- We used the biggest Murray cod lures to try to catch the biggest Murray cod Lake Eildon has to offer. These are the heaviest freshwater giant fish i have ever weighed.
These are the biggest fish you will encounter on a swimbait, Murray cod lures get more exciting the bigger they are.

so sick to see 2 big cod on the boat at the same time, it just shows how good cod in dams can be.
Insane mate and yep dams can be red hot when they want to be, but we did spend a lot of time trying to find fish in a location to get that opportunity
You must be knackered by the end, Deano, those swimbaits are huge. The rewards are worth it though...
Casting them is fine with the right tackle, but yes we were wrecked from lack of sleep and fishing in less than ideal circumstances

Hey mate, i run the 904 and the 964. In this video i am pretty sure i was running the 964, especially for those giant fish. The rod needs to be able to cast whatever baits you want to throw on it, not worry about the poundage of the line

Im running the 400 Calcutta mate, its only a tiny bit heavier than the 300 but bigger line capacity

Agreed mate but it was tough to do in the dark and a lot of fish that didn't have any interest, no excuse though. This weeks vid has almost all the hits on film
Most cringe big cod video I have watched. Too busy worrying about camera angles to make the fish look bigger than enjoying the moment
We enjoyed every moment of it mate and made sure we had the footage to be able to enjoy it in the future
