- Aelita has had enough, so she teams up with William and Jeremie to create the perfect plan to get Anthea’s data and video. When everything goes sideways, she decides to risk it all by changing the plan. She stays on Exploratorio, waiting for the data to be accessible again, but how will she be there and at Kadic’s end of the year party, when she’s the DJ?

The fact that Delmas' words to William not only apply to his grades, but can be applied to how reckless he was on Lyoko, is so hard-hitting. He can't catch a break.
Honestly, i dont see why they stopped code lyoko, the story that this fan made has created actually seems so real and accurate, minor details from past episodes that most of us dont even remember adding to current episodes, such amazing digging and thinking

19:32 - I literally spent the last 20 minutes reading every single entry that was decrypted and Jesus... The amount of work into that *ALONE* is dark, brilliant, touching, and emotional... Even though it's not in my official language, it's such a wonderful experience to see that in almost 20 years Code Lyoko has been out, people are still devoted to it. I remember watching it when it came to the US and couldn't stop watching it, and when Evolution came out I felt so disappointed because it just didn't seem right in my heart. This whole series that was made has blown Evolution out of the water and into something far more incredible. Thank you all who took part in making this happen, and to give me a small taste of my childhood again... 😢

@@CodeLyokoBeyond You're quite welcome! I just finished the entire thing and I had to get up and collect myself for a moment. There were so many things left unsaid about how the official ending came to be. It sounds silly, but this show did get me into looking for more international cartoons as I grew up. I'm weeks away from turning 30 and to still see people giving this series praise is just so wonderful. This entire season that was made was so well done, and thank you once again to you and all the others who decided to make this fanmade season a reality.
The 10 episodes of this well-deserved continuation I've seen so far did what Evolution couldn't do story-wise. Seriously, *THIS* is what the fans needed and I hope to see more. Great job on making (in my opinion) the best fanmade content of a childhood classic!

I never thought Code Lyoko could be cliffhanger like this before, I'm getting more hype with the next season.
I know this is a small detail but it got to me that the picture of Aelita's first day on Earth included Jim - even if he was blocked by part of Jeremie's hand. I can't imagine that being a detail many people remember to include and yet it was there, so I felt something there.
This episode was so sad... ;.; can't wait for the next one

I said a few days ago that I already knew the episode was going to be amazing, just because it was going to be more than 3 and a half years since the last one. Well this episode certainly didn't disappoint. The story is progressing, but also, on the technical and production side, the animations are detaching themselves more and more from the original show. [mild spoilers]
It's not just re-edited Code Lyoko scenes with an invented script for the dialogues, there's new scenes with Franz Hopper, Anthea, these men from Project Carthage, the Hermitage, so much more that is just created content.
The fifth season was very promising, this episode is even more promising; and I think it's the perfect turning point for the two seasons. I'm going to be waiting for the rest with impatience.

The moment i translated "shot" and "the bomb is placed" in the subtitles i realyzed how darker and darker you went. Not gonna lie, I really wanted that she died for a better drama (I don't wish that she died of course, im not a monster) but man poor Aelita. First this and now the hermitage blows up (although Jeremy can still RTTP and call the police). Im not suprised by all of this (Im just suprised about the way you decided to do it even though i knew the probability of you doing it) Xana is an AI program with no mercy full of consciousness of what he is doing and in the end Franz can blame it all he want, he's the one who created that monster.
I think a return trip would work but the question remains how to deal with them.

To be fair, if he fails like the principal told him so, he'd be on the same grade Odd and the rest is (but Yumi), but they can end up in different classes.

Honestly, I was wondering if X.A.N.A. would think of do something like that. If he could send emails, why not something like "evidence" that would frame the Lyoko Warriors.
X.A.N.A. would try to take out its enemies not head-on on Lyoko, but by disrupting their normal lives on Earth!
The Lyoko Warriors had their secret exposed multiple times, but had a Return to the Past to make sure they never happen. This time, X.A.N.A. is doing the exposure itself!!!
But the penguin game, LOL!!!
Code Lyoko was part of my childhood!

By far the best Code Lyoko Fan series, but too dark for my taste. But still very enjoyable. Bravo.
The ending was a bit dark but the next season will be slightly lighter x)
It's been a time since I saw the last episodes, so I had to go back and rewatch them.
I like how you came up with a believable excuse as to why Aelita was asleep in that Evolution scene. I also really like what you've done with William. Evolution did it fine (about the only thing they did right), but here it's much better.
What a way to end the season, can't wait to see what happens next!

Top notch work. The quality of editing, sound editing and dialogs are frankly good. Music mix is a bit off sometimes, but I'm nitpcking, we see the progress, and that's good.
I like the dynamics you're introducing with every character. Some scenes deserves excellent mention (the LW talking about the clone in gymnasium). Many transitions (be it from sound echo, or visual (jeremy side portrait fade from pc to lab)) are great.

amazing ending for season 5
I loved the retcon you pulled with Hot Shower, making the firewall one of Project Carthage's which tipped off Anthea. The Ninja Probe fit like a glove in how she'd observe the Lyoko Warriors.
I hope you'll include the MegaPod. Maybe as a rogue program that Anthea set up for them before things go real. Though part of me hopes Anthea survived. Maybe using a prototype Scanner of her own on her end.
Now I wish the message included words for the Warriors, learning how they essentially helped her daughter when she was believed to be an A.I. Like she went out knowing that her family's in good hands.
Ahahah I remember doing episode 100 like 5 years ago and analyzing season 4 and being like "I really want to try and bring Anthea to the mix, but how would she save Franz Hopper?" and then I keep watching EP75 in which the bubble was used only once and was so random as an attack, so I really made it as the perfect opportunity for it to be connected.

@@matt0044 To be fair, we have to keep in mind Anthea doesn't know anything from the warriors themselves and what we saw in the flashbacks came from the FIRST version of that day. :(( She just hopes Aelita is in good company, but she wasn't even sure she was with her dad or not. :(
In reality, we have to remember Anthea only saw the data, not Aelita herself. The flashback I placed, for continuity reasons, are from the first version of that day, but there was a return to the past, so what she really saw was conflicted data of the same day in which showed Aelita in it. She still saw Aelita stuck and the ship, but not happening in real time. And then, her message was cut short as project carthage started banging at the door :(
@@CodeLyokoBeyond I Would’ve Presumed That Anthea Was Shot In The Abdomen When The Men In Black Came Through The Door. I Highly Speculate That She Survived Being Shot By The Men In Black. Meaning She Is Still Alive. But we’re not so sure If She Survived Or Not. But We Could Only Hope And Not Get Our Expectations So High. We’re just gonna Wait and See In Season 6 to find out.

It was an honor doing this season.
Every technique we learned improves the quality of the ep and make it more accurate to the original series.
The ending was pretty solid and consistent with one important point the series do in every season:
- They have good and bad sides.
While they learned the truth about Anthea, they lost so many things too. For the first time, the loss is greater than the victory.
Good:
- They got a lot of data and information.
Bad:
- Delmas aparently knows about them.
- The hermitage is gone by.
- Anthea is presumably dead.
- Project Carthage knows Franz is alive and and is very likely they are going to start searching in the area.
The good is also the fact Hopper wasn't captured and the picture was burnt, as well as being able to see the message.
Cant wait for Season 6!!! Even if its another 4 yearsss!

those MIB Are Corrupted. They just wanted to get some information about the project, so they could use it for evil. I can’t imagine so much torture anthea went through for the last 10 to 11 years. She was suffering so much trauma because of it. I was really hoping that season 6 could had some sort of answer.

No wonder Waldo was against trying to go up against Project Carthage again. It seems they're just too unfettered.
But then again, the Lyoko Warriors have fought and survived against a maniacal A.I. meant to destroy Project Carthage. It may not be easy, without a doubt, but, I doubt it's impossible.

this series have a very very good plot! why Moonscoop (or who detain code lyoko rights) doesn't actually make a spinoff series from that?
Because they tried it with Code Lyoko Evolution and failed miserably, MoonScop does not exist anymore, the series are held by another company called Mediatoon.

Your editing is top-notch imo. Despite the limitations (like reusing old animations from the show, which the show lowkey did a lot), you really do tell a solid story and the editing is convincing enough! I genuinely wished you had a team with you that could help you with your project because you give Code Lyoko a better name and the continuation it needs.

I definetly didn't really know how to create new scenes before, so between ep99-ep104 you can still see a lot of reused scenes. But I'm quite happy with the results right now. I still reuse but the new scenes overwhelm the reused, even if it takes more work x)
I do agree on the evolution part, although I will say I think the graphics' fine, but the way they changed everything made us despise the animation more too xD

Why is Anthea and Aelita's hair an unnatural color (which seems to be hereditary)?
There is an idea about this:
Have you heard of the anime: "Full Metal Panic"?
The main character of which Kaname Chidori was "Wispard" - a person with knowledge of the so-called "black" technologies that were encrypted in the DNA of this girl, which she inherited from her mother (genetic memory, so to speak) the distinguishing feature of "wispards" is just hair unnatural color (Kaname had blue)
Who knows, maybe Antea and Aelita have the same...
In any case, the above is worth mentioning in your story (for example, from the mouth of Yumi)
I actually have a headcanon but I don't really think it's important for the story so it's just in my mind. Anthea is also a scientist, so she just playing around with her pigment in her hair shaft, although it's just something for fun. I think they just took inspiration in anime and stuff, so while the story is quite realistic, I don't think we should answer all the questions with logical explanations xD
And now I wait for the kiss between odd and William to confirm they are canon also odd was right break break break dance is awesome

I didn’t understand, explain to me urgently - are they alive or were they killed? What happened at the end?
Aelita successfully retrieved the video of her mother in which she is shot at the end off-screen. Meanwhile, X.A.N.A is revealed to have been the one to bring the Men in Black in 1994, to which he did the same, telling them Waldo (Hopper) is alive and in The Hermitage again. To let him know they know, they burnt The Hermitage as a signal. X.A.N.A. also decided that the easiest plan can be the best, and so he sends a message to Delmas as well, letting him lowkey know about some of the things the gang has been doing. Everyone but Anthea is fine.
No RTTP was made and no one in the factory knows any of this happened YET. EP109 will address that.

Omg Julio please calm down i wanna live after this. What can i say anymore when i leave long ass comments every time. So at first like 10 minutes i was just confused. Like did we miss a filler episode with information about xana attacking and 24 hours access interfeace or we were just supposed to be info dumped. It was hard understanding the trios master plan not gonna lie. But anyway i was still suprised with a lot of things. William being the one setting up the clone and in original 108 yumi was doing something on supercomputer? But after that pretty much everything was a rollercoaster. Seeing that you actually made anthea scenes was definetly the biggest shock like dude did you learn to draw or something. I was actually trying to read anthea's diary but i will definetly have to try harder to see whole thing. And the video and ending i knew she was gonna die from some very old trailer from like 5 years ago(or even more considering ep 104 was 4) and some old community post from back in the day when you posted often but here right now, i wasn't ready. I thought you would put it at like end of season 6 but here and right in front of aelita 's eyes men that was tough. And with anthea' s message i realised how this kids are deep in this shit. Like jeremie just found a girl in some supercomputer and group of friends wanted to save her and bam two years later they die almost every day messing with miletary projects they didn't know excisted. Only thing i don't agree is how you are making xana socially intelegent? Like the messing with Williams head, calling men in black, principal intervention and as we known from season 1 XANA's knowlegde for human kinds is limited. But idk what you have in mind and if you just include that with his powering or if he learned thoss things over years. But overall episode was great, kept my eyes whole time and i definetly couldn't just go after it and do somethinh else, had to proccess if fully. And also i am happy we have portuges opening again so i can sing it witch i wouldn't be able to do without this series
So, for the first 10 minutes, they just carried out a plan because they assumed that X.A.N.A. would know about Anthea's message and would attempt to destroy it just so that Aelita can't have it. William, Jeremie and Aelita assumed this and prepared a plan to try and get the data the moment X.A.N.A tries to do precisely that, as X.A.N.A. will be fighting the ninjas and the ninjas will be fighting X.A.N.A., keeping them distracted so that she can sneakily get to the interface. The info about the interface only letting these transfers happen every 24h is new indeed, we have to assume it was learned off-screen between EP105 and EP106, a bit like Jeremie assumed they had to find a key on EP29 with them only having been there once. We have to remember than between EP105 and EP106 Aelita and the others tried to get the data 3 more times and failed.
As for the drawings, I've been doing new, drawn and animated scenes since EP96, but since it's from the warriors, it can be easily overlooked, I think x)
