@@dillonsmith1801 Its hard? No. Kasp has 15 years in a roll in a champion of chess. He is a greatest living chess player. Magnus was treined by Kasparov, and lost 2 games and draw 1. So...
the girl making head moves every time garry makes a move like she understands things (i hate it) and get mated in ~10 moves i lol'd soooo much at this :D
well, I have seen some people who play chess even without thinking and quickly make moves against very strong chess players which result them in losing.
Kasparov's knowledge of the openings is as great as anyone in history. Not that there's doubt in the outcome of any of these games, but he knows instantaneously when his opponent has veered off of theory and how to exploit it.
Well, as he's been retired since 2005 he cannot be rated anymore. Besides, knowledge is never lost when you're an expert as he is, that's why none of those guys could beat him, I think the only one who can do it nowadays, is Carlsen.
The elo rating list it's not good today. A 2800 player in 1999 is more strong compared to a 2800 player in 2013 with very few few exceptions. This is because of rating inflation started in the 70's.
lo you can say what you want but kasparow is really an odd guy... perhaps because he is genious i dont know. 8:30 the guy in the blue shirt made his move and instead of looking at the chess board kasparow is staring at him and smiling... for seconds... its hilarious.. I don't know what is going on in his mind xD
I guess he makes an effort to look into his soul and understand/ appreciate him as a human being. But the other guy sadly refuses to give him any eye contact. It would have been a special moment
The kids name is Philip he is my son. He knew the errors he made he was distracted by the commentor and the pretentiousness of the overall aura of the room, however Ms.collier was very nice
He bumped the piece, the boy should know where it should be, and i think in kasparovs mind he just thought: "my turn is over, I should not touch his pieces. if the boy wants to fix it, he will."
He was rated at 2800 plus in 1999 so... Anyway I have no idea what he is today...was just figuring he probably lost a significant amount since retiring and due to him aging more.
your right, true talent is required. Bobby fischer stated that as well. But how to know if you have that talent or not? You can have that talent all your life but now just discovered it.
If I were to play Kasparov I don't think I would ever resign because I'd be in a losing position from the start! If I am ever going to resign I may as well resign before the start of the game
Wtf? This puts a whole new light on Kasparov centering pieces, as if to make it more aesthetic! Didn't touch other players in untimed games! Is this a form of intimidation or impedance to other player? I'd be distracted if someone touched one of my pieces! On my time! How many nanoseconds lost? Just in the impedance? Let alone regrouping, becoming undistracted? It took the kid a little while to move, I recall! I noticed in realtime, veneto (by the way). Some chess trash talk! And more! I hadnt noticed the rook b2, knocked to b1 (22:50). Thnx for pointing it out! It was if he was punishing the boy for having his piece so far off center! Watch las right after move, head down. Then after win. How gracious. Indeed!?
Michael Paradise I don't think it mattered. It actually looks like he was trying to help the kid. If the rook stayed at b1, and he missed Rxb2 (pawn), then it's quite possible he would miss Rxb1(rook!) also. Then what? Rxb1 and the other Rxb1 (the other way just trades off the rooks which is not as bad, but still bad). Black had a bishop on f5 about to take the knight on c2. White would need to bring their bishop on f3 to d1 to protect it, meaning no time to keep rook on b1. He was in a lost position anyway by the looks of it. If you are down you want to keep the better pieces and get your opponent's pawns.
jadarite, that's good insite! Thanks! That was 'very' good of you. You gave me insite, that I couldn't see, into this situation. Wow. I couldn't get past the thought, that they could have had a connection. Now I see, thanks to you, 'Kasparov' was just looking at him, that's all. Maybe analyzing the kid, who knows?:-) jadarite, all of the above, I thought it applied to the game, when Kasparov was standing, staring at the player, seated. Analyze that one,(the game), for me. Would ya? 'Pretty please'. Lol! Some of these thoughts, still apply here though. I no longer, think K was being mean. You changed that, me. Thanks again!
You can't in sport because that's only possible in your 20s - after that your physical condition can't keep up. So I'm not sure it would be fair to compare to sports. What other game that isn't physical is as popular as chess? Kasparov is fantastic though - I'm a fan.
That is true but also how many people in the world play chess? a LOT! Think of all the countries, all the whizzes, grandmasters of all ages and he remained on top for 2 decades. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Chess is not the same, because you can still be good enough even if your body is older or weaker. In physical sports the body decline is the problem. Nevertheless a fantastic feat. It's just comparing apples to oranges.
Not cheating. The rook's on B1 guarding the b2 pawn to confront the doubled rooks on the b file. But, it is slightly misplaced so I see how you got that impression. Kasparov doesn't need to cheat to win.
It was impressive when Kasparov got the all time greatest rating level, now because of inflation, it's easy to get very high rating points. Carlsen had the highest rating ever, but he got that rating when high ratings were the easiest to get ever.
+SkNN ...I was lucky once to see him in action ...his glance is deadly...it petrifies the opponent's heart and makes them unable to function properly-its Gary Kasparov's one of the many weapons in his arsenal and although he didnt need to use it since the opponent was too weak for him yet it seems that it pleases him to see the terror in the eyes of the weak too once in a while...
No Zack sorry I wrote it wrong I meant his rook was on b1 but when he took the pawn he pushes it to a1 so that guy could've taken the rook for free but kasporov moved it
Omniverse Man Yes. looks like it was nudged; originally it looks to be mostly on b1 but touching a1. Kasparov captures on b2 with his rook, white rook is nudged slightly over towards a1, but Kasparov has double rooks on b-file so his opponent could not have taken the rook for 'free' as Kasparov recaptures with rook on b8. However, maybe the placement made him overlook that he should have captured as afterwards Kasparov captures on b1, where the rook 'should be' and merely wins a rook. I
"chess champion" is an understatement, he is the greatest living chess player
Liked your comment, but I personally think it's hard to say who the 'greatest' living chess player is.
@@dillonsmith1801 Its hard? No. Kasp has 15 years in a roll in a champion of chess.
He is a greatest living chess player. Magnus was treined by Kasparov, and lost 2 games and draw 1. So...
Kasparov reigned for 21+ years and Calrsen has been reigning for 10 years now. This is not even a debate.
kasparovs english sounds so cool
I wish the announcer would shut the up.
+dannyboy12357 was "the up" open?
+David Sirois lol trolling done right
Yes, my son had an issue trying concentrate with him in the back ground talking, was a distraction the whole time.
The kind of guy that loves to hear himself talk meanwhile everyone else in the room wishes they had earplugs.
He has to make his payment worth something.
Usually it takes Garry more time to adjust the pieces at each board before the 1st move than it does to dispose of his opponents.
Those people playing the Sicilian against Kasparov tho 🤦♂️🤦♂️
the girl making head moves every time garry makes a move like she understands things (i hate it) and get mated in ~10 moves i lol'd soooo much at this :D
loool i was thinking the same it's funny xD
stupid bitch :>D
well, I have seen some people who play chess even without thinking and quickly make moves against very strong chess players which result them in losing.
loll silly behavior
Every time she moves her head I can't help but think, "gobble gobble"
So many expensive cars and yet they get a chess clock that garry has to hold on to so it wont fall over.
Listening to the announcer talk is like hitting your head against a brick wall..its nice when its stops.
Wow Kasparov really likes his Knights standing horizontally :)
Kasparov is a very humble man
THANKS for the upload!!!
Kasparov's knowledge of the openings is as great as anyone in history. Not that there's doubt in the outcome of any of these games, but he knows instantaneously when his opponent has veered off of theory and how to exploit it.
that guy talked way too much.
Gray ur an Amazing man‼️
Thanks for so many brilliant attacking games over the years! You deserve nothing but the best continued success 💪🏿💪🏿!
Walking around in circles for 30 minutes. Needs endurance.
Fantastic view on the boards :great how
Kasparov works his way around 👍
I bet everyone who played him thought they'd magically play some genius game and beat Kasparov. It would make for one hell of a story.
good lord of puns!
So basically, I've failed
That announcer was annoying
This is big! Kasparov vs.the players + the noisy guy at micro...
Imagine if each of them had a discrete connection to Deeper Blue.
5:32 Rip that guy trying to get handshake XD
+GG Noob did you even see the video
+GG Noob lol he's invisible
It's amazing how some players can do this blindfolded.
this is absolutely incredible.
would be good to see a 2D diagram of games
15:52 Dude didn't even know he's being mated lol. He got straight up kasparoved.
16:43 Was Kasparov down a queen? Where is it?
Well, as he's been retired since 2005 he cannot be rated anymore. Besides, knowledge is never lost when you're an expert as he is, that's why none of those guys could beat him, I think the only one who can do it nowadays, is Carlsen.

haha. yeah, that was a special moment. But I would have taken my time to stare back at the master. Could have been a special moment
I think he might be looking towards the commentator guy talking in the background but I don't know.
I can't stop laughing.
I think he was posing for a photo being taken by someone behind the player.
I guess he makes an effort to look into his soul and understand/ appreciate him as a human being. But the other guy sadly refuses to give him any eye contact. It would have been a special moment
Kasparov must have superstitions! - did anyone notice the ritual performed at the initial opening white on each board??
I think it's a grandmaster thing - get the pieces nicely aligned - they all do it.
What King said. If you ever watch live blitz or STC games they all center their pieces before black starts the clock.
Karja and Carlsen did it all the time at their recent WC match. I think it's silly though.
18:07 Kasparov check mating with style...what a boss
I would like to play a session with such rivals, I think the result will be similar
do they even play? lol
Kasparov I love you 🌷❤☺🌹
Well put together , very nice
beautiful chess set..where can I buy that one?
in this game, not Mr. Kasparov's brain, but legs got tired
that kid with the mustache is like saying "look, i am a grown man already" haha

Thank you almir!!!
Why am I not a better player? I could often predict what move Gary would make.
Oh I believe you , really , I do.(rolling my eyes)
if only (still rolling my eyes)
i wish i had started chess sooner, but im not going to give up and someday hope to be better the gary.
His gift isn't something you acquire. It's something you're born with, unfortunately.

23:15 Garry knows it's over and wants to tidy up the board
22:50 What a cheat :P Kasparov knocks the rook off and the boy then forgets about its original spot, thinking it's on A1, feel sorry for him.

Самый молодой неофициальный чемпион Пол Морфи. В 21 лучший в мире.
15:56 Kasparov gives a sly grin when he notices his opponent didn't stop the checkmate
lol. I like chess, but I am pretty bad at it. With the amount of time that guy had to stop a mate in 1, I think I could have done better than him!
i wonder if they played with that music instead of the public noise and commentator if they would pay better chess
great lighting
Rare interesting video
Nice boards but they were using my middle club pieces.
If Kasparov came to your board and play fast , means you are in toruble :D
The Kasparov gaze at 8:31
Great !!
the last player made Kasparov very uncomfortable...
Kasparov is always a nervous seeming player against someone who can actually play; it's his way. Anand on the other hand is always calm and static.
Awesome!
at 36:10 kasparov is having a bobby fischer moment it looks like he's talking to himself and rubbing his face back and forth with his hand
Kasparov wearing Patek Philippe watch
the guy requested a takback during the second one-on-one match agianst K
The boy resigned beforehand by touching the board, I think.

at 26:50 professor Ted Mosby :D

please show diagram or notation the game when duel

Well, 8:23 is more appropriate. (Kasparov pawn disappearance technique)
Nobody notices that there's a 28M dollar Mclaren F1 in the room
didnt know kevin spacey plays chess
can anybody tell me what music is this, its beautiful?
Will Kasparov compete again?
i will bring with me stockfish 8 with me apple watch
turn off the sound and this becomes a good vdo
I think that boy should really think about his moves instead of losing in 25 of them.
You last 25 moves against what was the world champion of chess.
Hes got all the time in the world why not use this time against "the world champion of chess"
Why does he not have a rolling chair or something for frig sakes
kasparov is acting like, can you bring me a strong player?

what are the levels of the opponents?
Mmm i dint see that, thanks.
