How cool is it to finally go to the planet Pantora after it was mentioned in Clone Wars Season 1 Episode 15 “Tresspass”, seen briefly in space in Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 4 “Spehere of Influence”, and had assets for the cities on the surface of Pantora built for the Dark Disciple arc of The Clone Wars with Ventress and Quinlan Vos, had it been animated and part of a longer Season 7, in this series.
Fennec straight up murdered some poor random guy who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and then killed two cops for good measure. Pretty sure she's working for the Kaminoans since we know they don't mind dealing with mercenaries and they sure don't want the Empire figuring out Omega's importance
@@ryansmith-jr4gn It wasnt bad. It was just very kid centered. Very toned down. But it was mildly entertaining and the story was cool. Knowing the lore is useful too.
5:26, sine this takes place directly after revenge of the sith, which is 28 years before the Mandalorian, and ming na wren(the actress) is almost 60, she would he in her late 20s or early 30s
I'm guessing, Fennec is around 22, here, maybe? She's in her early 50s in Mando, since she looks youthful...I can't imagine her character was being written to be as old as Ming-Na actually is (bless her genes and lifestyle).
8:21 “There’s A Bounty Out For Omega?” A Huge One Don’t You Remember When The Kaminoans Where Talking About How They Were Going To Get Shut Down Unless They Can Create More Of The Bad Batch (Advanced Clones), But They Said They Only Needed One To Clone. Then They Hinted At It Obviously Being The Easiest To Capture, The Kid.
I think Fennec Shand is in her late 20's in this. In The Mandalorian she is in her mid/late 50's like Ming-Na Wen is. Only if they are making the character the same age as the actress and my calculations are correct.
@reelrejects I believe that the Kaminoans ordered the bounty on Omega and Fennec was talking to the Kaminoans at the end. They mentioned they needed a special clone if they were going to create a new batch of clones. They can't seem to use Crosshair or a member of the Bad Batch, who were genetically mutated on accident, but it seems Omega has been created to have "desirable mutations" on purpose. So the Kaminoans have a bounty on Omega, but the Empire is looking for the Bad Batch.
Fennec was probably hired by he kaminoans, since Omega is a secret from them and they decided to not say anything to the empire (from that scene is last episode)
Im assuming Fennec was hired directly by the Kaminoans to retrieve Omega for their "Phase 3" Clone plan. So I guess we are going to be seeing a Fennec vs Crosshair fight very soon. Since the empire is still looking for the rest of the Batch.
I think the guy at the port was a Sullustan, not a Ugnaught, for what it’s worth. Same as the guy who rode next to Lando in the Falcon in Return of the Jedi.
pretty sure she isnt ex imperial but she was wanted by the empire at some point I'm assuming we will see her turn against them or not fulfilling the contract that made them come after her
Very happy to see Ming-Na Wen playing her character Fennec again, she was such a badass, she took down Wrecker in one move just showing how skilled she truly is.
@@MandatoryFruit wrecker is large and strong, this makes it so if you are skilled enough then you can redirect him in to another area as he carnt slow down as fast as others
@@animegamer0329 I know what happened, I'm saying that he shouldn't have gotten knocked out just by hitting his head against the wall. The only explanation I can think if for that, is that he was experiencing head issues last week, but he was fine by the end of the episode.
Wrecker is also used to fighting battle droids where he just charges in and uses his strength to overpower them without much skill. He didn’t anticipate her speed
5:27 There's no reason to believe Fennic in the Mandalorian is supposed to be younger than Ming-Na herself (57). Since the bad batch is somewhere between 20 and 30 years before the Mandalorian that would put her somewhere in her 20s to 30s here - enough to be the skilled bounty hunter she appears to be.
Pantora was visited back in season 3, episode 4 “Sphere of Influence” of the Clone Wars. And is the moon of the planet Orto Plutonia, which was visited back in season 1, episode 15 “Trespass” of the Clone Wars. Hope this helps ^-^
8:19 @The Reel Rejects, Do you not recall the discussion the Kaminoians had at the end of last episode? Lama Su and Taun We were talking about implementing their next phase, but to do that they would "only need one" of the clones without degenerative tissue. Many reactors on UA-cam seemed to think the Kaminoians were talking about the Bad Batch, which didn't make since given they already had one, Crosshair--the Bad Batch aren't that different from the regular clones in that they too were speed up in their growth, and I assume that process is what makes their tissue degenerative. Omega, Boba Fett and whomever else they might have made and aged naturally are perfect clones with undamaged tissue, I assume. Oddly enough, I think the Kamanoians have hired Boba to recover Omega, and I think Fennec is already working for him--when we last saw Boba Fett in Clone Wars he was forming his bounty hunter guild. I think this series is setting up Boba Fett and Fennec's relationship. Their arrangement in the Mandalorian might not have an accident, but something that was always there. When the Kaminoians realize that recovering Omega is too much work, I wonder if they'll turn their sights on Boba Fett? I think that that's going to happen, since Omega is with the Bad Batch and that they do not fail missions. That said, going up against Boba Fett won't end well for the Kamanoians I assume, as Boba Fett is the best of the Jango clones--he was raised by him! The Kamanoians might have an army of clones, but they were all trained via simulations and their inhibiter chips have robbed them of their personalities and most likely newly acquired skills on the battlefield that enabled them to grow--the Kamanoians have effectively hit the reset button on the clones, wiping away any and all improvements they made throughout the war. Anyway, going against Boba Fett will likely leave them dead or no viable samples to move forward again with Jango's tissue. I'm very interested to see how this all plays out.
The scene with Fennec meeting and "helping" Omega is very creepy. As for Omega running off, that's what kids (at least pre-teens) do. They're easily distracted, very curious about eveything, naive and have very poor judgement. They will instantly forget anything you told them at the slightest distration. Anyone with kids of their own will know that you have to keep your eye on them all the time you're in public with them. All the more difficult if you have more than one of the little *!"£*$ darlings!
Let's be honest, Omega getting distracted by a puppy is extremely relatable to most parents. You can't take your eyes off the kids. That is the best thing about Omega. She's competent but she's still a real child
