If I was to make an assessment based on other people I would probably say that Crowley was a shifty character and initially probably wouldn't like him But what he did as far as publishing these rights I honestly think I would have never have come in contact with any of it really if it wasn't for him

Have you tried Fire Kasina? Instead of staring at the flame for long, you use the after image of the flame. Give it a go a lot of interesting things will happen.

@@TheNemeton ......Actually, it is. When a candle "burns" it creates "light" (truth) as it dispels the "darkness" (deceit). The "wick" or physical "thread" is what is being destroyed in the process. The "wick" does not exist, this material and physical world does not exist.... this is the illusion or deceit that we need to recognize and overcome. And when a person does not or cannot "see" this, they are said to be "wicked", meaning they are carnal minded and not spiritual minded.

I agree in that it is the purest way to connect to the Holy One but I wouldn't blame Crowley
