Most brahmins and certain upper castes people were generally a lethargic society as they got free food always in almost all temples and protected by the rulers and Hinduism. Infact these people lived upon the fruits of labour of lower castes who had no political or any thing in the administration of kings rule .the land was generally owned by either temples or namboodiris and upper class Hindus on special favours received frome the kings .
