Your videos are my #1 go to when I am trying to show a friend how useful scopes are. You have a great way of highlighting the power of a scope that anyone can understand.
Great vid Ravi. I am new to a lot of this, and I like the theory part, along with seeing affordable equipment that I have in use. Also, you deserve an award for the best presentation with a brake clean nozzle!
Hi Ravi please, make a video on your findings and also teach us the theory for how to analyze inclinder pressure pulse for valve diagnosis... Your videos are great source of learning and helping a lot, so don't take too much time for coming out with a new video 😊 ❤❤❤
High Ravi, your videos are very interesting, i wonder if you can correlate intake, exhaust and pressure waveforms as a hole to make a decision about the condition of an engine..
I think you get confused with this explanation. Anyway those 2 waveforms I used in this video are not on a same car. Pressure pulse wave form is taken on an other car and in cylinder pressure wave for is from another car, I just try to explain pressure change in the exhaust pipe .

My pleasure.
Brilliant Ravi, you have helped me understand the pulse overlay much better.
Thank you Grunter
Excellent explanation & use of new technology 💪💪
Excellent presentation bro. It's crazy, I made the call on where the misfire was before you put up the overlay chart. Scoping is an addiction. Lol.
You are right my friend. Scoping is an addiction, also it made mechanic life easy and accurate.

😂😂It took me a moment to pick up on the brake clean nozzle comment
Thank you my friend.
Thanks for the knowledge you have provided to us

Will try
Ravi, would the waveforms be the same with the pulse sensor in the dipstick? I'm learning so much from these hscope videos! Thank you 👍🏼
Pressure pulse waveforms are almost same.
But this engine is not running right now, is it? If you have a running engine than you would see pulses upwards?
Its on mode 6 generic obd2.
Make one video intake puls
Nice. But what was the actual cause ?
It was a mechanical issue that poorly opened intake valve caused to misfire. It reveals by an intake pressure pulse analysis.

I don’t really get why there is a vacuum in the cylinder if the cylinder is combusting

@@ravifixall Is that pulse waveform from a Running engine?
