forward and aft. and they have the smart slide functionality
Grandfather has one but his is a dark purple. It's a very nice ride.

This is a nice family car. Pretty safe! (2012 standards)
I'm thinking of get used 2012 Chevy Traverse.
Can you do a review of a 2014 Chevy Traverse LS?
"without further ado"
Ha
I really love the Traverse. Hoping to trade in my TrailBlazer in for one in the next year or so!

I love the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT
Marlo Meyers-Barer me too.
@Drew Barer me four
@hottdylan1993 you have to remember how large this crossover is compared to the others in the segment
I really like the exterior color, my Toyota Camry has a very similar shade of red.
great video but can include the price of MSRP also in the videos?
This is like...this..this is my car. Literally same everything! Whoa!
Awesome! Guess it's not a bad replacement for the TrailBlazer but I do miss the TrailBlazer(we have one). Great vid as always Kyle!
LS is the basic trim so of course there is not going to be any options on it, you have to get a LT or LTZ to get the options you want.
Hey Kyle can you do a review on the new 2014 Traverse and do a how to video on how to change your radio presets on the Chevrolet MyLink system
@MrGarryMurphy96 Remote start is more of a feature to warm your car up in the winter and cool it down in the summer.... Not really to start it up and go. As you may have noticed, he locked and set the alarm before he started it. Hence, you can't really drive it.
The anti minivan LoL but GM has really stepped up. Great job as always from another SaabKyle04 production ;)
@ 7:15 I couldn't help but dance! I LOVED INXS
This car has Bluetooth and XM Satellite Radio. The 2013 has been redesigned, I suggest that if you're buying new, that you check out the redesigned 13'
actually Saturn was defunct in October 31, 2010. They were nice cars, especially the 2008-2010s
I have a 2012 Traverse and pulled up this video to prove to a friend that they do 281 horsepower
My wife had a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx and the only good thing was the strong 3.5L V6. Everything else fell apart. Real POS car. We'll never buy another. Great review tho, Kyle!!
Its an alright SUV, we have alot of them in our fleet at Budget. they work.
+Saabklye04 you failed to mention one very important thing about the cargo space of this vehicle. Russ H. He was Trying to Explain to you
Best review ever!
are you sure thats not the LTZ? I thought the LTZ trim level is better than the LT trim level
My parents have the Acadia, and the smart slide system is handy, but the floor mats get in the way.
Barobran92 So does my sister
If GM can make the Traverse w/ seats that fold flat, then they also do the same for the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade
Wow Chevy Traverse Interior Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia
I HATE the buick enclave
@anh do duc and also the Saturn outlook.
the transmission on the 2009-present (North America) 2011- (Latin America)

Can't wait for the 650i Coupe' review.
Amazing
@yellowcow13 I agree, it really needs a redesign right now
Nice! We love Chevrolet. :)
@corvetteboy10 I'm only familiar with GM remote start systems, not sure if Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep work similarly or not.
noise look like opel antara and captiva shape looks like captiva.
is this real chevy or dawoo based chevy ?
They placed the blind spot mirrors in the wrong spot. You see more of the blind spot if they are located in the inner part of the mirror.
This is my dream car because my kids will love the rear entertainment system YEEHAW Chevy
Is it just me or does it seem like this has been around long enough to acquire a refresh or redesign? I like it as/is? But it feels kind of old for some reason.
I love it!! Red is my favorite color in cars!!! HOW MUCH $ ?
Very nice video , I have a freind of mine who has a Chevy Traverse and Sonic but the Traverse is a 2017 and the sonic is a 2015 the sonic is silver and the Traverse is red
nice blue in the speedometer and red!
Hands down 100% the Acadia SLT2 or the Acadia Denali ;-)
@mitchman2100 yeah that's what they like to do. GM would design one vehicle in a segment and just throw a different badge on it across all brands. That's part of the reason why Oldsmobile, Saturn, and Pontiac got killed.

Acadia looks better than the Traverse, since they are like the same Crossover, I would choose the Fully loaded Silver Acadia Denali and call it a day.
@5315andrebras We don't have the Chevrolet Orlando in the US
أجمل سيارات جنرال موتورز 😭
it used to own pontiac too
Enclave is a platform mate to the Traverse and Acadia, so it's not a copy cat but very closely related, i thought everyone knew Chevy, Buick, Cadillac and GMC were the same company?

@saabkyle04 Hey Kyle I have a question, You've really inspired me to go out and make video's on car's like this, my question is if I did would I be accused of copying you?

As an addition, GM only has 4 Core Brands in the United States, Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC.
A little cheap, but a really good car to have!
the 2009-present (North America) 2012-(Latin America) Chevrolet Traverse was/is assembled in
Spring Hill, Tennessee, United States (2008-2009)
Delta Township, Michigan, United States (2010-present)
