I have a Dell Latitude E7240 which powers on but no display and no hdmi output, when I plug the charger in the system boots up without display: - Power button led comes on - Hard drive led flashes once very quickly - Battery led comes on for one second - After 4 seconds the power button led goes off - After another 4 seconds the power button led comes back on and stays on, the hard drive led flashes once very quickly The green leds on the actual msata SSD light up If I leave the system in this state then the cpu and heatsinks get hot and eventually the fans will spin (but still no display) Pressing the power button once will turn off the system (cpu will cool down, msata leds will turn off) I’ve tried the following: - Performed hard reset / static discharge, disconnected and checked cmos battery (3v on multimeter) - Replaced RAM, msata, screen with known working - Tried booting while holding down ESC, D, FN keys - Tried HDMI output (no output) I’d really appreciate any other suggestions / tips, could it be a corrupt bios? hi there, in my point of view, one must checking with vga port 1st. then display cable and voltageof the display i/o. then go with board procedure. now coming to point. that capacitor mostly belongs to ITE chip. like touchpad or keyboard. hope it helped. thank you
Mera computer 1-2 minutes ke liye display deta hai uske baad display chali jaati hai. Yadi turant use fir se on karo to bar bar on-off on-off hota rahta hai. Yadi thidi der rest ke baad on karo to fir 1-2 minutes ke liye display aata hai. Kya problem ho sakti hai.
