Gun culture is considered weird everywhere except America, get that through y’all heads
Y’all isn’t a possessive, genius.
Very true, as I travel to other countries people are amazed at American gun culture. Non stop mass shootings in schools hospitals lawyers office not to mention the iner city shootings. What really sticks out gun shot is the leading cause of death for children 😮
well w/o that gun culture...would the US have defeated the British?
What would "america" look like now? Maybe there'd still be black slavery!
positives & negatives....ww2 winner's curse...
could say more...but not for youtube comment.
Don’t ever go to that POS island.

No sympathy. Too bad. Other countries do not give you a pass.
I don't have any sympathy for them either.
What's the name of the female basketball player who got caught with marijuana in Russia and got 10 years?
@@morganmadison366 Brittany Griner. She didn't whine about it. She knew she messed up. No sympathy. No excuse: "This was a mistake. It was an accident, which I understand accidents have repercussions,” Griner told Roberts. “And I'm American in Russia where relations aren't the best."
@@DesireeMarble Griner knowingly brought marijuana into Russia. It wasn't an accidental. That's not my point, though.
My point is that sympathy is based on the American's perceived political opinions.
Griner the Democrat, black, lesbian: let's free a terrific criminal who is responsible for thousands of deaths and will be responsible for many more to free her.
These Americans who are probably Republicans, white, straight: they deserve 12 years in prison.
Meanwhile, the U.S. gives a pass to illegal aliens to enter this country at their leisure.
It's your luggage and you should know what's inside. Every country has different laws, and you have a nerve to bring anything like that.
I dont think they brought it with them on purpose. It sounds like he missed some rounds in what doubles as his hunting bag.
They punished him for being human.
@James-to7pi It is easy to miss small things that got tucked into a crevice. If it's a large item you got a point. If it's something tiny like a single bullet fell out of it's box he could have easily missed it.
@@iana8030 Sounds like a tyrannical govt to me. I’ll stay out right here in the us of a.
@@PianoMan-hx3ev For breaking the law. your 2A does not exist outside our borders.
Check your luggage, no excuses to be honest. We want our laws to be respected, we need to respect their laws.
Armed migrant arrested. This is what y'all want right?
I wish I could like this comment multiple times.
As an American and gun owner I agree. I don’t feel sorry for this guy it’s his responsibility to double and triple check his luggage.
Unlike other migrants they don't get free hotels, prepaid debit cards, free bus rides, and allowed cut in line of everyone waiting for a visa
4 bullets is not armed. But how would you know the difference. 😅
Is he actually armed? The way I see it, Turks & Caicos is dropping the hammer on this tourist because that nation has a ghost gun problem, and their laws against possession of guns & ammo are so strict.
Am I the only one who don't feel bad for them? Always respect the laws in another country and before going to a country or island, do your research.
The part about this I am outraged over is the fact that Turks and Cacos is not some little corrupt dictatorship It's a territory of the United Kingdom. Up until now I would have felt safe going there as I thought that being part of the United Kingdom, that British law would preclude this sort of thing from happening. The British government needs to reign in this mess.
@@danrhinehart1134 So what would happen if someone from another country comes to the US and Customs find bullets in their luggage? First of all, the TSA should never let him on a plane to an international destination with bullets in his luggage. They dropped the ball here.
Your one your own u p0s
@@danrhinehart1134 Why? Because the entire world has to accept the USA gun culture on their own land? Obey the law.
Shouldn't' have been a dumbass. I hope he gets the full 12 years. Respect other countries laws just like you want the US laws to be respected.

Ammo is so expensive these days, that I couldn’t imagine having “stray, loose ammo” floating around in a bag. All of my ammo is either in a magazine or the box it came in.
I hope he doesn't. That's pretty cruel for a mistake...,might have been a stupid mistake, but his kids don't deserve to lose their dad over it
Do you REALLY need a warning not to carry AMMO overseas? Hmm? 🤪
That’s next level stupidity bringing bullets or not knowing you have bullets
How come TSA agents aren’t able to catch them even before they traveled to Turks and Caicos Islands 🇹🇨
That is a GOOD question
That's my question.
The agents were "woke" and knew this good American would get arrested in "their" country.
Exactly and everyone is like hood these deserve jail and it it's like do u realized that tsa f up and caused this.
It isn't TSA's job to enforce the laws of another country.
Turks and Caicos, he's all yours for 12 years. You're welcome.
He was dumb my opinion
If you like to play with guns in your free time, you should probably double check all your bags and such. I accidentally got caught with a lighter in my luggage that I forgot about when I was flying out of Japan, and luckily that wasn’t a huge deal and I just disposed of it, but I always double check now.
Not a good look for TSA. They should share the blame.
Innocent mistake? Ignorant couple! Doesn't anyone read the laws of the country you are visiting?
It’s not a county, it’s a theme park, a beach you can rent, a tourist destination. Do you read Disneyland’s laws before riding splash mountain?
I think it is an innocent mistake. He was just not thorough enough to check his luggage to ensure nothing prohibited was in it.

Oh well, shoulda checked your bag
You have to see it from Turks and Caicos perspective. If they’ve had issues with smuggling of arms and drugs, these people could be putting on an elaborate story to test the system. They have the right to set the law and the penalty in order to curb the offenses. Mistake or not, this couple isn’t special.

I bet he ends up doing 6 months or less, but it's still a hard lesson. (EDIT: I am aware the mandatory minimum is 12 years, but once the US Embassy gets involved it will be measured in months).

If you got caught in Europe with ammo you would also go to jail. Respect the laws of the countries you visit. I have no sympathy for these people
Europe has real countries. This is a theme park, a tourist destination, a beach you can rent. It’s economy is tourism. Disneyland doesn’t put you in jail for 12 years. 😂
The majority of people on UA-cam haven’t made simple mistakes in there own lives. I’m impressed 👍
@@goatrectum wtf are you talking about? it’s self governing islands with a constitutional and historical link with the United Kingdom they have their own laws. Calling it a theme park or island for rent is so disrespectful. And if you try to bring ammo inside Disneyland Paris i can guarantee you that it would land you a lengthy prison sentence in France too. Only Americans would think bringing ammo inside another country as a simple mistake lol
I’ve been to Turks and Caicos, Disney USA x2, and the one in France…. All 3 Disneylands have more of a right to call themselves countries than T and C. Sincerest apologies to all 45,000 residents. Humans are born at a rate of 4.5 per second, T and C = 3 hours. I happen to despise guns, but I find idealists cause much more destruction. If your game is tourism, and that’s your only game, you best play accordingly,, or be prepared to defend your position. It’s wise to be mindful where your fist is headed when throwing punches.
@@goatrectum that’s totally cool you feel that way. But it does not change the fact that it is officially a country tourism or not. And they obviously don’t want ammo or guns inside their borders. It’s the same in my country we have no tolerance for firearms and it would automatically give you 4 years in prison if you got caught with one mistake or not. and thats a mild sentence according to European standards. Ammo would probably not give 4 years but you would still have to serve time in prison

Long story short- don’t hunt in the Caribbean or check what the hell is in your luggage before you travel. How hard is that?
I do not believe for one moment that any of these people 'forgot' the ammo was in their luggage/ bags. That is utterly ridiculous. When traveling abroad to any foreign nation, one must always be aware of the criminal penalties associated with that country or island. Any versed in firearms should full well know if any ammo is in their luggage. I'm sorry, I just don't buy any of it.
