my last fragrance purchase was Guess noir seductive (yes you ;)) curiosity got me. and I frekin love it. I also received Roberto cavalli uomo with this purchase. This is considered mens. It went straight to the top for me. 🥰 Also prior to this was moschino toy boy(black bottle) which has become such a joy to me of a rose scent.
Moschino Toy Boy Bubblegum... A little bit disappointing. It's smell bubblegum only few minutes :( But the dry down is a little bit powdery and musky, close to the skin. Nice but not amazing.

I don’t have any of these you mentioned but a few are on my wishlist…my first and only fragrance with a lactonic accord is wanted girl and I absolutely love it. Some say it’s boring and generic but I find white complex. It’s made me want to get my nose on poison girl, and hypnotic poison as well.🥰
Ooooh, I think you will probably like those two by Dior as well, then! Or you might like one much more than the other - I like them both, though they are quite different from each other. Both staple Designer scents IMO. 👌🏼
My most gourmand lactonic perfume I have is Zadig & Voltaire this is her. I blind bought it because Jeremy Fragrance said it was sexy 😅 but it gives me a headache. It smells like whipped cream, actually more like Cool whip because it’s kind of strong and artificial smelling, but it does smell good. My last purchase was La nuit Tresor nude which is probably considered lactonic too I guess. It’s really good and doesn’t give me a headache. I’ve been trying to find a good coconut for summer but it’s not quite there for that, but I’m glad I have it. I also got Angel crossier but still not coconutty enough, but it’s fruity lactonic.
This is her is my faaave ❤️ But I do know what you mean by it smelling strong and artificial in a way. La nuit tresor nude looks nice! Headache inducing scents are definitely a no-go😅 Thanks for sharing, Emily! 🤗
Bois dore Van cleef and Arpels was the last perfume I bought, it's a very sexy woody vanilla, love it. Treating myself to Orchidee vanille next😇. Yes I am sounds delicious, saw it at Walgreens, am definitely picking it up too. Thanks as always for your recommendations. I have poison girl, it's my easiest reach perfume for sure. Sweet and sexy without trying too hard🥰
Hmm 🤔 I have a sample of DKNY Stories and I remember thinking it was really pretty but it’s been awhile and I want to retest it! I have the same mixed feelings about Womanity and I only own a travel spray of it.. I use it for layering when a scent isn’t quite salty enough for me Lol

I'm not sure what to make of DKNY Storiea either. I accidentally bought a perfume pen instead of a travel spray and am not sure if I like it or not. I probably need to get a spray sample. The idea of milk mousse, guava, and iris is appealing to me. Would love to hear more thoughts on Stories!

Loving all your videos specielly about the coconut scents. i also used to love coconut but got tired of all the cheap coconut scents in shampoos and stuff that put me off. The perfum that both men and women has stopped me for to ask what im wearing is (By the Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela) ive never had so much of attention for a perfume before. Yes, it's exactly that that did it for me too I think! Love it! I always overlook those Cacharel bottles in the store but now I’ll have to take a closer look. Latest purchase was Gris Dior and I love it but 💸😅so I should probably pump the brakes for a bit… maybe 🤣

Amber Oud Tobacco is definitely a dupe for TF Tobacco Vanille, but it is not a 100% dead on dupe. It definitely leans spicier, which I actually prefer. The opening is a little challenging, but once it settles down it is such a lovely, unisex tobacco fragrance. You are right, it is very fall appropriate. I also find it has way better performance than the OG Tobacco Vanille, so I reach for the Al Harimain more now that I own it. Ok, I LOVE Womanity from Mugler, so now I have to track down that DKNY hahaha. I like challenging sour notes, and animalics so that sounds right up my alley lol

Yes, DKNy Stories is a bit of an odd one! I have a small 30ml bottle and that’s enough for me! Last time I tried it was in the colder weather soI I would have to try it again. I think it’s one that is strong and needs to be lightly sprayed I still need to get Poison Girl, but I did get the Unexpected version a few months ago and that one is nice. I had a sample of the original and did a side by side compar and realized I need the original as well....welp! 😅
"that's enough for me" 😂 Yup! I am in your position reversed - I'm now interested in unexpected 😅 Are they quite different from each other, to your nose?
@@CharlotteRossx The Unexpected version has the fresher burst of Ginger, but it maintains that fresher quality that combines with the gourmand notes. The original, in contrast seems a little darker as the focus is on the gourmand base after the bitter orange opening. I just assumed the Unexpected just had the addition of the Ginger and then it was the same, but that one maintains a lighter tone based on the notes, in comparison. So argh...yes, I guess I need them both!
Yay for Yes I Am! I bought it when it launched because Amor Amor was my signature so I had trust in Cacharel. It's so unspoken of though I love when it gets a mention. It's as good as Prada candy or V&R bonbon which aren't the same but are equal in quality and vibe. But Yes I am is way cheaper

I own a dupe of Yes I Am, and I would love to get the original if I can find it. It's the milk and cardamom combo that does it for me. I don't know if it's just the dupe, but the raspberry smells freeze dried to me somehow? It isn't juicy or super tart, just a zing of powdery artificial fruit somewhere in there, which I really like.

@@CharlotteRossx It's My Only Wish by La Rive, a polish brand that has many dirt cheap dupes. They have a very interesting one; Miss Dream, which is supposed to be a dupe of Good Girl, but is awesome as its own fragrance. It has a milk note, and the top is very jammy blackcurrant, with a tonka and vanilla drydown. I think you might like that one a lot if you're okay with lots of blackcurrant. It does smell like Good Girl, the way a kid is like her mature sister, older by ten years.
The last fragrance I bought was floral street Arizona bloom (coming in the mail today, fingers crossed I like it) and the next fragrance on my to buy list is Vilhelm perfumerie mango skin 😍
I have never smelled Tobacco Vanille so I can’t say, unfortunately! If it is like the al haramain amber oud tobacco I would say it’s unisex leaning ever so slightly masculine. 😊

Is that the Yes I am glorious one? If so, I smelled it briefly in stores. I found it nice enough but less special than the original Yes I am. I just wished it was more milky (Yes I Am Glorious) but then again, I only smelled it briefly in stories so it's hard to tell in terms of dry down.

I was literally looking into Lost Cherry yesterday because I love the scent dupe by belayered and am running out of my decant sample(but don't love their formulations as much as the originals)... it's so expensive! So I have heard that so scandal and la vie a belle intensement are like raspberry pudding. Which one more so is like raspberry pudding, which one is more delectable? How does it compare to that lipstick frag?
I've never heard of the raspberry pudding comparison but I can see that! I would say the LveB intensement is way closer to that lipstick frag vibe - You need to like that powdery accord (heliotrope/iris/benzoin create it in this case). So Scandal has just as prominent of a raspberry but you need to like white florals for that one! They are quite different in that sense. So Scandal - Creamy, sweet, white floral with bubblegum opening. LveB intensement - Powdery, sweet, a bit more gourmand. ❤️ EDITED BECAUSE WOW OK SORRY You meant the fragrance in the lipstick bottle, not a "lipstick fragrance" 😂😅 - In that case I would say the most Gourmand out of the three to me would probably be the Yes I am by Cacharel (the lipstick frag 🥴❤️)
Hi Marjorie! I don't find it too masculine leaning because of the warm sweetness present - though I do find it perfectly UNISEX which, for some, can translate as too masculine. The spices are strong but they are balanced out by sweetness and vanilla which I think will read as "more feminine" in colder weather. I will update as I test (I haven't been wearing it in the summer but I anticipate wearing it A LOT in the fall).

I don’t have any of these you mentioned but a few are on my wishlist…my first and only fragrance with a lactonic accord is wanted girl and I absolutely love it. Some say it’s boring and generic but I find white complex. It’s made me want to get my nose on poison girl, and hypnotic poison as well.🥰
Ooooh, I think you will probably like those two by Dior as well, then! Or you might like one much more than the other - I like them both, though they are quite different from each other. Both staple Designer scents IMO. 👌🏼

My most gourmand lactonic perfume I have is Zadig & Voltaire this is her. I blind bought it because Jeremy Fragrance said it was sexy 😅 but it gives me a headache. It smells like whipped cream, actually more like Cool whip because it’s kind of strong and artificial smelling, but it does smell good. My last purchase was La nuit Tresor nude which is probably considered lactonic too I guess. It’s really good and doesn’t give me a headache. I’ve been trying to find a good coconut for summer but it’s not quite there for that, but I’m glad I have it. I also got Angel crossier but still not coconutty enough, but it’s fruity lactonic.

Bois dore Van cleef and Arpels was the last perfume I bought, it's a very sexy woody vanilla, love it. Treating myself to Orchidee vanille next😇. Amber Oud Tobacco is definitely a dupe for TF Tobacco Vanille, but it is not a 100% dead on dupe. It definitely leans spicier, which I actually prefer. The opening is a little challenging, but once it settles down it is such a lovely, unisex tobacco fragrance. You are right, it is very fall appropriate. I also find it has way better performance than the OG Tobacco Vanille, so I reach for the Al Harimain more now that I own it. Ok, I LOVE Womanity from Mugler, so now I have to track down that DKNY hahaha. I like challenging sour notes, and animalics so that sounds right up my alley lol

Yes, DKNy Stories is a bit of an odd one! I have a small 30ml bottle and that’s enough for me! Last time I tried it was in the colder weather soI I would have to try it again. I think it’s one that is strong and needs to be lightly sprayed
I still need to get Poison Girl, but I did get the Unexpected version a few months ago and that one is nice. I had a sample of the original and did a side by side compar and realized I need the original as well....welp! 😅

@@CharlotteRossx The Unexpected version has the fresher burst of Ginger, but it maintains that fresher quality that combines with the gourmand notes. The original, in contrast seems a little darker as the focus is on the gourmand base after the bitter orange opening. I just assumed the Unexpected just had the addition of the Ginger and then it was the same, but that one maintains a lighter tone based on the notes, in comparison. So argh...yes, I guess I need them both!

Yay for Yes I Am! I bought it when it launched because Amor Amor was my signature so I had trust in Cacharel. It's so unspoken of though I love when it gets a mention. It's as good as Prada candy or V&R bonbon which aren't the same but are equal in quality and vibe. But Yes I am is way cheaper

I own a dupe of Yes I Am, and I would love to get the original if I can find it. It's the milk and cardamom combo that does it for me. I don't know if it's just the dupe, but the raspberry smells freeze dried to me somehow? It isn't juicy or super tart, just a zing of powdery artificial fruit somewhere in there, which I really like.

They have a very interesting one; Miss Dream, which is supposed to be a dupe of Good Girl, but is awesome as its own fragrance. It has a milk note, and the top is very jammy blackcurrant, with a tonka and vanilla drydown. I think you might like that one a lot if you're okay with lots of blackcurrant. It does smell like Good Girl, the way a kid is like her mature sister, older by ten years.
I have heard good things about La Rive :) Miss Dream does sound good to me - I'll look into it. ❤️

So I have heard that so scandal and la vie a belle intensement are like raspberry pudding. Which one more so is like raspberry pudding, which one is more delectable? How does it compare to that lipstick frag?
I've never heard of the raspberry pudding comparison but I can see that! I would say the LveB intensement is way closer to that lipstick frag vibe - You need to like that powdery accord (heliotrope/iris/benzoin create it in this case). So Scandal has just as prominent of a raspberry but you need to like white florals for that one! They are quite different in that sense. So Scandal - Creamy, sweet, white floral with bubblegum opening. LveB intensement - Powdery, sweet, a bit more gourmand. ❤️

You meant the fragrance in the lipstick bottle, not a "lipstick fragrance" 😂😅 - In that case I would say the most Gourmand out of the three to me would probably be the Yes I am by Cacharel (the lipstick frag 🥴❤️)

Do you find tobacco edition to masculin leaning, can a woman be comfortable wearing this ?
Hi Marjorie! I don't find it too masculine leaning because of the warm sweetness present - though I do find it perfectly UNISEX which, for some, can translate as too masculine. The spices are strong but they are balanced out by sweetness and vanilla which I think will read as "more feminine" in colder weather. I will update as I test (I haven't been wearing it in the summer but I anticipate wearing it A LOT in the fall).
