I enjoy finishes as well. It feels sometimes like the community is flooded with previews of kits that never get worked on. The kits that are finished show an enjoyment of the craft not just the fomo for continually purchasing and not finishing. I am really going to focus this year on crafting instead of buying. I have so many beautiful kits-and more that I have ordered in the last couple of weeks coming. I just want to enjoy them by working through my stash…and I enjoy seeing you working on kits that you enjoy as well.
I absolutely LOVED this full review/start to finish format, and would certainly like to see more like this when practical to do so. Great stuff, thanks Katie! ✨️🐲
I absolutley love this style of video. One thing that gets on my nerves is a bunch of "sneak peeks" but waiting forever to see the person work on it or finish it. I absolutley love this format of video
I really enjoy start to finish videos! I'll admit that I don't usually watch unboxings unless it's from a small shop or a kit I'm on the fence about getting. Seeing the finished project is always fun since it can sometimes be a while before we get to work on it. I bought this kit in squares on bf and am excited to get it! 🐉
I really enjoyed this "start to finish" video! So often I see the unboxing, but not the completion. Also, your comments are fresh in your mind this way. 🤩
I really enjoy start to finish kit videos. Maybe even brief input between the start and finish on how it's going!! Would absolutely love to see you do more of them. Thanks Katie for trying new stuff on you channel ❤
Love love love this type of start-to-finish video. I honestly don't particularly care for unboxing videos (particularly from companies I already know and trust), but seeing the finished product is 100% what I am all about. Great video!
Dear Katie! Thank you for taking us along through the whole process. I do enjoy all of your videos. So if you are having fun producing some of them from the unboxing until the finish, just do it. I especially loved this kit. Normally I am not a dragon person but this one is really cute and I enjoyed the colors as well. Keep up doing what you enjoy!
I love seeing things like this. First looks/sneak peeks are fun, but I love seeing the progress and finish of a kit as well. Sometimes I end up wanting a piece after I see it start to finish more than if I saw just the unboxing.
I loved the start to finish! Whenever you have the time to do this it will be nice but I still love the other ways you do it as well. I guess I love both. Whichever way is better for you at the time. I will tune in to watch!!
I love love love this format, Katie!! Great video - so helpful to follow soup to nuts AND thank goodness I’m not the only one who is challenged by massive light color color-blocking. 😊❤
I like to see a start to finish video from time to time. I totally understand not being able to do one for larger canvases. If you want to do a start to finish video every so often that would be awesome! I enjoyed this video!
I did enjoy a start to finish. Not practical for allnew releases, but fun to see what you’re working on and I like your feedback on small shops. Cute dragon! ❤
The start to finish was so fun! Loved it. Obviously understand this isn’t possible for all kits but would love to see it again for a kit that works for you to do it. I’ve been tempted by this series of kits from Diamond Artisan but honestly the colour blocked background kept me away. Love the artwork though and I’m happy to see it finished!!! 🐉💕
I enjoyed the start to finish. There are so many kits shown, but not a lot of finishes. Being a newer addict, I love to see finishes too. I’m going to look at this company.
This kit is adorable! For kits that have been out for a while, I don't mind a start to finish video like this (of course I always skip over the drills, so i have to be at my computer to do that instead of just listening). But for newer stuff, I like the unboxing sooner to help me decide if I want to buy it!
Love this one! Have looked at it myself and thought about getting it so this video with both unboxing and working on it and review was perfect for me!! ❤ Would not mind more of those at all but also because we have a lot of similar tastes you and I 😄❤
I loved this video. I feel like this is how fast you really diamond paint. 🤣 Jk. I say keep us guessing. I love them all. When it's just the unboxing, I usually spend money. LOL. The picture can be pretty on the website but I just put it in my wish list. But then I see you unbox it and I'm like oh my goodness I have to get that. I love the post reviews too. Seeing all of the sparkle. See, I love it all. 🤣
I prefer these videos, everything about the kit is here in one place, it's easier to decide if i want to buy it or not!💗When you do unboxings first, i like to wait until you finish it to decide, but it might be sold out by then, or i might have found something else instead
I really enjoyed this start to finish format. May not need to show the entire kitting up, but maybe just the end of the kitting up so that we know what system you use. Looks like Diamond Artisan Shop has added a few paintings since the last time I checked them out. I will definately be ordering from them. Thank you so much
Variety is good. I liked this style, but I like unboxing and wrap ups too. I would have liked an update during the painting process, how you were feeling while working on it. And if you do this style for larger kits, more than 1 update during the process.
I’m a fan of this format too so hope you’ll do more. I did look at Diamond Artisan once before but their website doesn’t have many details (no info on policies, where the company is based etc) so although I liked the artwork I wasn’t sure about buying from there. I may reconsider now 🙂
Also love finish videos (or both beginning and end). With the unboxings, sometimes it's like, umm, they just like the company and are probably being nice. Also if there are problems, you aren't going to always find them at the unboxing.
I ordered neighbor by sevi on Black Friday can’t wait to get that. It’ll be my first from diamond artisan shop. I did order rounds because I was uncertain about squares having never ordered from them before and I had just done a massive square canvas from the one with the diamond art where a good chunk of those squares were iffy so I was kinda worried about going through that again now wishing I’d have just done the squares! Oh well. River spirit and the others in this line up are on my list as well love the Ghibli stuff!
I enjoyed watching this start to finish. It's true that sometimes you see unboxings and then never see the kit again. Granted, I understand that some kits don't get worked on right away, but this was fun to watch. Also, I'm curious to know how the new dryer sheet trick you're using is working for you? Do you still see a lot of static in the containers or not so much?
I feel like it's helping noticeably! It's cutting down on the static in the containers, in my experience, though sometimes I still have to tuck a dryer sheet square into the containers with the drills anyway. It's still better than having to tuck (sometimes multiple) squares into every container!
I have been looking at this shop. Considering I just placed my first order with Munimade (Why Always the Cows?), I'm pretty behind the times. But always great to see your reviews of shops I am considering purchasing from.
Cute dragon kit! That’s a bummer about the light background. It’s a tough thing to place every drill perfectly without taking forever. Do you typically place all the drills in the same direction (up/down or left/right)? I’d be curious if you noticed a difference doing that. The completionist in me loves seeing a good start to finish sprinkled in the rotation.
I tend to place in whatever direction is most efficient for that particular section! All things being equal, I think up/down tends to be easier for me to place more accurately - I can see the edges of the drills a little more easily that way to line them up, I think!
Would you have considered using other color leftover drills (maybe from another kit) and used them to make little designs in that white border? Like making your own “magic motes” in that big border? I have to say that I enjoy the unboxing videos and then a separate post review video… having said that I did enjoy your Mandie Manzano Wonder Woman unboxing where you showed you worked on a section of it in that same unboxing video. So perhaps if it’s a kit that you plan on starting maybe the unboxing and then a bit of starting on it, and then a post review.. but I don’t know your time constraints for doing all that. .. on another note.. when I started diamond painting and used dryer sheets for static .. I quickly discovered that I needed to invest in a small box of unscented sheets as the scented ones I use in laundry were making me dizzy cutting them up and then working on my kit😂
I enjoy finishes as well. It feels sometimes like the community is flooded with previews of kits that never get worked on. The kits that are finished show an enjoyment of the craft not just the fomo for continually purchasing and not finishing. I am really going to focus this year on crafting instead of buying. I love the start to finish format ! sometime you see an unboxing and you never see how it turns out!
I absolutley love this style of video. One thing that gets on my nerves is a bunch of "sneak peeks" but waiting forever to see the person work on it or finish it. I absolutley love this format of video

It’s so great seeing more and more people doing the start to finish videos! This kit turned out so beautiful 💜
I really enjoyed this "start to finish" video! So often I see the unboxing, but not the completion. Also, your comments are fresh in your mind this way. 🤩

Haku!!! 😍🎉 yes I like this style of video. I love to watch Timelapse diamond painting. Thank you 🙏
Love this start to finish video when it is feasible and lends itself to doing a video like this.
Ok, that dryer sheet trick when you're kitting up is BRILLIANT.
This was fun! I’d like to see more, but also like the regular format - so either is good with me ❤
Loved the start to finish style. Great insight into the whole process. Many thanks❤❤❤
I really like seeing more video‘s off a kit from start to finish.
I really like this format. It was fun. Thank you, I am sure it was a lot of work!💖
I personally prefer separate post review videos. but do what makes you happy 🙂
I love this style of video. It's great to see the project from unboxing to finish. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed the start to finish video and hope that you are able to do more of them in the future. ❤
I liked the start to finish 😊
I love full review videos and always watch them on Lisette's channel. I would love to see more of them on your channel in the future too.
I enjoyed this video start to finish. You always find ways to make it fun, interesting and so engaging ❤
This was fun! I like this format for the smaller kits. But absolutely never push yourself to make it happen.
I really liked the start to finish format.
I loved the start to finish! Whenever you have the time to do this it will be nice but I still love the other ways you do it as well. I guess I love both. Whichever way is better for you at the time. I will tune in to watch!!

I love the start to finish format!iii
I really love the format, and I think for smaller kits it is a really good idea :)
this is very nice format 😊
Love the start to finish format, thanks.
Love this style! And the very accurate "start to finish" name.
I like to see a start to finish video from time to time. I totally understand not being able to do one for larger canvases. If you want to do a start to finish video every so often that would be awesome! I enjoyed this video!
This was so fun to watch you multiplace in fast-mo!! I've been wanting to try that dryer sheet trick... I keep forgetting.
I did enjoy a start to finish. Not practical for allnew releases, but fun to see what you’re working on and I like your feedback on small shops. Cute dragon! ❤
Love this kind of video!😊❤

I’ve been curious about this shop. Thank you so much for posting this review!
I love seeing finished pieces. I love WIP parades and months in review. Some of my favorite videos
This is making me want to start the Haku/Spirited Away Kit in my stash so badly. Great job!!
I like this style of video😊
I enjoyed the start to finish. There are so many kits shown, but not a lot of finishes. Being a newer addict, I love to see finishes too. I’m going to look at this company.
Love this idea for a video its awesome!

Thank you for the suggestion! ☺️
I very much enjoy seeing kits worked on with unboxings, even if it is just a portion of the kits

Fun video! Super cute kit. 💜💎🎨👩🦳
I enjoy start to finish videos but I think you should do whatever you feel up to in the moment!

Hi Katie. I enjoy these videos however you want to do them. Thank you.
Hi Katie, I enjoy this format. Why? My severe ADHD brain didn't go into anxiety and panic.
I orginally read the title as River Song.

That's a really cute idea! Something to keep in mind for the future if I do others in this series, for sure. Thank you!
DIYmond Delights has this same image, but smaller in size. I recently bought the cat in this series from them.
Cute kit. I def liked seeing the whole thing from opening to finish when it fits since I enjoy the other videos too. 💜💚🩷
