Wowzers Wollawa! Thanks for sharing. Folks like you post up these great locations/roads and I add them to my list of “must see, must ride” The list is getting pretty darn big 😳😜 Great video Dewey!
Dude. Every time I check one spot off, I find two new ones I want to add. Wallowa is awesome, for you, there is a ton of forest service area and off-road rides around there as well. You could set up base camp and spend a week riding FS roads around there.
It really is a pretty area, that is for sure. Although, on your AK trip, you rode through some really amazing areas, I did the AK trip in 2015, that is a proper adventure.
Awesome video! Absolutely gorgeous riding out West. Those fajitas looked easy af but I gotta ask, what model is your tent? That thing is vertically girthy. So much room for activities! 😂 Thanks for sharing Dewey. Keep ‘em coming.
Ya. We are very lucky and blessed out here with the natural beauty and wide open places. Tent is a Big Agnes, Copper Spur UL2 Bike Packing tent. Thanks for watching and commenting it means the world to me!
@@DeweyRides I’m trying to grow my own channel so I am going to try to send a few more subscribers your way. They’re out on your side of the U.S. as well.
*_Dude Spaztech just told me about this channel. This is excellent news, Sub. I passed on a ride up to LOLO Pass to go ride with Spaztech in Colorado. It's at the top of my list for next year._*
Lolo pass is awesome. If you haven't done it. There is a unpaved route that is part of the IDBDR that runs basically the same route as Lolo pass, that is unbelievable. If you ride off-road it is a must do, even more so than Lolo pass.
Screw you, Dewey! Now I'm hungry for some fajitas!!! That lake is picturesque, and it looked like you covered like 300 miles to get there, LOL! Great video :D
Ya I think close to 300 miles sounds right. Haha. The fajitas are a pretty good camp meal, and having a fresh pepper or onion makes all the difference in it feeling like a real meal.
Ya. I use it for lots of things. Makes it easy to get protein in a camp meal and no need to refrigerate. So I can carry multiple days if food. Glad you enjoyed. It's a beautiful place.
Thanks Eric. I just think of it as another motorcycle trip. It's what I do, I don't know any different. Just you wait, the epic stuff is still to come.
Rad ride! I camped there many time when I was a little boy. I joking say we stopped when my mom was banned after nearly setting the campground on fire. Ha ha. I’ll share that story with you sometime.
It's a great moto camp meal. So easy to pack. You can add a fresh onion as well, when I make it for two I always do an onion and pepper to make sure I have enough. But that stuff can all travel stuffed in a pannier for several days with no problem.
Ya. Really. A small pan and a stove can get you a long ways. A lot of time I only use either the pan or the pot for myself. But I do like having both because I have options. The Sea-to-Summit stuff I have is awesome, but it isn't the cheapest around. If you are going to use it a lot, it's easy to justify. If you use it once a year, it's a lot harder to spend the money.
I enjoyed making that one. I have ridden that route many times, and every time I do it, it is a real treat. And the view of the lake is always worth the trip!
Nice roads, forest and flowing water and that Skyline in the distance...marvelous. What are you doing for "AUDIO" I don't here any wind noise on your video. Bro...I thought I had great roads in my back yard...this place is amazing.
Ya. It's a beautiful ride through there, I ride it every year, it never gets old. For audio...I use a less sensitive mic than the normal lav mics. Then I use two tools in post. Alex Audio Butler, which has an automatic compressor and does auto volume leveling. Then I also use a noise reduction plug-in called Waves Clarity VX. Between the setting in the two plug-ins, I can dial the audio to handle a lot of different situations even after the fact. @roadreality has done videos on both plug-ins , him and I talk and help each other out with settings and such to get things as good as we can.
@DeweyRides thanks for sharing the information and I'll check out the equipment you mentioned. Yes if I dislike the wind noise I know the audience does as well...
@@DeweyRides it does, it was in the high 80’s this summer, just a couple weeks ago we were in the 70’s. It changes over really quick around this time of year. Sequim can hit 100 but usually we are around 75- 85

Awesome scenery, perfectly executed motovlog. I love Crater Lake too but to me this looks just as good 👍
Outstanding sir 🙌♥️
Ya. It is beautiful! I could go to either of them, over and over, and always enjoy it. Thank you and glad you enjoyed it!
@@DeweyRides it was awesome and I guess you’re a chef 👩🍳 too lol 😂
Hahaha. Well I do cook every meal when I camp. So I guess I am a chef, not a gourmet chef, mind you.

Always appreciated. It is so hard to grow and get people to find us small channels. I really do appreciate anything that helps!!!!!

Lolo Pass.... I so remember that! So thankful we got to see that beauty in person! 💜🤗

Thanks for telling us about Lake Wallowa! So pretty!!🤩
Ya. It is stunning. Just out of nowhere, those mountains just appear. It's one of my very favorite places.
Beautiful...just beautiful....enjoy your meal.
Nothing better than a hot meal that isn't freeze dried, after a long day in the saddle. That was a very good night. :-)
And you got to camp at the lake!! Dang man, you’re doing it right!!!
Ya. It's a busy campground but it is right where the little river flows into the lake. It's a neat place, but it isn't really remote.

I seriously can't wait to come back and ride there again. It's so beautiful!
You need to. You need to plan a day off there and go ride the tram up to the peak and spend some time at the lake. ;-)
Oh man those twisties are absolutely amazing dude !
Ya. That's an awesome day. turns go on and on and on.
That's some beautiful scenery. It looks like summer. Really well made video as well. Nicely paced out.
This was summer. ;-). I film so much on these trips, it takes a lot to catch up and spit it into videos. Thanks for the comment!!!

Great production as always mate, a pleasure to watch!
The areas that yourself and Tomek get to, just amazing! ✌️
Ya. We are pretty lucky. The western US has a huge variety of places to go to, and a ton of unique areas to go ride in. Glad you enjoyed it!

Voila....Chef 🧑🍳 Dewey! 🍺 I actually like cooking with 🍷 wine.... And sometimes I even add it to the food I'm preparing LOL

Ya. It is such a beautiful place, they call it The Oregon Alps for a reason. Have you been there, or the Lolo pass route? Or both?
72? damn, it was 57 in Sequim. lol

Also, this was filmed pretty early in the summer. I doubt it is that warm over there now. But they don't have the ocean to keep everything cool.
