I played it when it first released on DOS and found it confusing, frustrating, but ultimately funny as hell. That might be partly because I come from Appalachia and get the jokes like Moon Pies for health pickups.I don't know who owns the IP anymore but a remake would probably turn out better than that crap Duke Nukem turd Randy "I totally thought squirting was a magic trick" Pitchford delivered us. Redneck Rampage Rides Again was out of the box better than Aliens: Colonial Marines, anyway.
I played both of these games so much that I missed quite a few college classes because of it. Then I scoured newsgroups to find every single song on both soundtracks and filled my Rio mp3 player with all of them. Obsessed to say the least. Great games for that time period
This was and is a great DOS game, from a studio that actually tried to make a better and fun game. BUT the game just doesn't feel the same WITHOUT the Mojo Nixon music.
Damn I mean damn if this was country music I might listen to it I mean good lord far from the best but god is it good in that I can't possibly recomend this to someone who I wanna see tomorrow
Yeah Civvie was right since I type in to search the only thing pop out is pretty much this video which uploaded this year or the another one came from 11 years ago with less than 10k views, this song pretty much just copy right claimed so hard almost like Japanese cartoon on youtube.
I actually came to love Mojo for his "Elvis Is Everywhere" and "Burn Down the Malls" videos. I had heard of Redneck Rampage for years but never bothered to play it until now. Hearing the soundtrack reminded me how excellent Mojo is so I had to check out this music video. Could this be the most high effort video/song that ties into a video game? Great stuff either way
I haven't seen Mojo since the Fuji tour (sponsored by fuji ) (not the name of tour) ( nice buses fuji thanks) had a few beers , dropped a dose or two on him then, sadly it was time to pull out of town. slammed one more beer outside the door of the bus but we didn't say good bye, just looked at each other and went into the baby, bbbb baby, ba ba ba baby chant till the bus driver yelled GET ON THE BUS ! we gave the Beat Farmer hand shake and down the road they went. What a good time . When the bus was out of sight i got all sad, then came a hard rain , Its a hard well a hard rain began o fall. And that's the last memory of my buddy, MoJo Nixon. He went on and then the next thing i knew he had his own radio show in new york city.
You know civvie, this is fun country punk, but psychobilly is a bit faster and powerful. I'd generally go with Reverend Horton Heat or Tiger Army for my psychobilly.
I never met Mojo, but knew his mom, Mrs. McMillian when I discovered she was his mom, I always addressed her as Mrs. Nixon, she always laughed. 😀
My aunt was friends with her when she lived in Danville. Mojo and my cousin were friends, but they both are gone, too.
“My family tree is a stump”
I’m stealing that line
Thanks Civvie 'Your Honor I didn't know she was under age.'

I was so sad when I heard Mojo Nixon died. I’ve been listening to his music for a while and thought it was hilarious. Godspeed Mr. Nixon, Godspeed.
Mojo shoulda "YEEEEE-HAWWWWW" -'d a couple more times. RIP buddy. He's with Elvis now.
There was never and will never be anyone like you. RIP babe
Im blasting this trough Balkan streets, greetings from Bosnia 🤘🏻
Fuck, you gotta love the internet!!!
RIP Mojo, he's on redneck rampage in heaven
Redneck rampage deserves a reboot like Doom. As long as it doesn’t take itself seriously it could be amazing

Agreed! I'd love to see this silly theme being used for a game once more!!!
Given that Southerners are "Designated Villains" by the mainstream media, I don't see it happening.
Hold on to your butt!
and don't forget a fucking pinch of Postal 2 for a supreme masterwork ...🤣🤣🤣
WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUW!!!
Rest in Beer, which ain't drinking, you little Elvis Presley!
This entire song just makes me want an elderly Southern man to call me 'son'.
If more country was like this, I'd move to Nashville.
You know Mojo is rocking in the afterlife for sure ! !
RIP Mojo

Legendary music video.
Charlie Puritano cast me in this as the cello player, but I didn’t make this cut - except for briefly in the beginning seated at the round table.
I found my favorite singer. Thanks, Civie. Hello from Russia!
If u like this I totally recommend The Reverend Horton Heat
thanks to Drew Markham for opening such an amazing band for everybody!
Не знаю никакого Civvie, рубился в Redneck Rampage ещё в 1997-м. До сих пор диск с игрой есть у меня.
Thanks Civvie
Praying that we keep your spirit alive, come what may. ❤

I'm English, but this song makes me want to throw my hat into the air and shout "Yee-haw"
Better you shout Allu akbar so your neighbors don't get upset with you...
Mojo was Scots-Irish, so he'd probably be in the woods shooting those hats with a rifle.

Tiger army is emobilly not psychobilly!!

They actually had some of the Reverend Horton Heat’s music in the game soundtrack with Wiggle Stick and Nurture my Pig
The singer would later get hit with King Koopa’s deevolution ray. His last words were to call him a quote; Lousy Leader
