exactly! i’d say about 3 of my guy friends have tried making sexual or romantic advances towards me to which i have always kindly rejected them. it’s a little disappointing that they just disregarded that video and instead of saying “men shouldn’t do that” they just said “not all men to thattttt” which is true, there are a handful of good and respectful men out there, however i’d say almost every woman has had a weird experience with a guy friend or with just a guy in general. therefore, i applaud rem for bringing this issue to light and not disregarding it.

Thank you to Rem for talking about the girl-guy friendship issue. I can't begin to tell about all the times guys have hurt and disappointed me. Only 3 men in my life have been TRUE friends with no ulterior motives. Important male figures (such as cousins, uncles, brothers, and friends) are very important to me as I grew up without a dad. I'm not close to the few male members in my family. So, friends are all I have. My friendships with men mean EVERYTHING to me, and it is so heartbreaking when it falls apart after realizing they were only pretending to be friends in hopes of getting what they wanted from me....to date me or just get in my pants. It's much worse and more painful than a friendship break-up with female friends.

But I think one thing you guys should note is that most of the female content creators don’t create content for guys. Especially those who document their mental health issues like anxiety or low self esteem. What it does is it gives a lot of women relief to know that they’re not alone in their struggles. The most minor thing that happens is you permanently wet yourself after if you laugh or cough..but I've heard that women can develop serious conditions like diabetes for the rest of their lives. Some people develop postpartum depression which is serious...nah, you couldn't pay me to do that. I don't know how women with multiple kids endure pregnancy.

Just wanted to say, as a woman who has had to have all my teeth removed for my own health, please try to be more mindful. Those comments about it being 'deceitful' cut deep, it's not deceitful to wear dentures, it's necessary to fit in and not be judged for not having teeth, and when I tell you I sobbed my heart out because for once I felt represented by an influencer only to be torn down 2 seconds later...... that shit hurts. I love you both and your content, but if this is the attitude you have towards women then I think its time for a break

I agree, a dentist messed up with my mums teeth and now she has a bridge. She’s still a beautiful woman but seeing her freak out when she realises her teeth aren’t in and people saw/what they might think? Everytime someone says something about having no teeth around me, I have to say something. You’re still beautiful and educated people understand there are many reasons for losing teeth and no one wants it. It was disappointing seeing that reaction. No one pulls their teeth for fun. I'm from South Africa and in my racial group (coloured people) we are often mocked by others because many coloured people have missing teeth. My mom told me that during Apartheid, the government clinics (there was no private care back then) pulled our people's teeth instead of filling the cavities. That was reserved for white people. So there is also a deeper link to poverty, classism and racism. My parents always made sure to take my bro and me to the dentist for checkups and fillings if needed. I only realised later in life how significant it was. It's also mind boggling to hear them call women with dentures deceitful as if the only reason a woman exists is to attract men.

I also just want to add that most normal people absolutely would not care if you have dentures! It is just you taking care of your health, like anything else. Having teeth/dentures is a medical necessity. Both my parents needed dentures and had missing teeth. I still loved them it had no bearing on their intelligence or beauty to me.
