It could be your styling or the way the color makes you glow, but the dress also looks like it would work for tinkerbell with the pleating looking like the veins on a leaf 😅, the draping looks so organic
I like how that zipper worked out, lovely! And that's a great colour on you. I really like the nested pleats you did, looked really nifty, and that underdress had such swoosh, it looked like a waterfall.
This gown is beautiful in its appearance and breath-taking (not a cold pun btw) in its movement. Talking about jackets, what about making a fitted version of the suit jacket that Loki wears in the Marvel series. Maybe add a corset type silhouette to the back, but keeping the front somewhat "slouchy" like Loki's version? Perhaps even line jacket with any leftover gown material?
The draping on this is phenomenal! With the beautifully swishy skirt, interesting lines and ingeniously placed zipper, you have created an amazingly gorgeous gown!
Amazing dress Bella-Mae! The pictures on instagram definitely built the anticipation for this beautiful gown. the fabric didn't look like the easiest to work with!!
oh my GOODNESS!, Bella, when that video started and you were there, smiling into the camera!!! O.O you look so pretty with your hair like that!!! WOW! i'm happy to have a new video from you, i hope you're doing well, and are having a good christmas-y time, now that the season is fastly approaching! stay safe!
Aww, thank you. Appreciate it! I know it hasn’t been as much as usual but happy to finally have one posted! I am having a great Christmas season! Hope you are as well! 💚
aw, no way! i think we all know that high quality content about making high quality pretty things simply takes time :) personally, i rather have one video in three months from you, and you're well and enjoying what you're doing, than have one every week and you're functioning on your last bit of composure...@@BellaMaesDesigns
So this is kind of an odd place to put this question, but are you planning on making Cinderella’s Wedding Dress? I would love to see you do that! I know you would do a perfect job and that dress is really gorgeous.
I almost did something with the dark fabric in the form of a cape or something but I just loved how the dress turned out and didn't want to cover any of it up!
Best piece you have done in this series todays. I can see this on an actual red carpet. My only suggestion would be to line further into the front flap because it became visible a few times when you were moving.
Honestly you just have to try it and play around with fabric again and again and again. And not force the fabric to do what you want. You have to work with how the grain works and such and that just takes playing with it!
I love this design! I think the pleats are fantastic and the fabric choice was perfect. The only thing I would suggest is instead of just a facing with heat-n-bond on the skirt, lining that section completely with heat-n-bond in the same place (or the whole section?) would make it so when that portion flutters open, you don't see any edges. Is there a reason you didn't line the bodice? Pure curiosity, no judgement. I really love your work and find your creative solutions inspiring. Thank you for your work
Could you please do a video series on the basics of sewing for people like myself? I love your videos and ever since I found your channel I’ve been wanting to learn how to sew, and I got a sewing machine but I’m quite hopeless and I need all the help I can get, even if it’s just a few words of encouragement.
It so freaking pretty! I just love seeing your original designs come to life, the problem solving, the creative ideas, it’s so insightful and inspiring! Great job. 💚 Edit: soo I’ve been seeking for a new dress form and I figured, since you have more than one, which one would you recommend the most? I was debating whether I should get one from Royal dress forms (Classy forms) or one like you used in this video (the collapsible shoulder PGM kind). Which one do you like the most? Thanks 💖
Thanks! I personally end up using the PGM kind more often but it's pretty much because my Classy one is too small for me. But when it comes to draping, I'm still not sure I'd use the classy because there ends up being a lot of tension with the fabric and the classy one is soft enough that it kind of squishes out of place with that tension. So I think I'd say the PGM over all...
Well...no... I did one after all the draping was done... I usually try to do one but I'm at the point where I'm pretty confident with my dress form so I know it'll fit if it fits that.
I love this! And the zipper placement is genius! It looks like it’s probably a lot easier to zip up than a straight back zipper.
Thanks! I’m pretty proud of it! And yes! It is!!

It's appearance Loki dress in Marvel series.
Nice dress! Love the non-vertical zipper!
The dress is great! You could make a dramatic cape to go with it with the darker fabric 😄 so you'll be less cold whenever you wear it next time
WOW you so amazing Loki Dress, Bella!!!! 💖❤️
The draping on this is phenomenal! With the beautifully swishy skirt, interesting lines and ingeniously placed zipper, you have created an amazingly gorgeous gown!

Ahhhh! It’s only been up 19 minutes, the baby is sleeping and I can watch as I work on mine and my daughters Christmas dress
Aww, fun! Enjoy!
its wonderful and the color too.

Aw, thank you for saying that! ❤@@sarahheri7027
I love the draping! Thanks for showing, it made me think of why i failed so many times draping stuff. I love it so much and I think it clicked now.
Beautiful dress, and this colour looks gorgeous on you
Aw, thank you!
In my opinion, you are the most talented seamstress on UA-cam. Your creatively is on a completely different level.
Awww, that’s so kind! 🥰
That’s badass I love it! ❤
Haha, thanks!
This is stunning, I love the way in which the skirts move. I think cutting them as a circular shape added an inteŕesting dimension also.
That draping was impressive and so complex!! 👀
This is so gorgeous, I absolutely love the draping and how it played with the all of the pleats. It is such a beautifully crafted design.
Very cleaver placement of the zip, the Dress is stunning ❤
You’re a queen ❤
I love the draping and the wonky skirt! It’s so beautiful. And it looks really fun to wear!

Loki: Fashion Barbie variant 😍
All that was missing was a black cover with gold details. I think this touch of darkness would be very similar to Loki.
I almost did something with the dark fabric in the form of a cape or something but I just loved how the dress turned out and didn't want to cover any of it up!
Reminds me as well of Elizabeth Hawes

That is sensational! I love how bold you are with those scissors! I could never make that in a million years! Brilliant!
PLEASE make Cinderella’s live action pink dress!! It’s one of my favorites 😭😭😭
Beautiful design!
This is absolutely stunning 😻😻😻
Wow, this might be my favourite so far! And the colour looks so good on you
😂😂 you chose the coldest night but it end up really well
That looks amazing. You are so creative and talented. I'm a novice sewer and have not mastered the draping yet
Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated

Absolutely brilliant!
Great for a christmas ball
You should make Cinderella’s mother’s dress before the ball 😊
Stunning Bella Mae!
Wow…this dress is amazing and you look beautiful in it too…🥰🇦🇺

Gorgeous
Absolutely stunning, love the skirt!
I didn't even know that you love loki and it so beautifullll❤❤❤

Did you do any fittings in between????
Well...no...

Oh wow, is this a heroine or a villain? A we crashing the Inaugural Ball or saving it?
