    Great stuff on that LS jam brother!! So good that I got out my LS DVD and enjoyed it...crazy to see him playing that Martin in that show, I think he only played it a year or so...

    • @carsonmac
      @carsonmac  3 роки тому +2

      Haha! That’s awesome man...yeah, his time with Martin was short lived no doubt. He also had that sunburst Chet Atkins SST that sat there on stage the whole time too. I don’t think he really ever played the Chet after that either, it basically went straight to the Taylor from then on. Which was my favorite of the guitars he’s played

    • @DMBJams22
      @DMBJams22 3 роки тому

      Yeah your right, and man that black Chet was epic...I found one on Reverb but it was pretty beat up and they still wanted 2k, no thanks 😂

    i don't have a lot of omoney but would give it all for a jimi thing solo i had off a bootleg (cruising around in 86 honda --after a couple of one guns, 6x9's blasting so loudly cause my head was only 3" away from them in that tiny car) and i know he's got some great versions bu to this version alone the most does dave jam out not just the outro and up on the 12th and 7th. Damn it i would murder, well no but i would do a lot for that jam out. Oh the times.

    Thanks for all the great videos. You do a fantastic job. It has really helped me a lot. Do you know the jam from Live Trax 2 (San Francisco) Jimi Thing? It stars at about the 9:40 mark. It’s so bad ass and the best jam I think I’ve ever heard of him.

    Hi Carson! Just a quick question: I seem to have a really stiff, heavy strumming hand when I try to play this, which makes it sound awful. Would you have any suggestions to fix this? I've tried different pick gauges in an attempt to "lighten up" the strumming, playing along with you & different Dave videos, but I can't seem to stop the over all stiff, heavy sound. I have this problem with just about every DMB song. Hope I've explained this correctly. Any tips and/or advice would be hugely appreciated. Love every single one of your tutorials...keep up the amazing work!!
