Mine has been healed for over a decade and I wear earphones with no problem by just flipping the hoop up out of the way. Probably not recommended but it works for me.

I wear earphones all the time without issue. The funny thing is that this piercing gave me zero problems compared to my helix. I like that the daith is tucked away because it's less likely to get bumped. Every time someone hugged me, they would always hit my helix.
My ear with my diath works better with headphones then my tragus that is constantly getting caught
I was put off getting a daith because the predicted earphones issue, but I am able to wear my apple airpods fine with it - I don't even need to flip the ring. Think it depends on your ear shape. Granted, the earphones are not secure in that ear, so couldn't go running with them and it sometimes pops out if I smile or eating. But hey, daith is pretty so worth it lol
That’s not true . It does take a while to heal. Yet never interferes with stethoscope or air pods. I use all the time

Daith is the most beautiful piercing I have. Not many ppl have it bc most ppl cant handle that 6-12 months. Difficult but--- worth it!
I wear headphones every day. If you can't fit your headphones then your jewelry is too big
I've never heard of anyone not being able to wear earbuds with a daith lol

I also thought the Daith would be a problem with headphones but it isn’t. My conch is way more of a problem
BS this is just to scare people away from getting them. I've had mine since Jan of 2020, they took one year to heal fully and I wear ear buds and LOOP ear plugs regularly for long periods of time with no issues. It all depends on the jewelry you have. I recommend rings so you don't have to deal with anything to screw on like barbells.

You CAN wear earbuds with it, but it can take a pretty long time to heal. It's worth it in my opinion if you think it's looks nice:)
